Thought I found my full time mechanic. But the search continues. You go in and if you know a little about cars and suggest what you think is wrong he will only fix what you say and then not even look your car over. I feel like they rush to get a quick turn around. I dont want speedy service. I want thorough service. I want to make sure my vehicle is safe and doesnt need anything. On the Plus side he is honest. He will do only the work that needs to be addressed. His quotes are off. He quotes lower then he charges. He probably just doesnt like me. Makes it very obvious he doesnt like me. Previous reviewer was right when saying he is not friendly. Here is my specific story which I can tell because I will not be returning. My first experience was so so. I felt a little over charged but he fixed only what it needed. So I assumed Im not a regular maybe his prices get lower. My second experience was not good. I brought my wifes car in and that also didnt help the matter of keeping him as a mechanic. Anyway her vehicle is under warranty and the rear axle seal burst and leaked on the rear brakes and rotors. Warranty fixed the leak but the rotors and brakes were contaminated so I brought it to Brian. First I called and asked if the rotors needed to be replaced due to the contamination. He said he will just give them a good cleaning and replace the pads. I said great. He said $130 dollars. Score! found the perfect mechanic right? Wrong. Must have just caught him on a good day. I brought it in reminded his secretary of mine and Brians conversation and left the car. Went to pick it up and he was grumpy. He said he replaced the pads. Didnt clean the rotors like he said he would. Charged me an extra 50 dollars and told me. he wouldnt be responsible for any shaking of the car. Im like were the rotors in bad condition? Then he got snippy and He said he didnt even look. If Im going to tell him how to do his job then he is just going to do what I say and not even look at the car. I was like woah woah. We talked on the phone. You agreed they only needed to be cleaned due to contamination. If they were in bad shape then all you have to do is say and I would have replaced them. No point in putting good.pads on crap rotors. I just figured they needed to be cleaned. Anyway. When my wife heard the story and got charged and extra 50. I was forbidden to ever return. I told her he charged her an extra 50 for cleaning the rotors even though he didnt. Because he didnt even look at them. Like I said, the search continues.
