What a SCAM. Website had online offer $1 a month with 30 day reservation which I made Oct.2 for Oct. 27. Somehow the reservation changed on the website to Oct. 2. The reservation was $1 first month, then $225 for 1st floor climate controlled 10 x 10. When I called to be able to look at the available units, I learned the reservation didnt hold the promotion so the new promotion was $164 (yes almost a $50 a month cost reduction) and 50% off the first month. I found a suitable 10 x 15 for $178, for a 7 day "reservation", but was told by Orlando that if someone came in during the week, it was first come-first serve and they wouldnt hold the unit for a week. I get my "reminder" and the price of the unit is now $188. The "reservation" means nothing. You get what you get when you show up for whatever price they decide to charge you that day. I found Jaime and Orlando condescending and not willing to honor anything, so Extra-Space in Port Washington with a month free is getting my business. The people there were nice, they held the price, the promotion and the unit for a week with no "bait and switch."

My husband and I needed to store our furniture after selling our apartment and waiting to close on our new house, so we were looking for a reliable, local and secure option in Long Island. The staff of Public Storage in Port Washington offer impressive customer service. When we walked into Public Storage ten minutes before closing on a Saturday to inquire about renting a unit, we were greeted with a smile. Their truly professional nature has made our experience beyond pleasant. The facilities are in excellent shape. After purchasing supplies we thought we needed for our move, we found we didnt need quite as many boxes as we thought. Even though it was past the return date on the receipt, they kindly accommodated our wishes to return the unneeded supplies without a hassle. If youre looking for temporary storage solution that will leave you confident youre belongings are in good hands, you wont have any regrets calling Public Storage of Port Washington.

We recently stopped by to straighten out a problem we were having with not getting emails notices from your company. The guys at the front desk were very friendly and quickly figured out what was wrong (the email address had a typo). (And BTW, we had tried to straighten out this issue 2 years ago and although we were promised that our address would be changed, it wasnt) They corrected the listing and we had an email waiting for us as soon as we got home. We also had them go through a big bunch of keys because we had lost track of which one was the one for our PS lock. Im not sure who was who but Kenny, Ryan & Jerry were all just great. They were fun and accommodating of our silly key request. Please give them a word of thanks from us!

They were very nice in the beginning. There was some confusion the second month because they never sent me a bill but entered my payment date online with no email confirmation and no paper bill. I thought my payment was going to be the 15th when it was 15 days later on the 1st. I called to say i got no notice, the "service" person told me they had no system to refund money....whaaaat....are we in the 1st world??? Be careful and watch them when you speak initially...very slick. Tell them you MUST receive a bill. I just paid my bill beause I realized its the first of the month...thank god...No billing...this is illegal I think!!! I will never use them AGAIN...think twice before you do.

I have been storing at this facility for almost two years. I had chosen it on location and cleanliness. At one point I had five different storage rooms of various sizes. Since Kenny was brought on to manage it, I actually love the service they provide. He has made it cleaner and a pleasant place to do business. He is helpful and ready to help you get the best deal. Just yesterday, Kenny suggested I get a bigger room to consolidate my stuff. He has a positive attitude with a problem solving stance. He actually helped me move my stuff !!!!!! With Kenny at the helm of this facility, I have no hesitation to give it the highest possible recommendation.

We found that purchasing boxes from Public Storage for our move was the best deal around. In addition to having the best prices for the boxes, there was a discount applied to our purchase as well. The two young men who were in the showroom couldnt have been nicer. They remembered us from our phone call, loaded the boxes into the back of our truck, and went over the itemized bill carefully with us. We noticed how quickly the showroom was restocked after our purchase and how broom-clean the showroom was.

Staff is detailed, and sales oriented. The move in experience was good, Ryan is a genuine text book employee, who focused both on the customer and store policy equally. Throughout the check in process Ryan made sure to crossed every "T" and dotted every "I", a sharp and overall good guy. I will review again in a few months, and r ate how often they raise their rates. I been storage business is known for rapid rate increases lets see how well Public Storage does in the long term.

I moved in last week and Im very pleased with my experience. Ryan walked me through everything making sure I knew everything including opening the door to my unit. On one hand Im like "really? I can do a door." On the other hand you can not deny Ryan is very thorough. While finishing the paperwork Ryan made sure I was aware of all the items he had for sale in the office to help move in with as little problems as possible.

First time ever using a storage place. Had heard of some bad experiences from friends that had used different storage units. I picked this one solely on their location being close to where I was moving to. Did not have one single bad experience and can honestly recommend them without reservations. I dealt with Chris, Ryan and Kenny at different times and found all three to be extremely helpful and attentive to my needs.

I have been here for a few years, staff is great... building are clean. I have been very happy overall. HOWEVER- they just put concrete pillars in front of the keypads that are used to access buildings. Now, you have to get out of your car coming in and leaving to punch in the code to open gate. What a total pain in the as*. What will this be like in the winter or rainy days? I am strongly considering leaving.

I work for a company that uses this space for storage. It had been my first time here, as I needed to pull a file. Right as you walk in Ryan and Aliche greet you effusively; helping me in any way I needed so much as to actually take their time to make sure I found my unit as well as the file I had been looking for. Very respectable and admirable. This is costumer service beyond impeccable. Great team. Thank you.

After visiting several different facilities, I decided to choose these guys because of the staff here. Catherine, Joi, and Ryan were especially informative, and made sure to attend to the issues I had concerns with. They couldve easily tried to sell on packages, like I experienced with other facilities. Instead, they helped set me up with a storage unit I was really comfortable with. Definitely check them out!
