I had a problem with the transmission on my 2001 Isuzu and needed to get it replaced. I took the car to Lee Myles and paid $2,700. I got it back a few days later but as I drove it, I felt the car jerking and a very rough ride and the “transmission” light was still flashing. I took the car back and was promised that it would be taken care of. After a week or so I picked it up and it was in the same condition. I went back once more and demanded that it be taken care of properly. I was told that parts needed to be ordered and waited for the car for about another month while still paying insurance for something I wasn’t even using. Now that I have it back, the “transmission” isn’t flashing, but the car not only jerks while driving, it almost does a hiccup every once in a while which makes me uneasy about driving. I also hear noises all throughout the ride as if something inside is moving. All in all, I don’t feel at all that I got my money’s worth by choosing Lee Myles to change my transmission because of the amount of times I was forced to go back to get it right and the fact that it still isn’t satisfactory.

I went to Lee Myles Transmissions/Edison Generator Exchange after my car popped out some codes at the dealership suggesting I needed a new transmission. Terry Lotz came and checked out my car and it popped out the same codes. He told me hed take a better look at it all and drive it around to better check it out (for free) if I took it back another day. I brought it back a few days later and after inspecting it he suggested that nothing needs to be done (right now, at least) and my transmission may even be fine. It certainly garners trust in a business when their answer is not one that brings them money. Ill write another review if I end up getting work done by them on my transmission eventually, but for now my 5 star review is for Terrys wonderful help and honest service. Very impressed.

I dont know how much a new transmission is supposed to cost. Lee Myles charged me $1821 + tax for a new transmission in my 2001 Honda CRV. I havent had any problems since the installation. Lee Myles would not tell me upfront how much it would cost, saying they had to take the transmission apart before they would know. I still dont know whether or not I got ripped off, given what I paid.
