I would have put zero starts but the system wouldnt let me. Weve experienced an interruption in service since we signed up. This includes IP Phone service, Internet and TV. And its daily. Continually on a daily basis. Weve had numerous technicians at the house and one tech intimated it was a problem with my phone even though the problem occurs on every phone in the house. Based on his intimation I purchased a new IP phone at my expense and, of course, it wasnt the phone. After numerous tech visits and having a second DSL line installed a line technician was finally dispatched. The line technician was very thorough, identified the problem and acknowledged there is a problem affecting the entire neighborhood. That was almost 4 weeks ago and the problems continue. When I call Charter to get a status on a repair, they struggle to find any documentation in their records. When they DID FINALLY find the record of the issue, they acknowledged no action was taken on the problem identified by the line tech. I tried to get another line tech scheduled but come to find out, the only person that can recommend a line tech be sent out is the in-house tech. So after another wasted in-house tech call (and since it was the same guy that said it was a problem with my phone), he refused to schedule a line tech. He was told by his supervisor that the problem as fixed, which is obviously not the case yet still refused to schedule a line tech. After numerous phone calls to customer service they were supposed to have the line tech dispatch call me to set up another appointment. Well see if that happens. Frankly, this is all a huge waste of time if Charter will not fix the lines when a problem is identified. This is the worst most aggravating customer no-service Ive dealt with in a long, long time. And get this - the last time I was on the phone with customer no-service MY PHONE CUT OUT!

Just like everyone else is saying. Absolutely terrible customer service. Worst Ive ever seen. Spent 2 days on the phone and waiting at home for technicians just to get internet working right. Still isnt the speed they said it would be. 2 letters come in the mail per day trying to get me to buy new services even though their phone reps lied to me several times with no apology. Internet account control is frustrating and terrible. They are honestly just the worst.

You probably already know this, but Charters customer service is absolutely dreadful. I wont bother anyone with details, but it essentially cost me $50 and an hour on the phone, plus two trips to the local office, to resolve a simple billing matter that I was assured had already been taken care of. Their actual internet service isnt bad, though the rental router & modem are (of course) total junk and they throttle download speeds pretty heavily.

I have always had great service from the technicians in this area. Rather than just come out and fix an issue, the technicians are always very informative and make me feel more in the loop so to say. Also, every tech i have ever had service my apartment has been very friendly and personable, which makes it way less awkward when they are in my apt. Really impressed.

always trying to sneak extra rate in on you. make sure you check you bill every single month. it can always change. calling you every other week offering you services they know you dont want... i would rather buy a router from walmart and deal with slower internet than pay for this service. sorry charter. the world is constantly improving... you should to

Wanted to disconnect the service. The person on the phone kept asking about the other company we left them for. Asked him several times to just disconnect the service. Went to turn in all the equipment and the guy didnt put in a disconnect order. Also, their service is very poor and customer service isnt very helpful.

Salesman added things to my order that I did not ask for. Install took 2 extra hours and everyone on the phone was of no help. Tech on the job was great and tried everything he could but I definitely felt the salespeople gave us both the run around to get a bigger commission. Lets just hope the Internet is fast.

Ive been using this company service for an awful long time (30 years ) but theyve went up on my monthly fee again being a loyal customer counts for nothing being a newbie youll get their best price what we need is competitions in this area then I promise you everything would change with Charter Cable.

As soon as I can get Comcast to my area-I am leaving Charter!!! Every time I change my channel I loose cable connection!!! Internet is also hit or miss!!! Ive had 7 techs out here to "fix" the problems and I get a different reason for the problem each time!!! Still not fixed!!

Front desk staff need training. There is a sign in the lobby that says to ask about their new internet services. I ask and the agent has no idea nor is there anyone else to ask. I thought Comcast was bad. Pricing, service, and internet speeds are all significantly worse.

Very bad service. I have spent hours trying to get new service started, still with no results. The final answer is that in this age of technology, they can not start my service without me coming in to the office. Find another provider if you can.

Worst service. Cant get to a human on the phone. Online support a joke. Repair service comes works fine couple of days then turns to crap again. Tired of paying for no or unreliable service. Roku really bad. Spectrum app poorly written

Charter had a monopoly on my street. I cant change isp because no one else offers service so charter can just raise their prices on me as the see fit. Something is wrong with the way communications are regulated in this country.

Poor customer service on top of their overprices rates! Im switching to Direct TV. Charter increased my monthly fee by 25%! For no special reason. I did not get 25% more channels, nor did I get improved reception or service.

I ordered internet service and they canceled my appointment without notifying me. The number they had on my account wasnt even mine. Then they said my account didnt exist.
