Who ever had something good to say about their cable provider? Last time I tried to transfer service I was on hold for a total of 28 minutes and spoke to 5 reps. I had to re-verify my info every time and still didnt get done what I needed. If you want multiple things done, youll have to speak to different reps because one doesnt have the power to do everything you need. Are they nice? Sure. Are they heavily scripted? Naturally. Ive had Mediacom on and off for over a decade and it has only gotten worse. Poor customer service management is one of the primary reasons we move on to things like Netflix, Hulu and HBO GO/NOW, not to mention a lack of true ala-carte service. Bottom line: If you become their customer, expect poor service and extraordinary long hold times. Its in their policy. I was a rep there in the early 2000s and while they try to be good at their jobs, theyre not given the tools to do so.
Your phone answering service is a joke! It takes a great deal of patience to get through a menu that doesnt get you anywhere! A waste of time to try to call. I wished there was another company in our area to work with cable and internet and phone.
Lady was instantly rude, wasnt any help. Talked down to me and raised her voice and said she couldnt do anything for me, even when the night before customer service said she would help me there
