I would like everyone in Las Vegas to know that Sun Valley Automotive is a *****FIVE STAR business. When I moved to LV two years ago, I was very concerned about finding a mechanic. I took my car to the same mechanic in San Diego from the day I got the car over 10 years ago until I moved to LV. Some of my friends would say, “being a girl and not knowing what the mechanic is even talking about, makes a girl wonder if mechanics actually rip them off. With Sun Valley Auto Mechanics this is not a concern, they are true, honest by the book mechanics. People complain wherever you go about the cost of mechanics, well mechanics are comparative as a good Doctor is to their patient. Auto repair tasks are very involved and hard work. Most people just complain how much it cost without even knowing what repairs the mechanic made and how much time and labor was put into the repairing of a car of any magnitude. My point here is if you like to have confidence in knowing you are getting your car repaired whatever the problem may be by absolute best profession, top of the line mechanics give yourself a treat and go to Sun Valley Automotive. The office staff is most friendly and professional, provide explicit details to the customer ever inch of the way, itemizing every detail and every charge. Letting the customer make the choice. When you drive away in your car after a Sun Valley Automotive mechanic has worked on your car you no longer have any worries – your car will run excellent, you didn’t get ripped off, nor did you have to over pay. I know Sun Valley Automotive is the best in the business in Las Vegas; I researched intensely when I arrived from San Diego. Sun Valley Automotive is the greatest place to take your car, at least go check it out for an oil change or a smog check they are open until midnight, which is way cool. I love Sun Valley Automotive, great atmosphere, honest business, accurate diagnostics; superb top-notch mechanics that make your car run excellent. I know my car is safe because Sun Valley Automotive mechanics worked on it. I am just a customer trying to spread the word. If you do not believe me, give them a call and ask for yourself. sp

MY RATING IS NEGATIVE -100! Mike Prince, at least thats the name he gave, finding out he is Mike Rumple and Terry B is the official owner, the general manager (Mike) was so very rude! Went in for an oil change, advised the red head guy not to remove my K and N air filter. My air filter was on my car before they changed the oil. Funny how its no longer there. Rude Mike (very unprofessional) talked over me, basically called me a liar, said why would one of My employees take your measly 30 dollar air filter?! To correct the so called General manager of this place, I advised him it was $47.99 plus tax, still have my receipt. He didnt comment to that, yet proceeded to talk over me, oh, do what you want to do, call metro, make a police report! That I did, faxed the Attorney General, completed the DMV compliance form, did a bbb complaint. Mike says Ill show metro the tape, tell the bbb and youre not going to get anywhere! My company has been around for 26 years, yada, yada, yada. I let him be unprofessional as he asked why would anyone of my guys do that. My response, have you watched the news about automotive shops ruining, breaking, and stealing things from peoples vehicles. Remember news stations go undercover for consumers. He didnt say anything. Sure, I can replace my filter, but its the principle of the situation. One of his employees deleted, altered the tape or took my filter off where a camera does not show. I am not letting this go. He doesnt want to do the right thing, so I will review, post, spread by word of mouth and anyone else that will listen. They should really check reviews from all sights. They thought I was a gullible woman, didnt know about cars. They should get ready for this battle. #DOTHERIGHTTHING

Dont ever take your car to this crooked shop. I took my car in for a diagnostic because it was shifting hard and long shift to 2nd gear. They told me it was caused by a broken transmission mount only. I assumed, ( you know what happens when you do that) that they did a complete diagnostic ruling out transmission failure. But no, they did not, they just "looked" at it and decided the most obvious thing must be all that is wrong with it. Well that "band-aid" worked for 3 days and then my car did the same exact thing. I took it back to Sun Valley complaining that my car was still not fixed and they said that they could now do more testing. What? Why? Didnt they already do a diagnostic. Apparently no. I refused and took it to Findlay Honda, they told me my transmission was failing and didnt even charge me a diagnostic fee. Not only do you get ripped off but you get treated horribly. I tried to formally complain to the General manager, Mike Rumple, but I have only had the pleasure of talking to him twice, each time less than 5 minutes. I have called several times and am always told the same, he is out of the office or in a meeting. Apparently Sun Valley doesnt care about customer service. When you look at their website they are accredited with an A+ rating from the better business bureau, say that they have ASE certified technicians and are a affiliated with Tech-Net. Which is misleading because you expect knowledgeable technicians and ethical service, you get neither of those with Sun Valley Auto. Just so everyone knows, Terry B. is Terry Buis the OWNER of Sun Valley Automotive. Shame on you Terry, you should take better care of your company.

The most amazing experience! The day before my family & I were headed home to California the unexpected happened--my engined locked. I was devastated (had to leave the vehicle in Vegas), desperate (protect my familys fears & get them home safe), unprepared (financially for a major repair,), spent, under the weather & had to return to work the next morning when the repair tech delivered the news. Although Id lost my vehicle I had no idea it would be replaced with a great friendship! The repair tech, Sean, was comforting, kind & offered to help in any way--and he did just that! Most places would have still charged both service & storage fees--not this one! Another step further, he assisted me (as a go between) in selling my vehicle to a junk car dealer of which involved transfer of title, $$, etc. Talk about HONESTY, CARE, RELIABILITY & QUALITY OF SVC ? In my opinion I found them all in Sean and the Sun Valley Auto Team! Best of all I was reminded that beautiful people still exist in the world--thanks Sean! Im grateful for the friendship & will see you and your family soon.

Went in at about 9Pm on Saturday June 8th to get a smog on my vehicle. I was told that it did not pass smog, but the person behind the counter could not tell me what the code meant why I did not pass smog, but if I wanted to bring it back for $94.00 I could bring it back tomorrow and they could put it on their machine and tell me what was wrong with it. I went home and contacted a friend who said the code on my failed smog was for a break light switch.....what the hell does my brakes have to do with my emissions. So Sunday we went to the car was at Charleston and Torrey Pines that also does smog....GUESS WHAT.....my vehicle passed smog without a hitch, Do not go to Sun Valley Automotive,,,,,if you do and you dont pass get a second opinion. I wonder what they would have said if I let them put it on their machine. Nice waiting room, but I guess they have to make money somewhere to pay for it.
