I dont even know how to describe the lack of care and respect in 6060 myrtle avenue post office that I endured today. I walk in at 9:30 am where there are 22 people in line waiting with their pink slips to pick up packages. While I waited patiently for the first 20 minutes, I could feel the anger brewing from people that had waited far longer than I did. I went into the other half of the post office where you purchase stamps and send packages, it was completely empty with customers. What I found where three clerks. One chewing gum literally like a teenager, another filing her nails. Filing her nails! The other chatting to the woman filing her nails. I asked for the Station Manager and the response was hes busy. I asked again more sternly for the Station Manger and explained that there were 20 something people waiting and the clerk could use some help. She started to rudely explain that there were already two people there and she wasnt allowed to help. Again I asked for the Station Manger. I went back into line and waiting another 15 minutes. Someone else asked for the Station Manager and was rudely turned away. I went again to the counter and asked for the Station Manger and she said, I already told him and Im not going again. I waited in line for 43 minutes and the Station Manager never came out and there was never a second clerk helping. The other part of the post office selling stamps and sending packages never filled with more than 2 guest which left the 3 clerk just sitting smacking her gum. This is the rudest group of government employees I have ever seen and it infuriates me that they get full Federal Benefits.

Ridiculous. I have a package that was "out for delivery" LAST WEEK and now no one can tell me where it is! I have yet to receive it and when looking up its tracking information, the last two updates just say "out for delivery" and then "delivery status not updated". Nothing to say a delivery attempt was made, no re-delivery slip, nothing. I tried calling this office, seeing as this is where my package initially arrived to, and the person I spoke to couldnt even give me an answer as to the status of my package. He asked me a series of obvious questions and then told me he did not see my package there. Comforting. If you dont know where it is, then I sure dont. Now every single time I try to call again, the line is busy or no one picks up and Ive called about 30 times in the last 2 days. I had to then contact the general USPS customer service to make an investigation inquiry. I have no problem waiting for mail but to not have ANY idea on the status or location of my package for something I paid for, is just ridiculous and unfair. I never write reviews or do things like this but this really is so unfair and something needs to be done. Judging by the other comments, its clear that this is just the norm for this usps location. When you have this many terrible reviews, action should follow to help change that. We deserve better.

I went to Myrtle Ave post office with my packages (labels printed onlie from ebay) asking about scanning. I was refused by clerk so I asked about manager. He was so unprofessional, rude, not willing to talk to me at all. I told him about the issue and he said he can give me a number to call and start a customer claim. I told him that I did it already and he said "I cant do anything for you". Then he called next customer. I told him I didnt finish the conversation yet, then he gave me a rude look. So I have a question, I print out sticker with the tracking number using my ebay account, I drop off my package, it is not scanned in local facility, then tracking doesnt show online. Package is sent but lost, no tracking, nothing. Who is responsible for that lost package? I cant even proof that it was sent because clerks dont want to scan the package. I believe that every supervisor has his own rules because in different facilities in NYC clerks do scan all packages. If the system doesnt work out, change the system! If you have bunch of unhappy and unsatisfied customers it means something. And if you are getting paid please do your job!!!

This place sucks!!! Why the hell they have phone and dont pick up??? Ive called like a billion times. Several of my packages Are saying undeliverable address when in fact Ive called usps customer service and have had it deemed deliverable to my address. Also i dont know who is my carrier but i dont believe they are doing their job theyre also telling me that my packages arent deliverable because its not deemed a safe area to keep it. How in the hell??? Ive had a plenty of packages delivered to my address and they have the audacity to tell me these ridiculous things!! I even caught an uber(wasting my money) there to retrieve my packages and they tell me they cant find my stuff smh. I wish i didnt have to deal with them but the only way to do that is to stop ordering online which isnt fair to me!! Someone needs to be held accountable and i will be contacting higher authority!!

I come to this post office every month for my mom and its so hard to find parking in the afternoon so after I drop my daughter off from school at 7:45am to go straight to the post office and wait till 9am when they open and then I pay the meter so 3 workers at the window tell me that they cant charge me on my debit card once when I requested a money order and certified return receipt. They said it has to be two separate charges. Now why do I have to go to the bank and then cash money out when I can use my debit card. Those people dont want to work. They give everyone that walks in there such a hard time so they dont come back and the post office stays slow all day long for them to stay doing nothing but hanging out and gossiping about everyone that works there. What a waste.

Wow: I am at home all day monitoring my tracking for a very expensive package and all of the sudden I noticed that the delivery response went from "Out for Delivery" to "Notice Left (No secure Location Available)". No one rang my bell and I am quite sure that the person did not even pass by to deliver. Probably hanging and smoking marijuana or whatever. Now I have to go to the Post Office to pick up my package. So, I was home all day, took a day off, and for nothing! Here goes another day. BTW. I had packages delivered to my location belonging to other residents and the land lady had to take it with her. This happens all the time. What a shame! Hard to believe that the Post Master is not doing anything to correct these issues.

It being there worse customer service I have ever experienced. They dont let you finish talking, they are rude and if you tell them that your pkgs are missing and stolen they just said out "sorry" drivers are constantly leaving my package outside my house for others to take. They dont care about your business with the postal service. If you asked them to keep your pkgs at the office for me to pick up since drivers dont care if the pkgs are missing or stolen and their answers will be "write a note and put it outside the door to not leave them outside" my neighborhood is "safe" but thieves are everywhere and dont respect anything. Dont ever do business with them unless you put a signature request at the your pkgs
