WARNING: If I could give this place a negative 4 stars, THAT would be considered far too many stars. I always have a problem with this post office. They are rude, never greet their customers, always have a look on their faces as if they are being forced to work there, and to make matters worse, they lie about attempting to deliver. I was suppose to receive a 2 day shipping package from Amazon Prime and as the day went by I noticed that it was taking the post office longer than usual to deliver. I go on my Amazon Prime account to check the status of the delivery for my package and it was updated, by this post office, as "Delivery Attempted" and that supposedly they left a notice. I was at home and awake at the time that they claim to have "attempted" to deliver my package. I heard no knock at all and I have a small place so I should be deaf to not hear someone knocking. I go to check my mailbox and there was no notice their either. I called the post office and the lady that picked up said that she doesnt know why that would happen and she was acting like it was no big deal. She told me that I should just go take the tracking number the next day and pick up my package myself. She said that she doesnt even work at this site, which sounds like a load of crap. The point of 2 day shipping is to get your package in 2 days and delivered at your door. If I wanted to pick up this package I would of gone to the department store and bought this item. This is not the first time this happens. This has happened 4 times in the past 6 months. This post office ABSOLUTELY makes me to NEVER want to order anything for delivery. I wish I had the option to change this post office to a different one. But unfortunately, this is not a option and I feel stuck with TERRIBLE service for as long as I live in this area. This post office needs an emergency sweep. Most of their employee should either receive customer service and work etiquette training or change the staff altogether or better yet, just close it down! They get paid to do a horrible horrible horrible HORRIBLE job without no consequences. They really have ZERO care for their treatment of their customers and have continued with their terrible service for as long as Ive lived in the area (8 years.) I have never EVER witnessed a staff member actually conducting themselves with courteous customer service. I warn everyone that has the unfortunate task of dealing with these people. WARNING!!! P.S. Yesterday, as I pulled up to a red light around my area (57th Ave & 99th St) I witnessed the USPS delivery mini van pulled over with police cars parked behind it. The police arrested the USPS delivery driver for driving intoxicated and was taken awake in handcuffs. -This is VERY self explanatory as to how this place conduct themselves. WE NEED A CHANGE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Terrible service!! The african american male employee entered the wrong tracking number so he told me he cant find anything about my package in the system and refused to serve me. He was unable to communicate with. I tried to tell him that I actually can track the number on usps website, and he must entered something wrong. He had no intention to listen to what i were saying, he just insisted that he entered the right number because he entered the "0" in the right way since it looked like a "U" on the pickup notice. But, man, did you notice that there are other numbers there!? You mustve entered other numbers wrong! Even though the writing looks a little bit unclear but I can tell you the right numbers so that you can give me the right information about my package!! Is it that hard to understand!? This is incredible ignorant! He was very aggressive, rude and looked angry for no reason. I have several packages need to be delivered and I want to pick one of them. He just refuse to communicate and refuse to serve me because he dont know how to get his job done. Usps really should not hire someone like this. Try not to use their service if this kind of service still existed.

Beyond incompetent! The most inept post office in the NY metropolitan area. They never leave notices when they claim delivery attempts are made. In fact I have been home on the days they claim delivery attempts were made and never received a notice. On another occasion, my package from Amazon never arrived. After making a claims inquiry, it took 3 weeks for an agent to call me back, only to inform me that the package was stolen and they think it was an internal theft because several other packages were also missing in my area. If you make a complaint about them with the main headquarters, just make sure you also make one with CONSUMER AFFAIRS. Such complaints carry greater consequences than with a sole complaint to USPS. These people at the Junction Blvd location have no business staying employed and getting paid. There are many others who would appreciate jobs like this and would act much more responsibly and ethically. I am telling Amazon not to use USPS. Hopefully it will be taken over by a private business soon. I dont see their life expectancy lasting that long with such a despicable track record.

So I paid for 2 day shipping and I still havent received my package. Its been five days! I was home the whole day yesterday and did not hear any knocks nor bell rings. I got an email saying a notice have been left on my door but when I looked outside, it was never there. I literally walked from my house to the post office to pick up my package (30 min walk), but when I arrived, an African American woman gave me an attitude when I asked her questions and was acting like she didnt want to be there. She told me to come the next day, which is today, so I planned to go there at 12pm. I woke up this morning at 7am and got an email saying another notice have been posted on my door as "no body" was home, which is truly not true. It said it has the redelivery date and when I can pick the item up in the post office. When I checked to see if the notice was there again, it was not there! Right now Im trying to call their office to ask when I can pick up my package but they are not picking up any of my calls. This is the worst post office in the world! I do not recommend it!

The mail delivery out of this Post Office is dismal. Whenever our regular mail person is out - whether for Sick/Leave, vacation, etc. - we are saddled with a substitute who delivers the mail in the evening (after 8:00PM) - leaves the mail strewn about in the mailbox alcove and NOT in the mailboxes - leaves mail for the building across the street (at 99-35 59th Avenue and NOT at our address, 99-30 59th Avenue) - that myself and neighbors hand deliver ourselves to the correct address. My monthly bank statement for June was NOT delivered to me this month - and God knows who now has my personal banking information and account number!! The dismal service from this Post Office is beyond incompetent - its downright criminal! Those accountable for this disaster should be terminated and this Post office should be closed until professionally trained and competent people are hired to handle this critically important service to our community.
