WARNING: Dont believe their sales rep about fast internet service. I changed in March from FIOS and had a horrible experience with my internet service. My WIFI would not automatically connect to my phone. Every time I returned home I had to click ignore this service and put in my password again to connect. Plus, the service was slow, not even close to the speed they promised. When you call their help line, which I dont believe is even located in this country, let alone this county, all they keep telling me is to reboot the system. If you have FIOS, I recommend you stay with them. I switched back in less then 3 months because of lies from Optimums sales rep.

Optimum horrible company to begin with. Starting with the price for the service they provide which is a off when especially when the service is always interrupted. Roslyn store. Website says they close at 6 oclock made the trip especially there only to find the door closed at 5 oclock staff said they close at 5 I am not making another trip there I am also asking for a parade of bill for the services that I was not able to receive and some kind of compensation for making this trip up here to the store anyway.

Not put down by any particular store but Cablevision/Optimum internet is the worst. After explaining how we were planning to switch to Verizon we were offered the fastest internet speed for the same price we were currently paying. Two days later the internet goes back to what it used to be like going on and off while it stayed off at night. Overall, the internet service is very slow and unreliable.
