Very bad service here and experience with the people working in the front desk, not talking in a friendly manner way and were being awfully rude. One guy who work in the front desk try charging me over $100 for a led strip light installation which has only been $50 before when I went there the 1st and 2nd time, I then knew something wasnt right so I ask the owner and it ended up to be only $70 due to some part he added with to the installation. The guy seen pissed off the fact that i caught him trying to rip me off and also the lady working next by him who was giving me a angry stare too. Couple weeks later the led lights wasnt working properly, kept blinking on its own when car was off. I call in and a lady spoke in a angry tone, as if she knew who it was from last time because I told her it was about the led lights. While on the phone with her she told me they will CHARGE me an additionally $100 if the checkup take more than the labor time and like seriously $100 just for a check up not even considering the installation yet? I mean even though they were the one who did the installation and mess it up, its pretty much nonsense now losing over $200 just for a led installation. Shortly after she started arguing and didnt consider I was a customer. First of all im not stupid to get ripped off, second of all I have zero toleration for racism. Im not going back to this place due to disrespectful and rude people working here.

I took my car in with a coolant leak... cant go too far with that and they advised upfront that they would charge $56 (including tax) to diagnose the vehicle... a "check out" fee and that it would not apply to the repair. Ive never heard of this before, but being a single guy and only one car available... it was a hassle to consider an alternative. They called me with a laundry list of repair/maintenance recommendations, nicely explaining the need for each. Some were worthwhile, some were not, but to each their own opinion. The quote to replace the water pump was higher than a couple of other places I called after being advised that the water pump was indeed the problem. Overall, I rate them below average because I havent heard of an automotive repair shop charging to look at something like this, and especially not applying it towards the repair and because their quote was high.

Scott went far above and beyond what he needed to do to not only fix my car but also to sort out problems I was having with a different service shop / shady mechanic who was trying to rip me off. He dealt with them on my behalf so I no longer had to do it, taking a huge load of stress & frustration off my shoulders. St. Paul Automotive fixed a problem in 24 hours that the other shop hadnt been able to handle during multiple visits over ten days. Calm, professional, fast, and kind. Very highly recommended.

Scott M. and Wendy are helping me sell my elderly mothers car even. They take good care of my vehicle and are hoping that my moms car is a good fit for another one of their customers. Wow. Im very grateful that Scott has the knowledge he does about vehicles! A chain shop working on my vehicle may have cost me a new engine. I run my business from my vehicle and they got me back on the road in 1/2 a day thanks to Wendy being in top of ordering the right parts immediately after I called. Amazing!!!

The only place Ill take my Jeep. Best service, great people and very accommodating. I wont ever go to another shop after the excellent service Ive received here over the past 4 years. Moving to another city, but will continue to go back for regular maintenance and if I have any issues with my Jeep.
