Just wanted to say thank you to ALL the guys that worked on my Explorer yesterday and had it back to me in time. These guys keep their word, I was worried because Ive had horrible experiences with auto mechanic places that find problem after problem and keep the vehicle for small repairs for weeks on end then hold the vehichle ransom for the new huge repair bill..... But I had my SUV towed at 11am ( used the towing company they recommended, & they used a flat bed for our SUV :) and just wanted fuel pump and TPS replaced and I had it back around 5pm same day. It runs better than ever and they just didnt fail me at all. I will now use 5 start auto care to care for all 9 of our vehicles. A+++++++++ all the way! Very down to earth and personable guys. After paying them $170 to tell me they couldnt find the leak in my AC system so they added coolant and dye, they then found a major leak in the main hose assembly, the one right in front of you when you open the hood. Then they quoted me $681 to replace. I ultimatley got the repair done at another shop for $320 and that price included an oil change. When I asked the owner why the estimate his mechanic gave me was 50% higher than another estimate and more than double that of a third estimate he said it was because they only used quality parts and had good mechanics......yeah, right. Had I allowed them to rip me off they way they tried to, I would have spent a total of $850 for a simple leak in an AC hose assembly. They will never, ever get another dime from me.

5 Star Auto Care has been very helpful with my car and its problems. I have dealt with them extensively over the last few months and they have helped make my car fun to drive again. The prices are fair and I couldnt ask for better professionals to handle my vehicle. My car wasnt in the greatest shape when I bought it, but over time they have turned my automobile from sub-par to substantial again. They even lent me a loaner car so I could get to and from work while they fixed my cars problems. Overall its been a great experience. Just look at all of the reviews below and youll see why you should consider bringing your automobile to them. I can only speak for myself and I can say I found my mechanics for future auto repairs.

More like 1 Star Auto. I got ripped off big time by these guys. New to Cincinnati, my car was acting strange, so took it to 5 Star Auto based on positive reviews. After 3 days of not having a car, Darren finally called and estimated it would be about a $1200 fix. Not knowing anywhere else to take it, and because I trusted them, I told them to go ahead and fix it. After coughing up the 1200, I sent a copy of my invoice to my old mechanic back home and he said that with what I had done, any reasonable mechanic wouldve been able to fix it for around $600. They took advantage of someone new to the city and overcharged me $600! Wheres my $600 Darren?!? Avoid 5 Star Auto or you will get screwed over.

I recently relocated to the Cincinnati area and needed to get a brake job on my Subaru Forester. After reading through Google reviews, I selected this shop in Cheviot. I spoke to the owner on the phone to make the appointment and he was courteous and helpful. I was given a loaner car to use to run some errands while they worked on my car. I was not charged for an evaluation of my emergency brake or my front brakes and was told I only needed a rear brake job. I thought I needed both front and back brake work so he could have easily convinced me that was the case. My car was finished earlier than promised, and the invoice was LOWER than the estimate. I would highly recommend this business!

I was a repeat customer, so I surprised at the treatment I received. I had an appointment to have my car at the shop at 10 a.m. on a Saturday morning. I was told I would receive a call with the outcome of their inspection and how much the repair was going to be. I got no call that Saturday and therefore, I had no car the rest of the weekend. Not to mention, my work identification, and other things that I use everyday was in my car. I was late to work the following Monday and had to wait until the shop opened because I could not clock in nor get into my workplace without my work identification. They had my car for six days. I will not return to Five Star Auto.

I called a night in advance and asked could id roomy car off to be looked at for a possible tune up. I dropped my car off at 11:30/12 the next day and they said they would call once they looked at it. Later that day around 5 I was told my car was two behind to get in the garage . The next morning around 11 still no call. I call they said my car had not been seen theyd call me in a hour. At 4 still no call I go to get my car and it was just starting to be looked at I brought my car two lines above E they charged be $10 saying my car needed gas to be tested but how when it had just gone into the garage to be tested. Wont recommend them to anyone

I was visiting Cincinnati from out of state and my car broke down on the interstate with a blown transmission. Along the side of the road, I searched for auto shops where I could have my car towed. After calling a few places, I talked to Deron at 5 Star Auto and knew right away that was who I wanted to look at my car. Deron looked into several options, and found a quality used transmission that he installed. I am very appreciative for his excellent service and for getting me back on the road again. The quality of the work and professionalism were top notch! Its in the name -- 5 stars!!!

Ive been using Five Star Auto Care for several years for car repair and general maintenance and have always been satisfied with their work. They offer quick service, which is especially helpful when my car is in need of repair. They provide a ride home so I dont have to wait while my car is being serviced. They also provide a loaner car if they need to keep it longer. Great service, great folks to work with, very professional and they know how to fix my car, right! I also appreciate that they guarantee their work. Couldnt ask for more.

It was great. They completed the repair when they said they would, and the car is running find. After picking it up I stopped and got gas and then the car would not start. I called Deron and he came, got the car started, drove it back to the garage, and found it was the cable to the negative terminal on the battery was dirty and needed tightening. We have not had a problem with starting since he did hes simple repair.. He never charged me! This is a excellent place to get repair work completed.
