Somehow in the inbred North Country these people get away with being the only non-wireless company that services my address. Basically it is all ran from generations of inbreeding, that being said they dont have to provide customer service and can charge whatever they want for the worst service both in what they offer and customer satisfaction. Today one of my contractors accidentally snipped the cable coming into the house. I called to explain what happened and they responded not with compassion and understanding but with, "if you want it fixed tonight it will be time and a half, if you wait till tomorrow it will be at regular rate of 70.00 an hour." Basically I told them to shove it up their a..! I will find out why this company has a monopoly in this area. At one time leaders of all industries vacationed in this area, what has become of its inhabitants since would make the intellectual leaders turn in their graves. One good thing, if anyone was to study the effects of inbreeding on society lot of specimen here!! Yes this provider SUCKS avoid at all costs!!
There cable box cords are total CRAP and keep stop working, we have 4 boxes and have needed 3 replacement electric cords. The last replacement cord plug was so large it wouldnt fit behind our wall mounted television. There hours of operation are totally inconvenient for anyone with a job. Its a joke to say come down to our office, when they are not open long enough to make it there to fix any problems. Their solution customer pay to have the cord mailed to them and they will wait until they get it to mail you a new one. So their crap breaks down you suck the cost and then pay for cable you can not have since their stuff broke down. Lets not get me started on the slower than death internet, when you can tell its peak usage time. Soooo feed up!
Absolute worst customer service out there. Have had many more days of no service than service. Asked Jennifer for credit and was told to wait and see what the problem. After the technician came 5 times with no solution, we have established that there is no answer to the internet being dead the vast majority of the time. Whereas XFINITY which is what I have at my primary address, will gladly give you credit immediately knowing that it is important to keep the customer satisfied. Jennifer has asked me numerous questions about the dead internet implying that it is something I am doing on my end. The tv service is analog and resembles the service back in the fifties. Stear clear of this inept company with the completely rude Jennifer.
Caste cable charged me 65 dollars to reconnect my service after returning from a deployment to Afghanistan as an installation fee even though everything was already installed and just needed to be activated. They even had me go into the router and change the settings myself. They told me that the person who disconnected my service should have done it temporarily but didnt and still didnt refund me my money. Welcome home to me i guess
Refused to run my card so I could get my bill paid, eventually shut me off, but gladly cashed my check of back amount due. I also sent a note w the check asking why. Instead of an answer, theyre threatening me with court for more money I supposedly owe. I have proof of how I tried to pay repeatedly and your refusal to cooperate, good luck. Take your stuff back, I will make sure you never get services from me or anyone I know again.
I know there have been some bad posts..I just wanted to say that I just paid my bill over the phone with a debit card and have not had one interruption since I started in January. The Internet we have is super fast and our family have all been on it without problems.
Should be less than 1 star review. Between 6pm and midnight packet loss is 10-20% and the jitter is 60ms. They are over-subscribed. If you need voip and/or are a gamer this service is not for you.
The WiFi works awesome we can run alot of devices off of it at one time.
