Went for a tune up a few months back; I was assured everything should be fine (their prices and rates are ridiculously high so figured better be right).. 1 week later check engine light comes back on so went back and Guy says he wasnt sure whats going on and wanted to keep the car so some other guy could take a look at it.. I already started losing confidence in them.. Had a coworkers brother take a look at it who is also a mechanic and he pretty much said it looks like nobody even touched the car; the rust around the screws to get to the spark plugs suggested they never been touched; needless to say I bought the parts myself and had a friend do it for me; the back spark plugs were complete trash and he also agreed that there was no way those were just put in new.... So yeh thats how I feel about this place; Ive been ripped off by few mechanics in the past this place just added on to my resentment for these kindve establishments..

I was scheduled for an appointment at another Meineke location this past Saturday for 7:30 AM. It wasnt until I got there and they finally opened up that they told me they had no stickers for the NY State Inspection which was the most reason for my visit. I called the Yonkers location and spoke to Tony. He immediately asked if I can make it by 8:30am to which I quickly agreed. I showed up 20 minutes early and was taken care of as if I had a pre-scheduled appointment. Oil change and Inspection done quickly and accurately. The Keurig machine in the waiting area is a plus. Seeing other customers come in and greet the workers gave a family friendly environment. I totally recommend this shop to anyone in the area (or willing to come to this area) even though it was only my first visit. First impressions are everything. Thank You Tony and staff. I took my car to this Meineke on 2 occasions. The first time I took my car there, I needed to replace my muffler, and my muffler was replaced within a short period of time. The second time that I went to this Meineke I needed to replace an oxygen sensor, change my oil and replace my headlights. The oil change package that I chose included a 14 point inspection, and during that inspection they discovered that one of my calipers needed to be replaced and one of the bolts on my (tire area?) was broken and needed to be replaced. They did not take it upon themselves and make these repairs without getting my permission first. And the price that I paid on both occasions was fair and comparable. I feel comfortable taking my car here for every repair, Highly Recommend.

I drove to this Meineke from Manhattan because having a professional, honest, and courteous service staff is unbelievably important to me when finding a place to work on my car, and I had read a review that seemed to be just that. I went here yesterday just for an oil change and they treated me with the utmost respect, despite being a female in my twenties. They didnt try to upsell anything, nor did they push services that I didnt need. I was in and out in about 20 minutes, and Gary (the owner?) was very friendly while I was waiting. I will definitely be taking my car back to them for my next oil change, as well as for any service I need done on my car.

Meineke not owned by Brian and Garry anymore.These guys were great with prices and service.Not so with the new owner.The charged $1900 to do a timing belt on a 04 Honda civic.This is at best a $600 job(parts and labour).So they overcharged not by $100 but $1300 dollars a trusting customer who did not know the business had changed hands.Very low.These guys will tell you your car needs all kinds of work and take you to the cleaners if they get a chance.So be warned and dont get scammed out of your hard earned money.

Very disorganized and had an awful experience with the mechanic fixing my car. The mechanic in question was very angry and spoke harshly to me for no apparent reason. I was stuck waiting in the office for an untold amount of time even after inquiry. Once prompted to pay was given a hard time about using a credit card. I would not recommend this "repair shop" to anyone.

Professional and helpful. Ive been there several times. On a recent busy Saturday, they took the time to explain the problem with my car and my various options. I shopped around and decided to go with them because their prices were very reasonable. The place has a friendly staff and a steady stream of happy customers every time I go.

they backed my car out of the shop and hit it into one that was parked outside. the guy got the oil from his boots all over my floor mats, and the lied and said i need a new air filter on a new car. do yourself a favor and go somewhere else

Ever since they changed owners the service changed for the worst. The new owners go straight for the most expensive product instead of explaining the options. Would NOT recommend to anybody unless they like untrustworthy people.

I want in for inspection and a synthetic oil change in and out I think I sat there for maybe 10 minutes thats why I prefer most of the time to go there than the dealer even though Im under warranty my time is money
