I brought my vehicle into the aamco transansmission store in west saint paul mn 7/30/2013 to get get my car looked at because of a slipping transmission. The women i dealt with was nice and very informative she told me she was a temporary replacement because they were having management issues with the staff. After forking over 3k for a remanufactured transmission and a cv axle on the right side after a week. I brought my car back because of a violent gear change when I returned there was another manager who also stated he was temporary .After looking at my vehicle I was told i needed a cv axle and a new caliper on the left side. After fixing it the transmission still jerked into second gear they told me it was the type of transmission being a high torque.I then parked the vehicle because i didnt want to deal with it at the time. Then one day I come outside theres antifreeze all over my driveway i had it towed and was told it was a water pump. After getting it fixed a week later my power steering pump went out .Once again i had it fixed a month later there was a clicking sound coming from the left side when turning after bringing it in once again i was told it was the cv axle on the left and the caliper so after getting that fixed i parked the truck for the summer. So last week i was hearing some sqeaking under the hood and the steering was locking up at random so i stopped at a sears to have a diagnostic I was told it was the power steering pump and a bad left cv axle. After telling the tech I recently had them replaced he laughed and asked "with used parts?" he then showed me that the cv was never replaced or the caliper. After showing him the recipt he then told me that it was never replaced and looked too old. So I called and scheduled to have aamco look at it I spoke with a guy named brian who was polite on the phone when i got there I asked him for a print out of all the work i had done and he did. I then told him there was a couple recipts missing that didnt match my recipt and he said well thats all we have in the system I replied "theres something shady going onand instead of him asking what the problem was he blew up and got real rude stating, that he didnt appreciate being called shady and hes only been there 6 months I then replied "i wasnt calling you shady" i said there was something shady going on at the shop! Before i could explain and get my recipts from the car he began to yell and asked me to leave before he calls the cops,So long story short i have recipts stating the work i have done which was never done which they have no record of! So i will be contacting my attorney about this situation i hate being taken advantage of,Paying for parts and work which was never done and pocketed by the now fired staff and to be rudely yelled at by a person who has no idea what the situation was is totaly unproffesional.I have been in advertisments and promotions for 16 years and i will use my skills and connections to get the word out about the situation so no one else has to suffer or be swindled AAMCO Transmissions

George Stinson doesnt exist. Someone, most likely my competitors or some real estate developers who want to run me out of town, paid someone to write that fraudulent review. I have never met a George Stinson and there is no one by that name in the customer database. Since purchasing this business 4/1/14 I have only garnered positive reviews from actual customers. Take a look at his GOOGLE+ profile and it should explain enough. No other reviews, no one in his circles, no information or interactions other than his review of my business, which is full of lies. Notice that he also doesnt mention a specific car or problem but does try to garner sympathy with the reader with the whole "my dad is in the hospital" ruse. Also tries to make his point of view more credible by discounting the other "real" reviews. Here at AAMCO Transmissions of West St. Paul I strive to offer the highest quality customer service possible. Come down here to 1571 South Robert St. and let me prove it to you, I will complete a multi-point inspection on your vehicle for free Monday-Friday 7:30-5:30 and Saturdays 9:00-1:00pm. My name is Brian Scott and I am the owner operator of AAMCO Transmissions of West St. Paul and I wish I didnt have to defend my good name online against liars and frauds.

The most helpful and genuinely friendly mechanic I have ever done business with. My wife and I moved to West St. Paul four years ago, came across a free "check engine" offer from AAMCO when we needed it, and havent looked for another mechanic since. From diagnosis through repair, the owner Brian, goes above and beyond to provide outstanding customer service. His staff finds time to provide an initial estimate very quickly even if I show up at his garage door the morning of without an appointment. My brought my Accord in for a check engine light that resulted in some part replacement in the exhaust system. The following year, that same system was the culprit for another check engine light and remembering that he had serviced it prior, Brian offered a complimentary smoke test to determine the leak! Knowing that car repair customers are always looking for the best deal, they have always been great to provide part cost options or suggestions for necessity of repair that have helped me make informed decisions. Having found a trustworthy mechanic in our area makes our life in West St Paul so much easier and my family and I cannot say thanks enough to Brian and his crew at AAMCO!

First off I would like to say that Brian the owner was very courteous and friendly. My Son and I approached him the problem that my boys car was having and brought him my warranty paperwork, which he copied and said he would have no problem working with them. Then he did a full diagnostic of the automobile (visual, computer and driven) called me back in less than two hours with the stated results that it was a system programming issue on my model of car and that it would have to be resolved by the dealer. I then asked several questions which he graciously answered each one of them and on top of that said he would give me the written results of his findings and that I did not owe him anything. In my opinion that is above and beyond in service and something that I did not expect but I am very proud to see still exist. Car trouble is never fun but my experience with Brian from the first phone call was a pleasant one and I would Highly recommend him to anyone.. Thanks Brian!!

If you are looking to get your car serviced the right way, do not hesitate in bringing your car into Brian. Brian gets customer service and the work is always done right. It all starts with checking out the issue for free which you will never get anywhere else. Brian calls and runs through the situation and solution and makes absolutely sure you are ok with moving forward as well as breaks down every single cost related to the repair. Brian also advises if its worth doing the repairs as opposed to other shops where they will grab your cash for unnecessary repairs . Brian and the team is very friendly and knowledgeable about cars. We have replaced a blown out transmission and keep going back for minor repairs. I will highly recommend the shop and the service. With 3 cars at home I have been to a couple of shops over the years and I do not think twice about calling Brian when issues come up.
