I wish I could leave a negative 5. Where do I begin! Omg too many bad experiences to begin with lets just do todays. I waited in line for 5-10 minutes thats reasonable but when you have a toddler with you who doesnt understand why she cant run around that gets difficult but not their fault. Then once I got to the clerk I was informed I put the wrong label on my package to be mailed regular post, well they dont have any labels available, when I asked him to please help me replace the label so it could go regular post he pointed to the labels and said I have some for sale and then stated at me blankly. I may be wrong here but isnt their job to help you? I mean Im standing there with a toddler flailing in my arms screaming and smacking me and the man has the gall to just sit and stare and not offfer help? Lets just say my mail did not get mailed and the old grey balding man with glasses didnt even care that I asked for help. He was too stuck on the fact that I put the wrong label on to even realize I was asking him for a regular post label. Refused to help refused to assist worst place ever. And the best part was there was another clerk there who literally just ignored this was going on. Never ever again also they never answer their phones. I got forwarded to the courier number somehow after an hour of trying to contact them. This office is a joke I really wish it was easy to get a job there because it seems you dont need to have any customer service or even common courtesy skills at all.

I have had several issues with having mail delivered to home address, mail getting lost, and not being able to properly manage a PO BOX. I had a temporary forward placed on my box. When I came back, they said it was the wrong form, and thus a permanent forward, and thus my box was closed. I had to repay for another box (unable to apply credit for the payment of the original box, so double paying for a box) then I had to fill out some format to stop the forwarding. I get called back down a week later because again, the wrong form was used (the forms they hand you) and again had to fill out additional paperwork...well two months later, when I was missing some very important mail, it was returned to sender. when I called to question, a Manger told me, that one of the forms must of got lost and not applied, and said it was fixed now. This mistake cost me a lot of money. It was time sensitive material, and is putting me in a stressful position. At this point, I do not feel confident that my mail will make it safely to my PO BOX, as there are many issues, disappointments, and stress due to the lack of consistency and reliability. I am going to obtain a box at another location as I cannot afford another mistake.

The USPS is flexible, delivers a great service for a fraction of the cost of its competitors. I can have anything sent to my PO address and pick it up at my leisure - even in the middle of the night! If I need to mail a letter and dont have stamps I can put the letter and 44 cents in my mailbox and the carrier will put the stamp on. The only reason the service can be slow or the phones not answered quickly - at times, is that the f*cktards in Washington are doing everything they can to destroy it so we can all get to pay $5 to have a letter delivered or take half a day off from work to wait at home for the fed ex driver to drop off a package. Ill take the good old, US government backed, Postal Service any day. And for all you private enterprise junkies, explain to me how it is that the US government could start from scratch and put a man on the moon in 10 years while at the same time the vaunted privately run companies have barely been able to manage a few suborbital flights with a couple of decades of trying.

Where do we begin . . . extremely important envelope that contained checks for an offer on a home was NOT delivered correctly. Envelope had both tracking and signature required on it. Would not be a problem except that we missed the 5:00 pm deadline and "thank goodness" the seller was understanding and did not void the contract due to the postman error. We have had to pay for stop shipment on two checks and for an overnight Fedex delivery to recover. How can the postman state "delivered at the front desk/reception area" when there is NO front desk/reception area at any of the offices or building entrance. This was a simple delivery going to Keller Williams . . . in a bldg with only eight offices. Oh and did I mention dont try to call the post office because no one will answer. In seeing all the other reviews - why isnt the postmaster involved getting these complaints addressed?????

Very nice staff inside this location but with the closing of the Asheville sorting facility shipments that go through this post office location are seldom on time. Because Asheville no longer has a USPS sorting facility all mail has to go to Greenville, SC to be processed! Many times I am shipped something with 2-day delivery and when it is not on time I will call this location as it is the one my mail goes through, and they explain to me that they received packages from Greenville late and they were not loaded onto the trucks with the other packages. You would not believe the number of times I have been told that the problem with my package being delayed is caused by something to do with the facility in Greenville. So it is not the staffs fault at this location as they have all been nice to me but seriously USPS get your ish in line for us in Western NC as we are fed up.

Horrible service. I shipped a package priority mail. My wedding invitations, packed nicely in a cardboard thick package. They never made it to my fiancé in a different state, were most likely delivered to the wrong address, refused and shipped back to me. The address was correct. The mail person stuffed the large package into my tiny metal apartment mailbox, completely ruining The contents and the package was ripped and water damaged when I received it. When I came in and talked to the head clerk at the Patton ave location she was extremely rude to me And offered zero help or what to do. I am so disappointed and unhappy. My 300$ package is ruined and the staff here in charge is awful. Why Work in customer service if you hate people ? Terrible.

Was charged $41 after sending a package for $11. Noticed the charge several weeks later on my credit card and contacted the facility. After several weeks of trying to reach the right person to talk to, and giving my information time and time again, I was told they were talking to financing since all I had was a photo of the sent package with a price on it and my credit card statement (didnt have my receipt due to the elapsed time). This is just sloppy on their end, and I havent gotten a single apology for what amounts to my money being stolen. I will revise this if anything changes. Avoid!
