Dont you even dare go to this place. Try your best to avoid. I didnt believe all these bad reviews first but this office really does suck. First of all the deliver man never press the bell or make any contact to you. They dont deliver packages on the day i requested for redelivery and they just come on random days and miss me so i had to pick it up myself. A chinese woman wearing glasses is always frowning at all the customers and extremely rude. She doesnt know how to speak english and she doesnt conduct what shes supposed to do. She said that they dont have my package cuz i requested redelivery too many times, and she literally said that I SCREWED EVERYTHING UP. But when i requested it, it never came and thats why i went to pick up and it was long time ago. She told me to come back next week. I was so confused that i talked to another african american woman and after she checked it turned out that the PACKAGE WAS THERE. When the african american woman asked her if she checked correctly she just kept saying idk. And it was only 2 days left before they resend to the sender so if i had gone there next week i wouldnt have bn able to pick that up and it would have bn resent to Korea. I was so pissed even tho i tend to be nice to any stores any employee her attitude was so dissappointing and i feel so bad about paying tax for those government employees who dont do their job.

This place is HORRIBLE! This post office needs a new manager because every person that I have dealt with needs a new prospective on why they still have their job. The workers need to go through training again and learn how to treat their customers and actually learn the correct ways of doing a transaction. I purchase a label online with tracking and paid extra for signature requirement upon delivery. When I dropped it off, the petite Korean lady rejected to scan the package in and when I asked why. She replied "because this label was purchased online, you dont get to receive the customer service like the other people on line" Now I wouldnt be complaining if other post office did this but NO. Whitestone and Flushing post office scans the packages in without me having to even ask them to. I also wouldnt be complaining and writing a negative review if my package was actually delivered. After 3 days from dropping my package off, the tracking number still states that the item was never scanned. So for all I know, my receiver could have received the package and said that they didnt because the tracking number dont work. It defeats the purpose of having a tracking number! This isnt the first time that this has happened.

I dont work for the USPS nor am I associated in anyway to the USPS. Ive lived in the neighborhood for over ten years. I believe that this Linden Hill Post Office is a pillar to the community. We have a lot of senior citizens and recent immigrants who rely on the Postal Service for their needs. Its a shame to see so many complaining about this particular branch. Of course Ive experienced the long wait at the line or maybe even some of the confusion. But thats not without reason. There has been a lack of funding provided to this post office or not enough staff to help manage customers. The people at the Post Office, I imagine deal with all sorts of problems. From people whom they cant communicate with due to language barrier to people who are forgetful or just fickle. Theres also a lot of mail and package that goes through these post offices too. Whenever I visit this branch, I put a smile on my face and be as polite as I can. Because these are the people that handle my mail every morning for 365 days of the year and they bring it to me without fail. So be nice to your mail person.

Omg, this place is terribly making you in awe. But pay attention to it, it doesnt carry complimentary semantics. You can easily get it by the star i gave. I wish there was negative star that applies. The Asian lady by the entry window behaves like mother Tiger with completely broken English and extremely strong accents. She speaks in a way that totally condescending and freezingly cold definitely like you owed her millions of dollars without returns for centuries.Her animosity towards kindly smiled customers is undoubtedly body assault. I feel no way else but insulted. Cant believe this is really happened in this community. I noticed that usps posted a piece of paper on the entry window where the lady serves read like something of sales in training. No wonder these reviews complains. I see tons of people unemployed fit here better than her.

It is the worst post office I have ever been to in the world!!!Such stupid staff and manager!The Korean ladies are so rude and definitely impolite!Their faces look like donkey,They delivered twice to my friends home but still didnt make it!I went there to pick up today and they said my ID address doesnt match the shipping address of my friends!Such bullshit!What should I say?!I dont live there how could I make the address match!!Even I have all the information and details about my package in my email,they still didnt give it to me.It was my worst experience and I wish I had never been there!

I paid extra to have things mailed out with priority and the service is Horrible. Went on Monday to pick up my item after they claimed that they attempted to deliver on Saturday but my "receptical was blocked and left a notice" which is not the case because I was outside shoveling snow since 8 am. On Monday I was told its out for delivery. Its now Wednesday still no item and tracking hasnt even been updated. I live less than a mile from this post office. There is no reason why it is now Wednesday and I still have to get my item.

The Chinese lady wearing glasses in service standing by the window must be fired. She doesnt know how to speak English. I wonder how she found herself in this place. Not enough, She really doesnt know how to serve customers. She is frowning at everyone with vulgar language, She is no better than dead corpses. Because dead ones dont offend people. She is like super boss in charge, uh... , the tone she utters is more like you are POWs, prisoners of the war, for her information, i should say. Be cautious about her. Keep safe!

I had a very unpleasant experience today. My package failed to be delivered because of an unknown reason, so I printed out the tracking number and went to pick up. The black woman who was in charge of me demanded a matching address with the pickup address. I put the package address in the office. Oh my god!!! Should the office address and the ID address be the same? She just said the next customer. I was so absurd. She was so rude and ignorant. I explained the situation to another employee and asked for my package.

After reading these reviews I was almost afraid to walk in to this Post Office. I went at 10 AM on a Thursday. I parked in the parking lot and went in. There were only 2 people ahead of me. I was taken care of by a man named Christopher Brown. I had no idea what I was doing and he took the time and had patience to explain my options. He was friendly and had a very nice smile. I told his manager how pleased I was with his service. They only reason I didnt give 5 stars is because it is not very clean in there.
