if i had an option to write a negative review, i would!! Worst Service Center Ever!!! dropped off my car because the Serpentine belt popped. The Manager Ali, told me they wont be able to look at it until an hr and a half to 2 hrs, so I said ok. i called back at 10:35am and Spoke to him again and he said they 1 mechanic he has that can work on BMWs just got here and he will pull in the car now. I went over at 11:30 to find out whats going on and i see the car still sitting where I left it, so i gave him the benefit of the doubt. I asked is the car ready and then he replies to me that its not and that the guy is working on it. I was pretty upset and raised my voice asking him if he thinks im an idiot, and that the car is still sitting where i left it and if the Mechanic was pulling it in at 10:35 and that was the only car he gave him to work on ( he said it was the only car he gave him) how could it still be sitting there and if he is the manager, how come he dont know what this guy was doing for an hour!! he tried every excuse in the book but i told him to just get my car fixed and get me out of here. the problem its not only this ! manager, it the others too because I work right across the street and when i have no time to work on my car myself i bring it to them while i work. so its a company issue that they are not instructing theyre managers to stress the importance if efficiency!! I have been Burnt every time I bring one of the company vehicles or my personal car and believe me its about 8 different vehicle Ive been bring there but i think they pushed me to the edge now i will go to the local repair shop next door from now on!!!!

Im a pretty easy going guy, and I respect an honest company. However I have to say that this was my first and quite possibly my last experience with Pep Boys. I brought my minivan to get looked at because it was overheating and losing engine coolant. I knew that it had an issue with the cooling fan (most likely a relay, which is $58) however as I was out of town I had no way of fixing it myself so I took it for them to look at, expecting theyd diagnose the relay problem and send me on my way. They called me back and told me I needed a new radiator. I told them no thanks. Picked up my minivan and drove it away only for stream to start pouring out my car. They left the radiator cap off my vehicle! Who does this? Dont they have a checklist or something to make sure simple mistakes dont happen? Anyway I purchased a relay for the cooling fan at a local autozone and found a guy that swapped it out for me for $70. From $968 to $120 and my radiator is fine by the way. No thanks Pep Boys. Try some other fool.

I remember when I had to go here for me car to be fix and let me tell you the service is really really bad. NO respect from the employees, NO updates of how your car was doing and how long it will take for the job to be finish. This place is so bad that after I return there three times in two weeks for one job I receive a phone call from some type of government (let me just say dont want to be to direct) but they ask me questions about did this place double charge me and they are under investgation about double charging people and they also ask me Did I have to take me car back for a different reason other than the orginal reason why I brought my car there in the first place and the question I ask them was how did you know. I know Money talks but to me the best place to have your car repair is located in Westbury on Merrick Road (FireStone) They are expensive but like anything else you get what you pay for.

I would go "out of my way" to avoid this location. I have visited this location a few times and I finally realized that this location is perpetually under stocked, dirty and the staff is lazy, vulgar and crude. The last and final time I was in the store checking out the male cashier was attempting to change his shirt while talking on his cell phone. The only thing he wasnt doing was focusing on the customers. He also found it necessary to continually drop the "F" bomb while he was on the cell phone. I worked in retail when I was his age and I would have been reprimanded of fired for such a lack of civility and lack of attention to the paying customer. Pep Boys should either close this location or seriously re-educate or replace its staff.

KNOWLEDGEABLE,RELIABLE AND FRIENDLY STAFF. i stopped by at this location to have my suspension looked at since I was chasing this incessant noise since summer.I had 2 mechanics look at it and could not figure it out. While explaining the noise to the service manager "smiley" (which I think is unprofessional to have as a name when its a nickname) He suggested what parts may have to be changed without looking at the vehicle and when the mechanics looked at it it turned out to be exactly what "smiley " Suggested. So then with fingers crossed i told them to go ahead and change the parts. So after they were done the noise is no longer there!! i was EXTREMELY happy and they should be pleased to know id definitely be a returning customer.

Now, I have to agree with all that reviewer Jeffery stated. They are rude, unprofessional, and extremely lazy. They do not deserve their pay at all. Say hello, or good day to them, you get nothing back. They seem irritated to help you, they just want to get back to their dumb banter and giggle like schoolgirls. Idiots about car stuff, really... just try asking them a question. "Umm...uhhh... um man, I dunno...shieet." Unfortunately, I work close to this location and use them just for cleaning products and oil. Pep boys should really consider hiring professional and knowledgeable people to replace these ignorant slackers. Disgrace. Go to any Advance Auto Parts.

Taking the time to write this review because of the truly exceptional service I was provided. Admittedly, I dont have too much experience with auto service but as far as customer service goes I am grateful to have dealt with Frank at this location. He was knowledgeable and refreshingly honest. I paid half of what I was originally quoted for the work, and can sincerely say he went above and beyond to represent Pep Boys well. Your determination to meet the clients need is appreciated Frank! I will definitely continue to visit this location for future services.

Went there at 9am on a Monday morning without an appointment. There were 3 cars ahead of me (maybe being worked on already). I was out of there in about one hour with a synthetic oil change at a much better price than at the dealership. Just a hint for all customers: If your service package states that it comes with a free tire rotation, remember that you typically have to ask for it otherwise it will not be done (Pretty much true for all service stations). Would definitely come back here again.
