After a nightmare of a situation with another shop, I brought my car here. I couldnt be happier with my choice of an auto shop. They are extremely helpful, knowledgeable, affordable and reliable. Not only were they able to fix my car a day earlier than expected, they also saved me about $1000 compared to an estimate I got from another local shop (and that was after adding 3 more repairs to the list than the other shop quoted me for). Sam was the main guy that handled the front end and Cam did the work on my car. Both of them really made the experience a lot less painful than I expected it. One of the repairs was for torn brake lines and they were able to order the part and get it done way ahead of schedule. A common issue that happens after a situation such as mine is having air in the brake lines which makes the brakes squishy and not as responsive. After I picked up my car I realized this was the case. I called Cam (the mechanic) up and told him what I was experiencing. He had me bring in the car 15 minutes later, bled the brakes, and fixed the issue within 10 minutes. Although their repairs have a warranty, Sam didnt even give me time to bring it up before informing me that it was covered and the repair became top priority since they knew I was on a tight schedule. They even told me if the problem comes back, to bring it in and they will do it again because it is possible not all the air worked its way out. Another great aspect of this shop is that they actually took the time to explain the details of what was going on with my car and even were able to show me what they were talking about while my car was on the lift. I actually learned quite a bit from these guys in the short amount of time my car was in the shop. If you value your car, and want to know you can trust your car to operate properly, take it to these guys. After coming here, I would never trust anyone else with my car. When it comes to my family being in the car, I need to know that their lives are safe and my car is going to be reliable. So I guess you could say in a way, I trust Sam and Cam with our lives. I highly recommend them and this should be the only shop you ever need! Thanks again guys, you saved me a lot of hassle and got me back on the road with ease (and without too big of a dent in the wallet).

went in for a routine oil check when my normal mechanic was closed. I was told i needed to replace my drive belt, flush my transmission AND my power steering systems. I later went and bought 2 belts that were needed for my car. These together came to around $30.00. I went back in to have the belts changed. I then received a phone call later saying that my car suddenly had a 3 belt that needed to be changed as well, that I hadnt been notified of. Not having the time to go out buy one, i agreed for them to purchased the part, after they told me it will cost a little more since they are getting the part, and i agreed thinking my two previous belts were around $15.00 or so. I then dont hear back from them all day until a half hour before they close, while Im on the other side of town and the person on the phone rudely insisted i be there before 5 oclock to pick up the car. I get there on time by some miracle and get my bill that tells me to order that other part was an addition $45!!! After arguing with the man about how this one belt is 3x the price of a normal one, all he could respond was " you were told this on the phone". 3x the normal price to have someone bring them a part and Im the one that has to pay that??? Rude Service. Pushing unnecessary work done to car. Unethical workers all equals that I wont ever spend the time or money there again.

My grandmother, and I took our cars in on the same day to get their basic oil change for each of our cars. We went in and the man at the front desk was very unfriendly, and borderline rude, we gave him the necessary information, and went to walk to a nearby store. Before we could even get out of the parking lot a mechanic ran up to us and INSISTED that my grandmother needed two new filters, and said it was $22 for both, and it ended up being $22 each, then insisted that she needed and oil flush, and said they couldnt do a basic oil change without the flush as well, which was $20, and when the bill came it was nearly $90, when we simply went in for a $20 oil change. Then, they called and INSISTED that my car needed a water pump, which was just replaced a little over a year ago, and when I asked them to lift the car, so I could see it they did and it appeared to no such evidence proved what they were telling me. Then, when they couldnt get me to do that they INSISTED once again that I get all new filters for my car, all of which are relatively new. So, the total money spent was $130 when we both went in for $20 oil changes. I would not recommend this place to my worst enemy.

Crooks! Tell you its a one hour job and then try and bill you for 4. Told me one part needed to be replaced then after I agree to price and they put it in, shockingly more parts needed replaced doubling the cost! Manager, Cam, wouldnt discuss or answer any of my questions about this and instead refused to even finish job. Drove off lot and vehicle died about a mile away. Now the vehicle wont even stay running for more than a couple miles without dying. An issue we have never had prior to bringing it here! The check engine light us now on also. And where to go from here since I asked for a phone number of a way to reach a supervisor and Cam tells me there is nobody above him and he is the only one I can deal with. So I am expected to believe that the highest ranking employee in all of Meineke works at this one particular location. I have never been so appalled in my life at how poorly I was treated as a customer. I finally struggle to get the vehicle home and pop open the hood to find that the never connected all the spark plug wires back.

Ive experienced excellent service from the crew at Meineke in Nampa. I brought my wifes older SUV in for an oil change. Since the vehicle had just turned over to 100K miles, I asked them to perform an inspection and let me know of any issues that I might want to be aware of. I felt very comfortable with the recommendations that were made - my families safety was their primary concern. I was given a menu of things to consider. The manager took the time to thoroughly explain my options and which were critical vs non-critical. I appreciate the integrity displayed by the staff. I could have easily been bilked into spending thousands of dollars on repairs that I didnt need. Ive been a repeat customer since this experience with oil changes and brake work. Ive been extremely satisfied with the cleanliness of the shop, quality of work and friendly nature of the staff.
