I was SO impressed with the level of service at this mechanic. I would recommend them to anyone without reservation and will absolutely be back for all my car needs. I just moved to town to finish law school at UMN and dont know a soul here. My car kept turning off up the street and I made it into their parking lot with J&M towing following me. I googled the reviews and saw they were well rated, but I still sort of expected them to see a lady with out of state tags, a little dog, and an older car being followed by a tow truck as a financial "opportunity". I got just the opposite. The staff was friendly and professional as soon as I walked in the door. They got my car in within about 15min despite looking fairly busy. I dont tell mechanics up front that I used to repair my own cars with my ex-boyfriend mechanic because I like to see if they are honest. Parkway was 100% geunine, professional AND friendly. They told me what was wrong, how to fix it, how long it would take and any options I may want to use. They also guarantee the work and parts for 1 year. The estimate was surprisingly low and when I told them I would have to wait in the waiting area since I dont know anyone in this town, they offered a loaner car, free of charge, so I could get my little dog home and because it would be a few hours. I thought on the way home that this mechanic was too good to be true. I checked online to confirm the repairs for my current car and what they told me was spot on. When they called to tell me my car was ready, I received the same level of friendly service and no surprises. The bill was straighforward and exactly what they said. I also went under the hood when I got home and checked the work. Everything looks great!! As a tribute to whoever the owner is, I looked around to see if other customers seemed pleased as well. The employees appeared to be happy and friendly in general when interacting with customers. It is a well run business. I was blown away at this rare level of quality service that I half expected the alternator to fall out on the road, lol, but they did a terrific job! I was very happy with Parkway and absolutely recommend them. Thank you so much Parkway!!!

After graduating from college, I needed a place I could go that I trusted to have my car worked on. I know very little when it comes to cars (my dad always used to take care of things) and had been taken advantage of at a few other places because of that fact. However, Parkway Auto Care was so much different. Parkway Auto is a family-run, super friendly, local business with integrity and a commitment to excellence. They will fix what I need, let me know when something is a safety issue, or if it is something that can wait for a few thousand miles to be fixed. Now, when something goes wrong with my car, I know exactly who I am going to. Girl friendly, student friendly, family friendly, and dad-of-a-young-and-car-illiterate-daughter friendly. Blake and Ron are the two Ive always been helped by - very helpful and trustworthy. Call ahead - Ive never had to wait more than a day or two to get in.

My wife and I have brought cars here for the last two years. Every time we bring a car we get excellent service and a good price. Specifics from this last time when I brought in my WRX and I needed the following work, information and estimates: Oil change - No problem (of course) Asked for Transmission + differential fluid to be changed - They told me that it could wait until spring/summer to get done. Block Heater plug got broken - replace plug or replace block heater - ordered a part Clutch - Identified a problem as my clutch is starting to go but could wait until the problem is more consistent Gasoline smells - Tightened everything in the fuel system and the smell went away Dashboard lights - estimate - provided a good estimate Trunk sensor - estimate - provided a good estimate The found a wheel bearing going bad and replaced it after talking to me about it.

Over due review The good: The place is clean and organized, seem like nice people The bad: *Cost a lot more than other places. *I usually have to call them and ask, for an update of whats going on, even when my car is done they sometimes dont call me. *If they estimate that itll be done on Tuesday then add 2 more days to that *They are very busy and seem to take on more work then they can handle, so putting a priority on customers who are willing to spend more $$ over you makes more sense here. Which means they have the luxury to pick and choose who they want to do business with, which is good for them and not so good for you. Its an okay place to take your car to if you have a newer car and can afford to spend a little more.

A grateful shoutout to our familys favorite service station, Parkway Auto Care, for another fantastic experience! My toddler and I had unexpected car issues an hour before bedtime. You checked our truck quickly, got some us some answers, and even got us home in time for dinner and bedtime...all with smiles, helpful attitudes, and patience with my exuberant, curious toddler. This evening could have been a disaster, but instead I feel like supermom having made it through a situation I hoped would never happen. You guys are the best!!

My car was making some disturbing noises and shudder on the freeway. I took it in for an evaluation and they gave me a clear list of problems. With equally clear prices. We worked out a plan to get the car fixed a little at a time. Their prices were right at or below average. The service was great, the staff friendly and professional. The day they fixed the car it was ready when they estimated it would be and the first set of problems are fixed. Ill continue working with them. And recommending them..

Been going there for about 15 years. When I was a poor college kid or in between jobs, they were always honest about what repairs I could put off for a little while. Recently they did some work and unknown to all the part replaced was faulty. Car broke down on the highway and I had to get it repaired out in Eagan. THEY REIMBURSED ME FOR THE 2ND REPAIR! You wont find a better mechanic, or one who sticks by their work. Cant recommend more highly.

Highly recommended. Visited them several times in the past few years. They always give you very objective evaluations of the problems, from necessary and urgent issues to minor ones, and suggest a reasonable repair/replacement plan with fair charges, while many other auto-cares would exaggerate minor problems and get more money out of your pocket.

First mechanic Ive ever been to and I never felt like I was being taken advantage of. They were incredibly helpful, explained everything with care. The prices were fair and they wanted to make sure I was comfortable with the prices before service was done. I would definitely recommend.

had to come in today for a dead battery. like my other visits the work was quick, fair, and honest. i even witnessed them do a free wiper adjustment for another customer. it is good know there are still trustworthy folks out there especially in an industry where they arent common.
