Before you decide to go into this shop, I do recommend you check out this shops Better Business Bureau rating. As of 10/8/16 its an F, and as of 11/8/2016 its a stronger F. This means you are almost guaranteed no resolution if you end up having a problem with them, and if its a significant problem which you NEED a resolution for, you will need to take it to court to see anything back. Anyways, now for my actual description of my experience: Came in on 10/7/16 for a smog test. I waited 30 minutes and was told the smog test had failed, and was offered to have some $60-70 "inspection" be held to investigate the problem, then however else more to fix the problem. This in and of itself sounded extremely fishy; I already knew Perrfect had a bad reputation and would never let them do anything that they have to stick their hands under my hood for, so I was certain they had either failed me on purpose or this was the greatest coincidence of all time. Needless to say, I highly doubted it was the latter. I paid my $9.95 smog test fee and left. I went straight to another Smog test station. The test passed. Hmm, its starting to look more like they rigged it. So now I shift gears. Since it seems like there had been no apparent reason for me to wait 30 minutes, pay $9.95, and not have my smog test passed, I was seeking an audience with the manager at Purrfect so that s/he could at least entertain the possibility of a refund, in good faith. I placed the call to request a refund. The worker who answered the phone said he could not process a refund, and said to call his manager the next day. The following day, I called in the morning and the same staff answered, said he would be available after 12:30. I called again at 12:30. Still not available! So I left my phone number and requested to be called back. This would not have nearly as big of an issue if I could AT LEAST talk to a manager about it, even if no refund is provided, but not even being able to get in contact with someone that matters is completely unacceptable. Since the manager never contacted me, I filed a complaint with the BBB. The BBB made several attempts to contact the business, but they never replied. The business has now gained +1 black mark on their BBB profile. While I was there, the business also "recommended" a ton of maintenance without actually inspecting the vehicle, including "fluid flush/services" "filter change services", pretty much all of the typical type of money grabbing services shops like this will recommended whether you need it or not. Irresponsible and greedy, typical of a scam shop. Since Purrfect Auto has a reputation of mediocre service, false advertising, and attempting to sell you items you dont need, youd THINK they would at least cover this with a decent customer service facade, but they dont even TRY to right any wrongs.

this place was sold and is now as of nov 2012 under new management. each store is owned and opperated independantly. i went to this location on craige. the owner is brandon and his wife. they are there working daily usally with there son coloring in the corner. the manager is eric. deal directly with these people the are the first honest people i have run into in a long time. were all just trying to get by these days and they understand and are in the same situation. i called them because my husband car blew up. i mean there was a big bang then alot of grinding and banging noise. it was bad. when we looked at the car there was a dent and paint was chipped where the spark plug blew out and hit the hood. i had oil changed a little bit back and they seemed nice at the time so i decided to call. they were wonderful! they made arrangements and had my car towed to there shop at a discounted fee. then they looked car over. i explained im looking at forecloser and have 0 extra money at this time. they were able to fix the car without replacing the engen or the head. it was fixed to 100% as well as tuned up and replaced all the fluids to prevent metal shards from causing any other problems. the car runs better then it ever has. the were kind and worked with me on the price that didnt empty my account. Oh did i mention that they did it all in one day. i was able to make it to work for my night shift. can you belive that. when they had my car i called 6 other places and explained what was going on with my car, i got from replace the engen to replace the head to a engen rebuild. the cheepest quote being it will start at 2600$ then what ever else we finde that needs to be fixed. i got it done at purrfect auto for way less then half of that lowest qoute. life has been a real mess lately and i am so greatful God put these people in my life. now i have a car that runs better then it ever has and there word that that none of there work will have to be redone. like i said not every purrfect auto is the same. but if you go to craig location and ask for Eric or Branndon you will get great work done at a more then fair price.

Terrible service! Im not sure where to really begin. The sign on the outside says $12.95 for an oil change up to 5 quarts. My vehicle takes 6 quarts. But I brought my own oil and filter, I asked the gentleman at the front desk how much labor it would cost just to drain and fill it no inspection. He told me $15 I asked him why the sign said $12.95 his only reply was that my vehicle was $15. I was left confused on why a regular oil change where I dont provide my own oil and filter runs around $12.95 but if I bring my own oil and filter the labor somehow jumps to 15 with no oil and filter charge. Anyway I needed to have it done so I said sure lets get it done how long will it be? He said 30 minutes. 30 minutes is more than enough time to do a full-blown inspection and an oil change. But remember, I didnt ask for the inspection, and specifically told him not to do one. Only drain and fill it. that service shouldnt take 30 minutes. I left in an hour. No apology, no explanation, no supplemented discount. It was as if he didnt even care about people. Your vehicle is one of the biggest investment of your life and you expect the person that you take it to, to be trustworthy, and professional. My vehicle also had another known issue. Four of my oxygen sensors had gone bad I already had the parts but I needed someone to put them in I wanted to give them a chance regardless of the bad experience if they were affordable. The dealership for all four is $160. When I asked him he was walking away from me wouldnt look me in the eye and blurted out $200. He didnt even look it up. At the end of my experience I expressed my concern and frustration to him about that price. I told him that the dealership was $40 cheaper then he was. He looked me straight in the eye and said then you should take it there rudely . Perhaps I will and I hope anybody whos reading this will take their vehicle to somewhere else too.
