After years in New York City, then a few in Montclair, I have been through my fair share of good and bad storage facilities, until now. CubeSmart (while it may seem moot for a review to focus on the general essence and service of a Self-Storage" facility), is precisely the reason why I changed over to a new storage facility, even with the Linden location being twice the distance of my old storage facility company. The extraordinary and surprising professional, efficient and old fashioned attention to detail in the sincerity of their customer service, was enough to sell me. The bonus on the whole place is their drive up yourself storage units, their appropriate price levels, the hours for their front office and general access of the facility, the unbelievable fact that they have a truck at the location for customers to use, and last, but far from least is the personnel on hand, specifically Mr. Willie Harris. Mr. Harris adds a charm and down to Earth awareness of a customers needs, worries and while it may not deem valuable, it is invaluable the bedside manner if you will that is the ability of Willie and staff to engage in the daily conversations without a focus on just the customer/facility relationship. This is a rarity in our region, but a common truth in most of the country, and I fully recommend and dispense the highest accolades to CubeSmart in Linden for their community, local flavored small business operations that return to us a great sense of comfort and earnest regard for what matters the most in a paying customers eyes. PS - I have to note that after the January 2016 blizzard these guys did what is nothing short of a miracle in their ability to have the place clean, open and operating only hours after the storm had passed. Lo doy un 3 solo por la increible ayuda de los dos jovenes aquanda y carlos. Si no fuera por esos angeles le daria un 0 a este lugar. Lo malo de este lugar tristemente es el patron. El mismo jefe que se llama richard. No vengas aqui si eres hispano. Se ve que el es un gran racista con los clientes hispanos. Me a faltado el respeto ami y a mis parceros que tambien guardan sus cosas aqui. Se a burlado de mi solo por tener preguntas de unas cargas que no entendi y muchas cosas mas. Ese senor richard si es un racista.

We rented the end of March to the middle of June, we initially only had 1 5x15 but ended up getting a 2nd one as well. We lived in Brooklyn at the time and it was really hard finding a place that was affordable that wasnt skanky or shady. This place is VERY clean, very well kept, very safe and secure and the staff is very friendly. Allison the manager is really nice and she will work with you as much as she can. They really helped us during a hectic time and it was totally the most affordable place around for the size space. In NYC they wanted $189 for a 5x10. We got an internet special for $54 a month for a 5x15 and our 2nd unit only ended up costing us like $60 a month, plus the insurance/tax which was like $72 total for another 5x15. Im telling you, the most affordable place around and you dont have to worry about your stuff getting stolen or the managers giving you the run around. Its really a great place!

Ms. Bianchi took my initial phone call, and because of her way of walking me through what was needed, as well as the quality of the facility, I decided to store some items with them. When I came in, all of my paperwork was prepared in advance, so it was a very quick and easy to set up my account. The facility itself is very clean, appears to be very secure, and the storage space is exactly what I was looking for. I was pleased to be attended by Mr. Jeancarlo aka JC. From the moment that I walked through the doors I knew that I had made the right choice. He greeted me with a smile and escorted me around the property. This was my first time using storage and I had no idea what I was looking for. He asked me a few simple questions and found me the perfect unit size. I was very stressed and he alleviated it. He even sold me some boxes and other items that I needed. Stopped by this past weekend with my mother and was lucky enough to have jeancarl show us around thE property. He was informative and very kind. What surprised me and brought joy to my mother was the way he communicated with her using AsL, as she is hearing impaired. He could only do a few words but it touched us both very much. Though we ended up not renting with cubesmart since it was somewhat expensive and beyond our means at the moment we will definitely come back. Thanks for making my mother feel included and feel like everyone else. Will recommend - Matt A.

My locker was broken into and they called the police and filed a report. I wasnt notified until after the report was filed, which was the day before. When I asked about the security cameras on my units floor; they told me the cameras are just there as a deterrent and that they dont work. Really? I was told I would have to file a claim for anything missing and in addition to that go to the police station with the current report. Another words I would have to do most of the leg work. All they could say was sorry. Never again will I trust this company.

My grandmother and I were assisted by Jean Carl last month. I went there to help her and iwas pleased to see how informative and kind he was, especially to my grandmother who has been know to be a trying woman. He offered her his arm to help guide her up and down the step into the office.He answered all her questions with a smile and made sure we were comfortable and well informed. She raved about it to my mother. Sorry for the late review but I want to thank you Jean Carlos very much. 5 stars
