Approximately 2 weeks prior to needing a storage locker I found Extra Space on the internet via my zip code. I called and reserved a 5x10 locker. I was informed a site manager would call me to confirm the reservation and no one ever did. When the reservation date came, I loaded my vehicle went to the 7 Arden Ave Facility. I arrived at opening time of 930 am. The office was locked and the facility main gate was unsecure, I assumed the office staff was on the property so I decided to wait. After about 15 minutes I called the main number to seek assistance. They informed me the hours are 930 am and that someone should be there. I again stated to that associate that it’s already 945, she then put me on hold so she could call the facility. When she returned to the line she stated she left a message and for me to wait a little while longer. I placed another call to the main number at 1015, informed them that if someone couldn’t assist me I would be leaving. It was at that time they stated the Regional Manager would be called and that he would call me back and to be patient. At 1030 am after not seeing any personnel and not getting a call back from the Regional Manager I surrendered, found another Storage Company close by and left. 2 Hours later the Regional Manager called me back, I informed him he lost a customer and hung up. No personnel, lack of keeping reservations and unsecured facility gates is not for me.

I recently moved to Staten Island for work and was unfamiliar with the area. When I first arrived I was waiting in the office while the staff was helping other customers. This staff knows their customers by names ! Dave, Mark and Gabby are fantastic, they really do make you feel like family and they appreciate you. They explained everything that I had asked about and even offered helpful suggestions. In the office they sell plenty of different moving supplies which is convenient for me because this saves time. They have moving carts available for free to use too. The outside and inside are well maintained and are kept clean. I like having the automatic lighting inside throughout the hallways and feel safe, day or night. They also have a 24 hour access gate. I looked around the building and the entire fence and it is secure. Because of Dave, Mark and Gabby I am a very happy customer. I definitely highly recommend this place to anyone who needs storage !

Came in on Saturday and spoke to Ro and Frank they were both very knowledgeable and helpful. The facility is very safe. They have u insure your valuables and offer affordable insurance rates thru them or you can use your personal home owners insurance. They also offer a variety of moving needs including boxes,moving companies they have affiliation with and tons of diff storage units of diff sizes. They even have locks for purchase to further secure the unit. Overall the exp was great the location of the unit was great (right off of the Expressway Arden Ave exit.)and the staff were very knowledgeable and friendly and treated me well and eased alot of the stress of the move. There are constant sales on their website including 1st month free or 1/2 1st month. I got a 5×10 unit and its huge...Def Recommend!!!!

I have nothing but praise for this Storage Facility. The staff is beyond helpfull and curtious. Dave and Gabriella helped more times than I can count from day one. Both were ALWAYS available to assist me whenever I needed it. I will say I feel like Extra Space Storage company is extremely fortunate to have amazingly kind and proffesional people to represent them. I highly recomend this facility. My Aunt was hurt and is in Nursing home for the foreseeable future. I needed storage space for all her belongings, fast. I went to Extra Space on Arden Ave and within 15 minutes I had ample space st a very reasonable price. Maureen was very understanding and extremely helpful! Dave had my transaction done by the time I came back from space. I said I wanted to post a review but I never do this so Frank helped me register. This is full service business. Very helpful. Very clean very safe. I recommend them highly.

Bravo to Arden Ave Extra Space Storage! Searched for a place that was clean,safe and professional. We found that place. From the first call to meeting with David (Senior Store Manager) we felt welcomed and safe. He advised us, showed the unit and patient with answering our questions and concerns. An extra for this company are the videos to show you the units and how to calculate the size needed. Also, having David there was reassuring. Thank you for having this place for us on Staten Island and for David.

This was my first time renting a storage unit. Wasnt sure what to expect..Moving can be so stressful.. But, Maureen and Dave made the whole process very easy.. They answered all my questions and concerns..Maureen showed me the perfect unit for my needs. The facility is very clean and secure.Felt at ease leaving my belongings there. I would highly recommend this facility to my family and friends excellent customer service..Thanks again Maureen and Dave for all your help!

Very friendly, professional and efficient staff. Clean and well lit facility located in a convenient location just off 440 (West Shore Expressway) and slightly south of mid-island. Pricing is competitive with better pricing available when reserving online or thru national center due to "internet" promo pricing but franchise rules evidently tacks on a mandatory "insurance" charge to cover contents of unit even though all we are storing is an already insured vehicle.

I have been renting my storage unit from Extra Space for a little over a year and I can say that I have never had a problem or issue. The facility is convenient, clean and my items are secure and safe. When I went to lease the unit, the staff was friendly and very helpful. I always recommend Extra Space to all of my friends and family. I must also comment that the online billing/payment reminders and account is so easy and super convenient.

My experience was great with Frank. Frank was a really kind and knowledgeable person. He made my experience go very smooth and easy. When moving, things can get stressful, but Frank made it just that little bit easier and I cant explain how thankful I am for that. Frank did his job with efficeny and competency.
