Ive had TWC for TV, phone, and Internet for several years and I have been unhappy with the TV service for some time. So we had DirecTV installed two days ago and I called this morning to disconnect the cable TV and the phone service as we have cell phones and really dont need the land line. Well. I spent FORTY-FIVE MINUTES on the phone with some drone who apparently was trained NEVER to allow a customer to disconnect his/her service. This guy put me on hold FOUR TIMES and each time came back with a "cheaper package;" then after I told him not to put me on hold again he punched a few things into his computer and after a pause he had the nerve to quote me YET ANOTHER PACKAGE. At which point I just said "Oh, my God, you are impossible. I am DONE." and I hung up. Now it looks like well have to try to do this in person when we return the boxes and remotes. At one point I was getting really abrupt with the guy and he said "Im just trying to do my job" so I replied, "Well if doing your job includes trying to sell someone something after theyve made it clear they dont want it your training sucks." After this experience I almost wish I was not keeping TWC for Internet service but even the DirecTV guy told us that TWC is the best for that.

I had a contracted technician come to set up internet only. When he couldnt find a signal to the road, he ran a cable from the main house to the rental to which I was assured that the cable would be buried by someone else who would be "right behind him that afternoon" That was May 23rd and now just shy of a month later and with having placed no less than 7 calls to remedy the 100 foot exposed cable across the driveway, the cable is still laying there. The responses and promises made seem to be scripted and questioning the script is met with more canned responses, attempted redirects with supposed job numbers, and (in the most recent case with a rep who haled from some call center in Minnesota) rudeness; when his "explanations" didnt hold water. With no resolution to date, I expect to be calling back and wasting more time chasing quality of service which in any other business would be thought of as a reasonable expectation.

Called Time Warner Cable because over half of the channels were not coming in, kept getting a notice saying the channel was unavailable at this time, try again later. Well later never came. So called TWC and after answering all the automated answers was finally transfered to a human. She was very helpful and answered all of my questions quickly. She acknowledged that I needed a new cable box because mine was extremely old. Set up an appointment to have a tech at my house the very next day. Tech showed up right on schedule, changed out my cable box and modem and answered any question I had for him. Excellent service, friendly and very professional. With this new cable box, all my channels are more crisp and clearer but most importantly....they are there and not missing anymore. Thank you Time Warner Cable!!!

I had to do an account assumption this morning and that process takes a little while and needs to be done in person. Phil from Oneonta, NY was extremely helpful and nice. He even showed amazing restraint and customer service when an irate female customer was impatient about having to wait in line. She shoved me aside to grab business cards off his desk, while yelling at him and being rude. She didnt understand why he wouldnt stop in the middle of helping me so she could drop off her equipment and get a receipt. He was much nicer than I would have been and showed his experience with customer service. She was rude, obstinate and very nasty. I applaud Phil and the Oneonta office for showing patience. Thank you for all your help!

My family pays a lot of money for cable, phone, and internet. However our services havent been working for a month now and whenever we make appointments for a tech to come to our residential address where we are supposed to receive our said services they never show up. Ive spoken with numerous employees and a supervisor about our ongoing issue but they tell me they cant get a tech to come without an appointment when I tell them that we had an appointment they say "theres nothing we can do," then proceed to give me yet another appointment date that the tech never comes to. This has happened 4 times and Ive gone an entire month without these services because of this issue that shouldve been resolved WEEKS ago.

This is my 4th call today to request repair service for our internet. The customer service folks cant find my account, even after they ask me to repeat my address and zip code 5 times. When I said that I should cancel my service if they dont have an account for me, they find the account. I now have a service appointment scheduled, but they told me that if I dont answer the technicians phone call on his way to our house, they will cancel the appointment, even though my husband or I will have to take half a day off from work to meet the technician at our house. The technicians call will be identified as an unknown caller. Competition for TWC cannot come to our area soon enough.

Never had a problem with time warner and I have had them for internet and phone for more than 25 years. They have always treated me well and been professional and courteous. The technicians have been excellent and have never missed any appointment. I never have a problem reaching a human and I have yet to talk to a rude or disrespectful rep. I am always surprised by the negative reviews because my experience is quite different. Years ago the TV service was crap where I live, but they have fixed that. Yes, they are expensive but for the service I get from them I dont care.

Technician, Ed Grace, came this morning right on time and hooked up a new cable box and programmed the remote for my new TV. Existing cable box was very old. When he did some checking, he saw that the grounding I had had not been done to present standards so he called in another tech to assist. They were both very efficient, and did an excellent job. I cant say enough positive about how they performed their job here. Dont know the other techs name but I would like to thank them both for their promptness, expertise, courteousness and efficiency.

After having TWC Internet for 2 months. I hate the customer service. Since getting the internet, I have had to call in for issues 4 times. Then today, I came home from work and the internet was cut off. I called into the office and after 30 minutes they got someone to come out and fix the issue. The tech had setup our neighbors service and had unhooked ours. He fixed it and fix the wiring that was not installed correctly to begin with. The tech was very helpful. Most of the time when I call in it takes 1-2 hours and the reps are not very helpful.

Several of my neighbors and friends call Time Warner all the time to get on another promotional rate and they have been doing this for years. One person pays 50.00 less than I do including all the taxes. When I call, they give me the run around and just about call me a liar when I tell them of others getting a cheaper rate. Of course new customers get a really cheap rate but what about us customers who have been with Time Warner for 30 years. Shame on Time Warner, they should be rewarding their loyal customers.
