If you want great internet service & great customer service, this is not the company for you. Do not, I repeat, do not use this company - they are a joke!! My husband and I have been without service for 7 days now. We have called multiple times & had to wait several days for a technician to come out, meaning my husband had to miss a full days of work. Technician came out Wednesday & we have heard nothing since & STILL DO NOT HAVE SERVICE. I have complained on a previous post and was told to message with my personal info. I did. I received a reply that my public post could not be found to please explain the issue (even though in my private message I gave them my account number - why my issue isnt attached to my account number is beyond me!). So I happily explained the issue via private message. I decided to call again today. Been on the phone with you for over 30 minutes and the call center is telling us that they have no record of our issue or a technician coming to our home. They want us to set up another appointment for the 21st & are expecting us to miss work again for them to come out to our home and rediagnose the problem that has already been diagnosed! Absolutely unacceptable. We have jobs & cannot just take off over your mistake. The 21st of this month will mark the 10th day without service. There is no guanrantee that our internet will be fixed on that day. The only solution your company has given us is $20 off of our bill & asked us to miss work for two days, costing us even more money. WORST RESPONSE YOU COULD GIVE US. This needs to be fixed now. And we will warn everyone to not use your service. Obviously you do not care about customer loyalty or satisfaction. We have been patrons of your company for YEARS. Do not use mediacom!!! They are a joke & I will be filing a complaint with the better business bureau!! They do not deserve to be in business if all they want to do is take your money & not deliver.

Completely unreliable Internet service. I really like most of the local tech guys Ive worked with for years, but Mediacom generally has unreliable service for Internet. As a customer Ive been helping them troubleshoot our areas service for a long time and yet they still havent gotten it right. My service has been mostly down for a week straight as of today (8/22/16). I received 4 voicemails and an email on last Friday to confirm my Saturday appointment. Then the tech didnt show up during the scheduled time (8:00 am - 8:30 am). I could go on and on about my troubles over the years.

i wish there was a negative star option. if you have a choice do not choose Mediacom. several years now and still bad internet service .6Mb/s to 19 Mb/s is the average download speed for me and everyone on my street. lots of buffering. they just buried a new drop to my house an hour ago because someone from Mediacom came out and said it may help. Well it didnt surprise!! i have spent so much time on the phone with customer service i should be on the payroll. Camden NC

I would have to agree with other reviews. Ive had Mediacom for about a year. Since transferring service I have had approximately 1-2 months of non-functioning service. Unfortunately, there is not a good option out here yet. Century link is TERRIBLE in every way, speed is non existent. At least with Mediocre com they have decent speeds. When the internet actually works.

Horrible customer service. I have never had so many problems with any company I have ever worked with. The service is out again. Extremely expensive. My bill right now is 250 and I have the cheapest cable tv option and internet.
