WOW! Internet service has truly performed above expectations. I primarily use the internet for the most demanding of services-- particularly streaming and online gaming. These include online FPSs that require excellent latency or else they are unplayable. Even with multiple devices connected to the internet such as my Playstation 4, gaming pc, tablets, and phones, my internet speeds have never dipped below 60Mbps which is the plan that I am currently subscribed to. In some cases, they peak at over 100Mbps during initial speed testing. Latency/ping is truly fantastic as well. When conducting a speed test to the closest server, I am rarely over 30 ms. This is exceptional considering I prefer anything below 80 ms. Stability has been exceptional as I have yet to do a modem reset due to lost connectivity. I simply stay connected. The modem they provide is perfectly sufficient for a small number of devices and it has average range. However, for larger houses or multiple devices, I recommend investing in a third party router with external antennas that can provide 2.4ghz and 5ghz connectivity. This will ensure that your devices stay connected no matter where you are in the house. Initial installation was a breeze. They installed the line quickly, efficiently, and were professional at all times. I was able to connect flawlessly after the initial setup. However, I had to call and remind them to come and bury the line in the yard which they seemed to forget about. That disappointed me but it I forgave it as the first offense. I have read complaints from other customers and my experience has been quite different from them. I have a theory on this. This is pure speculation so please take it with a grain of salt. Most of the complaints I have read are from customers who have the 30Mbps plan. The 30Mbps plan is pretty much standard when it comes to internet services. Many customers are switching from Time Warner to WOW! to save the money but stay with their current speeds (most probably have the 30Mbps subscription). This is perfectly fine considering I switched from Time Warner as well to save money. However, I decided to go with the 60Mbps plan because I thought that since WOW! is a relatively new company, their 30Mbps service may be bogged down due to an influx of new customers combined with the lack of resources to handle that bandwidth when compared to a power house such as Time Warner. I suspect that as WOW! Internet grows, their 30Mbps service will see an improvement in stability and throughput. This is all, however, pure speculation supported only by my personal experience with the 60Mbps plan. In conclusion, I have been very satisfied with WOW! Internet service. The following is a condensed list of Pros and Cons. TL;DR Pros: Excellent speeds. Responsive latency. Stable connectivity. Decent Range for average use. Cons: Default modem lacks range for larger homes and multiple devices means investing in a third party router. Had to remind WOW! to come back and bury the line.

I decided to switch from Spectrum, formerly Time Warner, a month ago when they jacked up my rates for the bundled package once again. Cant justify paying $145/month for so so internet speeds, moderate cable and phone with my own equipment. I was put off by the bad local reviews for WOW but decided to check them out anyway. Called to inquire about their service and got a very knowledgeable person in Colorado who gave me a brief history of company and some background info. He answered a lot of my questions. A few days later, a very professional WOW sales consultant named Rod, showed up at my door to ask me if he could answer any questions for me about WOW. I invited him in and we had a long talk about options and pricing. I decided to sign up for WOW 100 mbps service as well as basic t.v. special for $59.99 for first 12 months. Rod explained ways to keep my bill lower (buy my own modem) and told me about additional taxes and fees. With taxes and fees and my own router and modem it works out to be less than $75/month-approximately half what I was paying Spectrum. I no longer have a home phone but so far, not missing it. Its been 2 weeks since my WOW service was connected and so far, I am a happy camper. Tech who hooked up my service was quick and knowledgeable. Just received the first bill and no surprises there. I am giving 4 stars instead of 5 because the scheduling of tech coming out was not as smooth as it could have been. The first attempt, the tech insisted he was at my house when he wasnt. I told him how to get to my house and an hour later, he still hadnt shown up so I rescheduled for another day. The second attempt to get me set up was a Sunday and everything went forward smoothly. Also, just measured my download speeds at 48.04 mbps and upload at 10.85 mbps which is slower than what WOW claims to offer but its plenty fast for my purposes. Still giving 4 stars. Will update if things change in the future.

Me Hi
I see why your name is wow. Its for WOW you guys suck. Their dollar general internet was offline like always, did the ole reset router, unplug, plug in blah blah blah. they tried to say it was going to be 6days before someone could come out. nah bro you junk will be out by the curb with the rest of my garbage, your tech can pick it up out there. If my business had as many terrible reviews, I would make some changes. In the meantime I will take your router outside and feed the neighborhood cats with it. I dropped a big turd in the toilet this morning that had better customer service. Look at all you terrible reviews..... Look at them. I will pay more to anyone else who can provide a quality service. After getting off the phone with WOW we suck cable company I called Time Warner and they are coming out tomorrow afternoon. Best of luck to your dollar tree junk company. The smartest thing you C U next Tuesdays can do is to sell to one of the big boys. Which will probably happen anyway. Welcome to WOW where we take a terrible product and terrible service to the next level. WOW we suck cable company. Update: so Time Warner was out to hook us up. Evidently some squirrels had chewed through the connection outside, leaving bare wire. Thats why are internet was garbage. Wow we suck cable was called about 15 times in regards to garbage internet. If they would have not been lazy and came out and actually tried to diagnose the problem, they maybe would have found that. But its all good, the web and cable are much better with current provider. They hooked it up properly and we are good to go. To Wow we suck cable, have some business sense and some class. You are garbage.

My experience with WOW so far. After moving to my new place in North Olmsted and having Time Warner assure me that everything would be set up the day of the move I thought I was cover. After 3 appointments with Time Warner in which a technician was required to come out all three times I still didnt have internet. So naturally I called the competition, WOW, and they told me theyd have a technician there by 6pm the following evening. 6pm rolls around no one shows. 7pm still nothing. 8pm we call, they tell us they can send him out at 9pm. Gave us a confirmation. 9pm rolls around, no one ever shows up. So we make an appointment for today I get home at 4pm on the dot if I rush, the technician calls and asks if he can come early because "Thats what works best for me." I dont know if these technicians are hired by WOW or is it some guy with a truck. But the technician contacting the customer and changing times of the appointment to a time that even further inconveniences me is unacceptable. Unfortunately my other choice is Time Warner whos speeds, and monthly rates are not even competitive to the rest of the current ISP market. If this is the experience I have had just trying to get service turned on so i can start paying them then I could imagine making any changes once you get the service would be even more difficult. Wow is just like all the other ISPs in the area. If your looking for a bit of refreshment in an otherwise frustrating market you will find nothing special about WoW. They are as equally disappointing and lacking of customer concern as their competition.
