I rented a unit at this facility. I went back recently on Dec 7th, I could not access my unit because the my keys will not open the lock. There were 2 ladies at the front desk. The one named Maria was very helpful, she came up with us, tried the keys and agreed that there was a problem. She said she will call the Manager. The other girl Jamie/Tamie was sooooo rude, she started asking us to fill paperwork and that we need to pay $28.95 for a new lock. We were like, this is not our problem, we actually are inconvenienced because we cannot access our stuff. Maria talked to her manager who said the locks have a warranty so we do not need to pay! I would give 5* for Maria but -10* for Tamie girl. Know your stuff before you talk to the customer! The manager of this facility Kathy is no better. She calls me and argues that she did me a favor by cutting the faulty lock. She was like "I CAME IN THE SNOW AND CUT THE LOCK FOR YOU EVEN THOUGH I"M NOT REQUIRED TO. IT"S A COURTESY" I WOULD NEVER USE THE SERVICES OF PUBLIC STORAGE AGAIN NAD DEFINITELY NOT THIS LOCATION. I WILL NOT RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYONE. I was inconvenienced because of their faulty lock and she does not even have the decency to apologize. They should have given me a credit for December. Cheapos

Its clean, the staff have been nice and the rates are comparable to most places. Its a tricky place to get to and cant seem to find a cart to save my life. They are never at the front door and you have to spend more time hunting one down, than you do unloading your stuff. Never had a storage unit before and this place has been one of the worst experiences of my life. 4 hand carts for the entire place, how ridiculous! Is it possible to keep getting worse, still no hard carts just the other day the elevator stopped working again. Everyone keeps talking how great staff is and its true they are good to a point but why do I have to walk all over to find a cart stashed in the back. Why are they not getting up and moving them to the front for the convenience of the customer, its kind of WHAT I PAY FOR! But no lets just sit behind a desk all day, this place offering convenience as a selling point is a joke.

My wife and I have been to several storage locations along the route 73 corridor north of here, This happens to be the cleanest and best priced storage location we found. Tom the manager is very friendly and can answer any of your storage questions. We never have a problem finding a cart. What we like is that the carts are located right by the entrance to the office. Public restrooms are even available and they are clean! There is also a three car parking over-hang by the entrance. This is nice if the weather is bad. We had an inside 1st floor unit for 6 years. We never saw a roach or rodent. I give this Public Storage 5 stars!

I read some of the other reviews and its pretty unanimous that Tom is a favorite. He is not only friendly but very professional. He has been here the entire time Ive been renting at this location. Another plus about this location is that I honestly feel safe coming here any time of the day or night. At previous places, Ive had issues with the customer service and the high storage rates, but not here! So to sum up my experience with this public storage, the front man Tom is amazing and because of this fine gentleman, I will staying with this location for a while, and I will be recommending this location as well.

I have to repeat what others have said Tom is extremly helpful and even though there is another Public Storage closer to home its worth the extra couple of miles for better service. The place does make you feel safe too my wife has gone there by herself and never felt uncomfortable doing it. Good customer service seems to be a dying art which is why once you find it you tend to stick with the place providing it. We have been renting there for several years and we never have had any issues at all and again as other have said Tom is always available when we need him!!

I had recently moved to the area and when I went to shop around for a clean and well priced storage space I found PUBLIC STORAGE in berlin. Brittany was very helpful in helping me choose a storage unit that would work for me and even saved my day because I had no boxes and she saved me space letting me know that by arranging the unit properly and not just using the floor space I would not have to purchase a larger unit and so I bought boxes and got a perfect size unit for me rather then going somewhere else and being sold space I dont need.

I was helped by Tamara and Alex. They are personable, polite, professional and very helpful. They took the time to explain all the details and that understood them before moving on to the next task. The tour of the facility showed that it was clean, well lit and secure. Tamara made sure the we were comfortable locking and unlocking the storage compartment. She also showed us alternate routes of access to the unit. She also helped us out to the car with the boxes that we purchased. This facility is definitely a five star facility.

This property seems very clean and well maintained. Jazmyn is the best help. She is so kind and makes sure you get what you pay for. All I had to do was tell her what I was storing and she knew off the top of her head what I needed, perfect size! She has the perfect potential to be long term in your company. Jazmyn was also very mindful of my wants and needs to protect my belongings .I wasnt ready just yet to rent my unit because I know I can only hold it for a week , but I most definitely will be back to rent at this facility.

Everytime I go there everyone is always so friendly and helpful. Recently we had fallen a little behind and I wasnt able to pay the late fee right away, how wonderful was it to receive an email from Katherine that they removed the fee as a courtesy. My daughter also uses the facility to store all her military gear and has never had any issue with feeling that everything was perfectly safe. Great customer service, clean facility, friendly staff... what more could you ask for!

The manager at this location (Tom) is one of the best Ive encountered in my years of storage. He always says hi when we walk by the office and is quick to offer tips and advice when asked. This location is kept as tidy as can be and, as a young woman, I never feel uncomfortable entering the building after business hours to go to my unit. I have been at this storage location for over a year, and even after moving a few towns over, I chose to remain at this location. :)

The Pros, the staff is great and the facitliy is clean and workable, the Cons, hidden costs, Public Storage does not indicate in advertising that you must use and pay for their storage unit lock, $21 (one-time cost) and that you must have insurance for the content of your unit, which they sell ($11 to $15 additionally every month), unless to get your own externally provided insurance. Amanda and Kaithlyn were very good Counter Sales Reps.
