Our family has owned/leased seven Audis in the past, with six of them from Town Audi. This was my first and the experience was nothing short of disappointing. Our sales associate had approached us in June to trade in our 2013 S5 for a new 2015 S5 (we had a year left). We had no reason to do this, but Town made us an offer that we were comfortable with. The car we agreed to was the same S5 Quattro with Bang and Olufsen sound system, sunroof, navigation, backup camera - basically the exact car we already had. After we verbally made the deal, our sales associate told us the car was here but without the navigation and camera as we had discussed. We could pick up the car now and get it installed once the parts arrived, lower our monthly costs without those "extras" or get it in another color. He told us the installation would not increase our monthly price and when I asked him several times to confirm that this installation would be a clean install no hack - basically what we had originally spoke upon - he seemed to give me an answer that it was. We then made an appointment for the following week and sent him all our documents to draw up the contract. Even with the appointment and sending him our paperwork in advance, it took four hours to complete. Granted there was an issue with our insurance but it was obvious nothing was done beforehand. Once the parts were in, Town set up the installation to be done at my house for my convenience. I was surprised that it was not Town Audi or Audi engineers but a third party car repair service. The installations were not Audi installations but a third party navigation system and a tacked on backup camera on the trunk. Our navigation system on our previous S5 had a console system with a navigation button, but on this installation, we have to go through our steering wheel to go into a navigation system that is embarrassing to be told it is of Audi quality. Also, the backup camera is not seamless and you can hear the click of it overriding the original screen into the camera screen with a lag and screen color changes - oh and no sensors. I contacted our sales associate and asked him to give us the installation we agreed on or to take this out and renegotiate the financials. He responded by saying it was my fault for signing the contract and there was nothing he was going to or willing to do. He denied ever confirming it was going to be an Audi install and told us that he did give us full disclosure of this by telling us our navigation was touch screen. He told us any Audi lover knows that Audi MMI systems dont come in touch screens, so this third party installation was implied. He said he did nothing wrong and because we signed the contract we were done and there was nothing he could do for us. Just as we go to a doctor when we are sick, go to an accountant when we need help with our finances, we go to a car dealer, a car specialist to help us get what we want. I believe that car dealers are more knowledgeable than us, so they have the professional responsibility to guide us and give us all the information about the car before we sign the contract. Had we been told clearly that we were not going to get the navigation and camera we wanted we would never have signed the contract. To Towns credit, the general sales manager was far more professional and did take my concerns seriously. He was polite and kind and at least offered to look into other options for us. Unfortunately, Town was not willing to spend money to ameliorate the situation or give us any other options. Our sales associate also did not follow up with me about getting my plates and registration for the new car. For a luxury car like Audi I expected better. It is not fair for a customer to be stuck in an unhappy and misled contract and also be told it is their fault for signing it. I hope this disappointing quality of service and product is not indicative of Audis.

First off, I am giving only 1 star because i am forced to do so...otherwise this place gets zero ratings or negative ratings. I dropped my car off for a regular oil change and service. Part of that included convertible top and roll over bar inspection. When i took the car back home my convertible roof stopped working and it was stuck in the open position with roof down. I went in the next day to ask what went wrong especially since I never had any issues with it before and the fact that everything checked out during inspection. They blamed it on me and quoted $2550 for repair with vague diagnosis and limited info. I find it hard to believe that all of a sudden the hydraulic motor would stop working without any prior problem. They also blamed it on faulty motor during the arguments. Moreover, from the body language of their service consultant it seemed as though he knew i would be back. Got in to couple of heated arguments with Service Manager and Service consultant and they kept denying any liability. I also tried to explain to the General Manager Franklin Scott. The guy refused to believe me and offered some discount as though he was doing a favor when in fact his dealership is liable for damaging my convertible roof. It seemed very circumstantial that i switched for Jack Daniels to this dearlership with no warranty for a damaged roof. They were being suspicious of me when in fact i am the victim and who is suspicious on what went down in their workshop that got my perfectly ok car so screwed.. I tried to explain that its very coincidental that a perfectly working convertible would suddenly malfunction esp after a day of service. Further when i went to Jack Daniels their diagnosis was completely different and they never mentioned anything about the hydraulic motor but only shorted electric motor and other issue. their quote was way less than what these cheaters gave me. With these turn of events, I am getting the sense that, there has been a faulty service and inspection at this dealerships. Something went wrong during the service and inspection and it was covered up to avoid the liability. They also try to dupe by misleading you. Gave me 3/4 tank of gas in the loaner and told me it was full. Second time around they gave me half tank of gas when actually it was less than quarter tank. When I pointed out they blamed it on the computer…How convenient! Very shady business and I highly doubt the integrity of work they perform. Very very very disappointed and I hope they make it up to me and not by a measely 20% discount.

I drive a 2012 Audi A6 SuperCharge, A few days ago I received a recall for fuel pump change, in that I called the nearest audi dealership to make an appointment for the change on 01/26/2017. In the process of the change I decided to have an oil change. At the dealership everyone was very nice and took care of me with in the process of the service and assured me that the fuel pump and the oil change has been taken care of and paid 140.27 dollars for the oil change. The biggest part me going to the dealership was because of the recall for the fuel pump because of the letter I received a few days ago. This morning 01/27/2017, after my daily routine coming home the car engine suddenly turned off the worst part of this was that I was traveling on a highway, "Palisades Parkway" to be exact. On the dash board of the car there were no indication of something wrong. The fuel gauge was indicated as that the car had fuel in the car. But have doubts in my mind about the fuel I called a friend to bring some fuel to put in the car sure enough the car started, and came to conclusion that the fuel gauge was broken. I would like to formally put a complaint to the Audi Town Motors of Englwood NJ at 400 South Dean St Englewood NJ 07631. For the life or death situation I was in, and the amount of time I had to suffer for the mistakes that the Audi service made in a recall that Audi of america formally gave out to all of the audi owners. Having trusted that an Audi dealership would know how to service an audi car, was the worst mistake of my life. Driving a car in the highway, all of the sudden losing an engine and feeling a life or death situation was something that I wanted to share. Cars flying by me trying desperately to move the car to a save place to park was something that no one should experience. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS DEALERSHIP AND ESPECIALLY THE SERVICE DEPARTMENT TO ANYONE. THIS IS A FAIR WARNING TO ALL AUDI OWNERS !! I REALLY DONT WANT ANYONE TO SUFFER WHAT I HAVE SUFFERED BECAUSE OF THE LACK OF KNOWLEDGE, LACK OF UNDERSTANDING, AND LACK OF PROFESSIONALLY THAT THIS DEALERSHIP HAS. For the amount of money that you spend to buy or lease this Brand I do believe that this Dealership Lacks in Service and knowledge.
