I just spent an hour on the phone with Cox representatives. I originally called because I paid my bill 2 weeks early ($511) and then I was charged for the same bill again yesterday. That is a lot of money to make a mistake with. So, I called and got connected with the Billing Department. I explained the situation and she said I needed to talk to the Finance Department so she transferred the call. It rang a few times and then I got hung up on. I called back. The new representative filled out a refund request form for me and "transferred me" to the refund department, this line rang back to the Billing Department. So the new representative transferred me again to this mysterious Finance Department. The representative that answered was in the Collections Department and this one explained to me that there is no Finance/refund Department that I could actually talk to someone in. I had to wait 48 HOURS to find out if my refund request was even Approved and then I would have to wait several MORE business days to get my $500+ back!!! That is a LOT of money especially around the holidays. I dont appreciate getting transferred all around to Departments that dont even exist and come to find out I have to REQUEST my own money back even though I thought I was doing the right thing by paying my bill early, COX decided to steal my money and charge me again. If I could cancel my account today I would. I pay a lot of money for a service that is just average and nothing spectacular. OVER IT!

Visited here recently to get a replacement router. Very clean and comfy atmosphere with friendly, energetic and helpful staff. They didnt have the router I needed to maximize my internet service, so they gave me a temp unit. Rep said shed call me back and let me know when the unit I needed was in, but I knew better. Ive been Cox customer for two decades and theyve never delivered on the courtesy call promises they dole out so often. I understand you have to pacify people sometimes (even though I was perfectly content with the compromise), but seriously, dont lie. The unit I needed came in later that day and I visited the day after toy and swap the old unit because I never got a call (shocker). They gave me a used ARRIS Touchstone TG2472 that was not reset to factory before giving it to me. It took about an hour to troubleshoot with tech support (WiFi was turned off and previous owners setup was still in effect), but overall, everything works in time to stream the World Series and Im happy. Hard not to be when Cox has a monopoly on ISP where I live.

I went in to drop off my modem. No big right? He put me in the system and I waited. 30 minutes passed and my name still hadnt appeared on the screen. I asked the security guard /director to confirm. He said yes I was behind all of those people (10 of them) I explained I was active duty and pcsing that night and I couldnt wait much longer. This guy wouldnt budge. So I asked to speak to the manager. I explained myself with all the respect I could gather. And after a world of being all huffy puffy with me, she finally said she would take it. But I wouldnt get a receipt. I understand they have to check you in to return something, but the wait was absolutely atrocious. I mean in 30 minutes, 2 people got called. I would have dropped it off a day earlier if I had known about the wait times. Be forewarned, for drop off , you must wait.

Come here and wait for one hour or two. I am trying to return a modem that COX tech leave in my home ( I have my own modem plugged in and ready to go). I failed three times. First time, the person takes the item, but he doesnt put in the system. Second time, the person takes my receipt and leaves the modem inside my bill. Third time, this person says call cox. I waste hours of my time. I have to pay for this modem twice. Unacceptable business. RECOMMEND: it is best if you come on last minute because they will work faster to go home.

Ive already been waiting a half an hour and there are still six people ahead of me in line. Abysmal service. The staff that is here just wanders around and doesnt assist customers. One guy stands at the door to check people in but then does nothing else as the line grows. A woman I assume is the manager wanders around, replacing signage, promises benches packed with waiting customers that someone will see them soon, and then disappears in the back. Go anywhere else but here. Glad to be done with Cox!

Cox Communications as a whole is terrible..had there service for about three years. Multiple problems and there customer service is garbage. The most recent event being me receiving a letter in the mail from collections stating Cox never received my cable box. I turned the box into this store and have cancelled my account and moved out of state. Absolute terrible experience all around with Cox and will NEVER recommend them or use there service again.

Ive had nothing but issues with this cox store. Theyre extremely incompetent and straight up lied to me to try and get me to pay $50 a month for cable. I would switch to any other provider if I could, but unfortunately my apartment doesnt face the right way. I hate going here. Also, my internet ALWAYS drops out. As in I have to go in a reset the modem. I could never get an explanation out of them.

The employees are great. You are greeted with an opening door by one of the employees who will help direct you to the right place. The place is usually busy, so there is a wait time, but you can watch TV, enjoy the music, or browser the new products on display while you wait. The place is always neat and clean. It you are paying your bill, you can use the automatic teller to save you some time.

First time I came in was told 45mins that was an absolute NO. Second time was told 15-20 mins so I decided to wait it out. As I was waiting 3 solutions specialist are talking with a customer cracking jokes and laughing while at least 12 people were waiting. If Verizon was in my area this would not be an issue, but I have to settle for this BS.

So Cox is going all digital, and Im forced to get a mini box. What a joke/disaster/headache. 12 days of using this piece of junk, and not 1 day without an issue or problem. The tech support guy said "yeah, its new technology and theyre still working out the kinks." Say what?! Thanks ever so much for the sub-par service, Cox.

Totally screwed up my contour order. Lied about making me aware of charges. Technicians making unnecessary trips and wasting my time and their contractors dont know what they are doing. The worst and thats all that we have in our area! I will be happy the day that we are rid of them!
