I wish I could have put ZERO stars for this disaster of a business--it is literally the "DMV" of cable companies. The only word I can use to describe this particular store/branch is abysmal! They tried to substantially raise my bill twice in less than one year by adding on services I never approved. Naturally, I had to call to get those removed, and it was such a hassle! So relieved I didnt subscribe to the auto-pay feature! Additionally, the TV service was sub par, as I almost always had problems when I was trying to watch a big sports game. Finally, I moved and decided to close my account with them--what an ordeal! I was out of town so I called ahead of time to cancel my service and was disconnected. I called back and got no answer, so a week later (when I was back in town) I went to return the equipment. At the store, I found out that my service had not been cancelled and that I was going to be charged for the month, even though it had only been a week in the business cycle and I had been told on the phone that my service was being cancelled! When my partner and I questioned the bill, the salesman told us to take it up with billing/customer service and made a couple (unrelated) snarky remarks about my partner. Throughout our awful interaction, he made us feel like we were inconveniencing him, even though it was pretty clear to me while I was waiting in line that he was disinterested in his job and incredibly incompetent. The other employees were equally rude to other customers. What a mess. F-

I am very disappointed in the service I receive and your companys business practices. Having internet and cable is supposed to add enjoyment to life. In reality my experience with TWC has been a nightmare. I have to call the billing department every 3 months because my bill keeps getting higher and higher. I realize that promotions expire, but this is ridiculous. Today I called about my bill because of another increase. I got transferred 4 times. I had to give the same information to all four people. An hour later, I finally got transferred to someone who could help me (person #4 was in the billing dept for zip code 27517), he was about to apply another promotion to my account and put me on hold. This was after 45min of talking to him, he never came back. I got circulated back to the main number and a 5th person in another dept/state answered. They could not help me and had no idea what promotion person #4 was signing me up for. I hung up extremely frustrated and called back. I got back to the billing dept for zip code 27517 and now speaking with a 6th person, who also had no idea what he was taking about! I finally gave up and hung up...No one I talk to gives me the same information.

I really want to give it a "0" star and tons of f words to TWC. I am moving out from the old address after a one year lease with them, at the end of the lease, they add another $129.74 to my account for some reasons they could not even clarify. I tried to talk to them on the phone, which was a completely disaster. I spent over 2 hours on the phone just listening to their stupid commercial ads! I first tried to make clear about the balance on my account, while people just put me to another lane again and again with no one can actually help. After more than 40 mins, I just give up and tell one of them I am willing to pay for the balance. And they handled that immediately!!! After that, when I want to go ahead and close my account, no one of them was willing to take my case serious but to kick me like a ball. And when I reach the guy who is in charge of cancel my account, she told me she is not able to do anything because some other of them is in my account! AND redirect me to the voice system again! I just can not believe this. To those who are thinking about joining TWC, do not do it unless this is your last choice.

I almost did not go to this one because of the reviews posted, but decided everyone could use a second chance. The place is nice on the inside even though it looks almost abandoned on the outside. (Hey twc I would put a company car/truck out there if I were you) there were 2 workers in the front a 20-30 black male and a 30s black female. There were 2 other costomers that were ahead of me one canceling service and the other with cable box problems. The male handled the service cancelation fast and efficiently and then it was my turn. He was courteous and efficient and in no time I had the replacement box that I needed and he even saved me a little. Now to explain why there are not 5 stars. The female seamed to be upset about an interview for a position she I guess was looking for, the point is that she was discussing inter workings of the company in front of customers. This is a no no. Not a fire warrented offense but, bad business practice none the less. I hope that they have fixed all the problems with this place, I had a good experience myself but time will only tell.

I called to lower the cable bill for my 82 year old mom. She currently pays 192.00 per month for basic bundled cable, Internet and phone. After about 30 minutes on the phone, I was told her rate could be lowered by 30.00 per month and I had to take her current box to TWC office and switch it out for new box. Upon doing so, I was told by a very rude clerk that there was no record of my mother in the system, no such address as the one I gave them (where she has lived 15 years) and no such phone number. The clerk then asked me for the last 4 of her SSN. Only then did she find her records. She grumbled that the TWC rep who had assisted me initially on the phone did not do his job properly and she had to "clean up his mess which she did not like to do." I despise this company and hope they are forced out of business. Poorest customer service I have ever encountered and I can only hope this is the last time I have to deal with them! The sad thing is we can post our low ratings repeatedly and no one seems to care....never see any signs of improvement. Zero stars!!!

There are two options for cable in this area... Time Warner Cable (TWC) and AT&T. I went with TWC since it was slightly cheaper. I bought my own modem to use so I could stop leasing one from them, and it has been a hassle getting it to work. They say that all you have to do is call and register your MAC address. Well, over 3 hours of being on the phone later, speaking with at least 10 different people, the internet is finally working on my new modem. First off, for such a giant business that has monopolies in so many places, HIRE MORE CALL SERVICE STAFF. TWC must know that they are hated by so many people. Second, TRAIN YOUR STAFF BETTER. I get transferred over and over and was told different things every time. Also, change your whole call process. I am really tired of listening to the same robot voice with the same voice commands; Im sick of being asked the same questions over and over. I literally had to tell 10 different people the same information every single time. Information they said they were noting down in my case file! Ugh.
