If you want to send/receive ANYTHING, dont trust USPS to do anything except screw it up. Then when you call them on it, prepare to be told its anybodys fault but their own, and that "well, I dont believe theres a fault anywhere." Even got the Postal Inspectors office involved. Fat lot of good that wasnt. Should have just called the FBI. They would have ignored me, but they wouldnt have even pretended to care like the PIs office did, whilst blaming me for my own missing package. Bottom line: theres a reason the USPS is broke: they cant do the job anymore, and they dont really care if they screw you over.

Have a package that needs to be held at the Post Office, however I cannot get through to their listed phone number to get a hold of anyone. Very frustrating. On a side note, not quite related to this local Post Office. About 4 years ago I was working on a website to get a calculation on shipping for products. I had a question about their API and sent them an e-mail. I never got a reply and found a solution somewhere else online. About a year and a half later I finally received a generic not helpful reply to my email. Why even bother at that point?

Understaffed. When I have to stand in line here its like the soup Nazi episode on Seinfeld. The people usually are ok, but are just as fun to talk to as a cardboard box. Its pathetic the city size of Grand Forks does not have its mail distributed here in Grand Forks. Fargo has to take care of that for mail customers here in GF. This city is EASILY big enough to handle that. I understand the economy is down and all that, but come on! people need to get the mail on time, and without lost or damaged packages. This is a problem at this location.

In 10-20 years when the usps has gone out of business this branch will be one of the reasons. Absolutely never anwser their phones, almost as if they dont even have phones running. Additionally a package of mine was lost and while the office where it was supposed to go was in constant contact the grand forks branch did not call me a single time, I had to go in the office in person more than once to check the status of what was going on-again would be helpful if they had working phones. Even east grand office knows how bad this branch is.

A complete disgrace to customer service, whats so many of nauseous disgusting rules on how to send a letter it is amazing how this service is still possibly in business. Ive attempted to send the same piece of mail three times and had it returned to me for some obscure rule. And Im coming to find that Im not the only one who has these issues. I can only hope that the regular employees find a better business to work for. Dear God let FedEx, UPS or Amazon take this business away from these ********.

The mail workers are very friendly and always greetable whether its at my house or at my employment. Though the office is not reliable on answering the phones or calling back, I left a voicemail and my problem was fixed. The postal workers behind the desk are helpful and willing to assist with any of my needs. I would recommend going into the office if you need assistance with anything and they would be more then willing to help. Very pleased with the service Ive received.

During our visit on 10-22-2012 at approximately 09:30 a.m. we were met with a very poor customer service representative. Her name tag read Maggie and she was very unprofessional and just plain "crabby". My wife said to have a good day at the end of our transaction and her response was "well, its Monday". As if that was some excuse to be rude and impolite. Her attitude was that of someone who did not want to be there. And, quite frankly, maybe she shouldnt be.

I needed to call the post office to check if they were still forwarding mail to my new address because I was expecting a check that had been inadvertently sent to my old address. After reading all the one-star reviews about people trying to call and not getting an answer and/or being treated rudely,I got a bit worried. Well, I called...and a kind lady answered after only 3 rings, and she professionally addressed my concerns. No rudeness, no problems.

I understand it is a government run building but going to the Post Office in Grand Forks is a nightmare. The lines there can sometimes go out of the door. I have NEVER seen more than 2 clerks on duty at a time and have seen clerks just walk out to their lunch break with a a huge line of people waiting. They can be quite nasty to the customers as well. Try and P.O. at the Super One Foods.

They are horrible. They never ever answer the phone no matter how many times you call. They have messed up my mail too. They dont deliver any of my mail and says its because there is no name on my mail box which is a crock of BS. Its been on there since day one. Worst post office ever.

Not only do you have to wait 45 minutes to get to a clerk but i have given them a change of address twice now and they still have not been competent enough to process it. I am still not getting my mail and the people there seem to be very unmotivated, unhappy, and unwilling to help.

USPS is absolutely terrible. They provide you no help whatsoever. They are government employees who cannot be fired and therefore do not care. Go to a privately run business like FedEx or UPS if you dont feel like running your head through a wall.

The phone rand and rang. No one answered. Two packages were listed as being out for delivery. I received neither one and the mailman is long gone. I cannot get any answers because NO ONE answers the phone. WHERE ARE MY PACKAGES???

I spent two hours trying to call them and still didnt answer. This is completely unacceptable. I will definitely be contacting a higher power. I have never been more unsatisfied.

Busy busy busy this place is always packed the line moves decently fast for a post office though Id give customer service a B considering the volume of people here.

The staff is super nice and always provides me with all the info I need and they work quickly. No complaints and I go here several times per month to mail things.

As others have stated, these people never answer a phone. Face to face experience isnt any better either. Employees are rude and completely unprofessional.

They never answer the phone. This is very annoying and completely unacceptable. Makes it much harder to resolve any short of mail issue.

no one will answer your call if you have questions. best bet is to drive there and if youre on the north end, its a good long drive.

The people behind the desk are amazingly helpful and patient. The woman who takes passport photos is great, too.
