I have had nothing but headaches with Time Warner. I have the all in one package which is the Phone, Internet and Cable TV. The TV service works ok however, the Scientific Explorer box likes to freeze during channel surfing. Thus making you have to reboot the box and wait 20 minutes for the service to return. Not good when your watching a sporting event and want to change the channel during a commercial. The internet service is by far the worst and most troublesome. I went with Roadrunner Turbo and suffer from constant lag spikes and slow down. This happens during peak hours and slow times. I average between 6 to 8 MB downloads using the speakeasy and other internet speed tests. The amplifier hidden inside of the green box outside in my lawn fried twice in one year leaving me without internet or phone services for 3 days. Which brings me to their tech support. Their tech support is absolutely useless and most of the techs are clueless as to diagnosing problems. About the only thing I can say I havent had a problem with is their phones service. I guess the only thing I can complain about that is their broken english speaking foreign operators you get when you need information. If Verizon is available in your area your in luck!

Im originally from Albany, and where I live TWC does not reach to, which is COMPLETELY fine with me! Last summer when my bf and I moved to Syracuse to be closer to his family we got TWC and he swears by it. Only to have the Internet not reach throughout our entire not even 300 sq. ft. apartment in Syracuse. It was a nightmare forcing us to set up our own modem and not use theirs and pay for the EXTRA charge most people do t realize theyre paying. And again over this past school year we were forced to use TWC in Herkimer in which I paid for the BEST internet and got a half-assed one at that and paid for cable only for it not to be up and running the last 2 months we stayed there (something on their behalf had been turned off and never turned back on again) until we complained a second time within the same month. And they only reimbursed me for two weeks. I hate TWC and would frankly give it 0-1/2 a star if that was an option. Praying that I never have to use it again!

We had their cable for 1 week. There was so many lost connections during my shows that I cancelled it. We have their internet, paying for high speed. It constantly drops and when it does work it switches between 10mbps to 30mpbs randomly (Im paying for 30mbps). I am forced to used their garbage internet because they have a monopoly in my rural area and no other providers are out here. Ive had their garbage service for years now, what prompted me to write a bad review was their random hike in price. Without informing me, they changed my bill from $50 a month to $80 a month. They are greedy and overpriced for their terrible service, and their customer service is the worst. When you finally get through all the answering systems and automated messages, you either get someone overseas you cant understand, or a condescending representative. Thank you Time Warner, thank you for seeing I have no other option and gouging me for an extra $30 a month.

Went in person to speak to a Customer Service Rep regarding my rate increasing by $23 and some change. Rep continually told me there was nothing she could do to lower the rate. The rate I had was an apparent "promo" that expired this month. When I got that rate I was never told it would go up after a year. Then the rep told me I have been a customer since 1984....yes 32 years and asked why I would want to leave.....duh - how about an incentive for a "long time" loyal customer ? Then she basically said if I was unhappy I could call to set up an appointment to have a tech come to my home and remove their equipment.........NICE CUSTOMER SERVICE....come and get your stuff !

Would give no stars if possible. customer service 0 not to mention rate increase every month. Went from 129. to 153. in 3 month without any reason for change. Crystal was her name but, in 25 minutes couldnt give me any reason for increase and refused to lower my bill back to where it was. Personally I would give up TV completely. hope this helps someone else. Im going in person and if I cant lower my bill I plan to file a complaint with the better business bureau.

After 15 minutes of button pushing, finally getting a person in Central America with a strong accent, I hung up after being on hold for awhile. How does one reach an American customer service rep without pressing numerous buttons and/ or talking to a machine?? The reason for the my calling is do I cancel after 37 years of cable? Their sky high rates! TWC offers promotions for new customers at 1/2 the rate of decades long customers!

I like time warner cable but i hate how they dont care for customers. There so quick to disconnect someone if your a little late on one bill but when you need connecting or reconnecting they take forever to do so. I hate going in there asking for an appointment for connecting and they tell me the next day or week. And so late in the day.

Nothing but trouble was a horrible place to work, catty and cliche the only thing the staff cares about is winning prizes by suckering customers into services they dont need so they can make money off it. By far the worst experience of my life. Working there is not even worth the free cable.

Seems like we keep losing channels -- havent seen QVC lately. Nothing indicates disputes with the providers of those channels. Pretty soon basic cable will just be the five basics -- ABC, NBC, CBS, Fox, and PBS -- and the cost per month will remain steady or rise from where it is now.

Shipping address was there address but they saying it should go to different address for delivery. They cant even ship right. Since they changed to spectrum the service and reception is horrible.

Explain a company that gives a deal to someone they dont know will pay a bill but raises the price on loyal customers mon the after month...get your business straight...direct TV has better deals

Returned an adapter because I was charged for it. Clerk didnt look at the adapter but turned off the one I still have. Now I am without service until I can fix this mess.
