This is definitely the worst Internet service provider I have ever dealt with. I have the 6mbs package and am lucky to get 2mbs during NON peak times. As soon as afternoon rolls around that 2mbs dips to around 500kbs or so. I used to game online with friends but am no longer able to do so due to terrible lag. Anymore its a challenge to even stream Hulu or netflix without buffering multiple times for extended periods of time during a 20 minute episode. If I thought it would do anything I would report them to the BBB. Aside from the terrible speed, or lack there of, they also charge entirely too much for their "services". Roughly $70/MO for 6mbs is rediculous when other providers in the same area charge the same price for 100mbs options. Unfortunately they stop providing service out this way just one block shy of my residence. Ive put in multiple complaints about the slow speed on several different occasions before finally a tech came out. He swapped my modem for a new one but told me he thought that that would not fix my problem and that he believed the problem actually originated on their end. When I asked him why it wasnt fixed if it was on his end I was told, in a less direct way, that it was above his pay grade. Tl;Dr they charge too much for an outdated package that doesnt even reach the speeds they advertise. And customer service is near non-existent. The only reason they even have customers is because there is no other option for some people aside from satalite internet.

So far I have had nothing but problems since the moment that I bought this internet service. I am currently paying for 6mbps and as of a few minutes ago I am only getting 0.39mbps.I was told to upgrade my service by a support guy in Atlanta and that would fix my problem but it has only gotten worse and now I am paying more for it. I have been having this problem for well over two months now and have asked for a tech to come out on multiple occasions and so far nothing. I did talk to a supervisor this morning and hes going to try to get a tech out here today. We will see I guess. Besides my ridiculously slow internet speed over the past few months I have had a tech out here once when I first got it because of a poor signal with both my Boycom cable and internet, he opened the cable outlets on the walls and found that all the splitters in my house were hooked up backwards (inputs in the outputs and outputs in the inputs). He said that whoever hooked the cable up originally did it for cosmetic reasons and to quote him "its a wonder that you had any cable or internet at all". After this happened my internet was fine for a short time, then October hit and its progressively gotten worse and worse ever since. This is not my first internet company but it is by far the worst that I have ever had period. I suggest that if you are looking for internet in the Poplar Bluff MO area to go and look for a better company who has there $h!t in order if you have the choice, which I dont!

I pay $120~ a month for 20mb/s down and 1.9mb/s. I had NewWave before them and paid $80~ for 60mb/s down and 15mb/s up. That is 3x more download speed and 7.5x more upload speed for 1/3 he price. You thought that was bad? The worst part is that Boycoms service ISNT CONSISTENT, absolutely ridiculous. Because of how absurdly priced their internet is, I cant pay it every month, resulting in me paying TWO HUNDRED AND NINETY SIX DOLLARS to get it turned back on. Do yourself a favor and move somewhere with access to NewWave, itll save you more money than using Boycom.

Been paying over $70 per month for years for VERY slow internet. Unfortunately there is no other option in our area. The day we have a choice, is the day we switch companies. This has recently changed, but for 7 years the ONLY bill that I could not pay over the internet... Was my INTERNET provider...Boycom. They NEED to invest everybodys $70+ per month into better technology! Cant wait for ATT or another company to come to our neighborhood.

Pros at lest you have Internet Cons cost service quality. Most expensive Internet I have ever had with the lowest speeds . If you test your speed its not even close to what your paying for if your watch YouTube Netflix have ps3 ps4 etc gaming online they trottle you so slow its unbelievable I pay for best package they have had them for a few months until I can get AT&T unverse out here trust me do not use them unless you have to like me

Okay. Ive had bad providers in the past. But this? What is this? I supposedly "6 Mbps" internet (which costs $70/mo., mind you), but Im lucky to get >1 Mbps speeds during NON-crowded hours. At the time of writing this review, I have 0.03 Mbps download speed, which is beyond unacceptable. Folks, if youre reading this, and you have the option to choose a different provider, it would be in your best interest to go with the other provider.

the lady at the office says " nothing will make you happy ! Wow! that just shows you how much they care about service! I Paid for 3mgs but only was getting 1.3 mgs if I was lucky. So I up graded to a 6mg service. and still now Im only getting 1.5 mgs when lucky in between times when my service is completely not working. So how is it I up grade and the service got worse.

Changing my review, rep called and is doing what needs to be done to better our internet service. I will give higher when we get everything straightened out. Rep was super friendly and understanding of my issues. Was fast at calling back to find out what they can do to help. Right now I at least feel that they are trying and thats a major plus.

" Dont fall for this scam! I pay $75 a month for 6g ! it have never works over .09g even during non peak hours. dont let them rob you of your dignity!!!!!! Ive had the customer service reps mouth off to me for expecting them to proved the service I am paying for. What is that?

This is the worst internet ever!! I work from home to my office in Dallas so I have to have internet. If it were not for that Id rather have no internet than pay for something that never works. I would use anyone else in a heart beat if they would offer it out where we live.

Probably the worst internet provider in existence. The only thing worse than Boycom internet is Satellite internet. Dont waste your time or money, nothing ever gets fixed. Many technicians have been to my house, yet nothing has been fixed and I was given no answers.

Worst service Ive ever had... pay almost $100 and Internet doesnt even work most of the time. Our modem was "messed up" so instead of replacing it they replaced the power cord....still doesnt work but 10% of the time.
