I spent half of the year traveling the country, buying and selling online to fund my travels. I have therefore been to dozens of post offices, from where I would ship my packages. Most of the post offices provided pleasant, respectful, and all-around excellent service. Often times, I would even write a review online and rate these experiences 5 stars. But today is not the case. Of all the post offices I have dealt with in my travels, none rates as low as Bedford for friendliness, helpfulness, interpersonal skills, professionalism, and overall customer service. It is a shame that, because of branches like the Bedford Post Office, the career postal worker carries a stigma of being rude, angry, and somewhat disgruntled. ("going postal") Furthermore, I also think that one major reason the USPS is in so much financial trouble has a lot to do with the inability to hire competent workers and correctly train them and replace them when their performance wavers. If I could rate zero stars I would.

This is the worst post office Ive ever patronized. The PO Box clerk thinks shes running some autonomous fiefdom and does as she pleases with mail. My incoming business mail was mishandled so many times that I simply HAD to move my PO Box to a different location because their poor service levels were causing me to be late on my projects and that was causing tension with my clients. I specifically encouraged my clients to ship mission critical work product to me via the USPS as a cost-saving measure. I had to reverse course simply because this post office mishandles mail, often cant find parcels or packages after leaving a notice for something that didnt require a signature ANYWAY (that should have just been placed in the box), and when they do finally find what youve now been waiting an eternity for, its usually forked over to you in a huff as if its your fault that it was lost in the first placce! Unacceptable, disappointing, and frustrating in so many ways!! Clean it up!

This is the most rude, disrespectful and poorly ran post office I have ever been too. I put in a change of address, eighteen days had passed and I still had not received any mail at my new address. I called my old local post office, which is the one in bedford to see if they had any mail for me. The lady told me to call back Monday and speak to the mail carrier which made no sense. So I asked her can she just check to see if I had any mail there. She huffed and puffed and asked what was my name and address, I said maam is there a reason why you sound as if you have an attitude? She proceeded to hang up on me, I called back three times, each time she picked up the phone and hung it back up. Extremely unprofessional, I dont know how any of the women in there have jobs.

Extremely rude customer service. I had been expecting a package the day before that had said it was out for delivery, but when the mailman finally came to my house, he did not bring the package. I was home all day so there was no way I missed him knocking on the door, and there was no slip left either. Then, later on I went online to see that they had marked the package as "undeliverable". The woman on the phone was extremely rude, and basically said that I was wrong, and that its with the carrier and there isnt anything they can be done. So basically now I just have to wait day in and day out until this post office decides they want to deliver my package.

Worst post office EVER!!!!!!! Customers using this post office beware!!!! I am a customer, I pay for my packages to be delivered and they never are!!!! There is a note stating to please ring the doorbell for packages and the mail carrier never does!!!! A call to the supervisor should help...Nope her only response was I dont know why he didnt deliver it and I cant contact him!!!! This is bad customer service all day!!!! When I use UPS I never have this issue!!!! From now ion Ill gladly pay a couple of extra dollars to make sure I will get my packages on time!!!!

WORST post office I have ever encountered. The people who answer the phone are rude and snarky. They held my mail without my consent for weeks and then got an attitude when I complained. I am also STILL waiting on a package that was mailed via USPS over a month ago, and when I called and simply asked if packages are ever held there for any reason the woman said, "I dont know! Call back and ask your carrier!" So rude! Youre better off driving an extra 10 minutes to Solon or Garfield Hts. for service.

Worst post office dont go here. Dont ask for help. Dont call them because obviously they have better things to do than their job." Michele" was very rude and snapped at me when I asked to pick up my package. I asked her why she was talking to me as so she replied you wouldnt believe the way people talk to me. Well I didnt ask that. When I was walking out she blurted what is she 12? I stepped back in and let her know I heard that. She needs to go. Will never go back.

Technically, my postman is the epidamy of what not to be. I have lost count of the number of complaints that Ive put in. He crumbles my mail/packages regardless of how many times Ive asked him not to and regardless of how many times Ive complained to the supervisor. Im home daily but get slips for "undeliverable " packages. I cant imagine how he is even working in this position. Ive decided theres no sense in complaining because nothing with be done about it.

Had a package that was dropped by DHL to the post office to deliver. when they saw that the forward rule from my last address had expired they sent it back to the company. The forward rule was FROM a different city TO Bedford. NOT the other way round. They suck. the guy who answered the phone was clueless. I never got a call back from him or the guy who screwed it up. Poor customer service.

VERY RUDE MANAGER!!!!! 1star is giving her too much credit. Called to have a package held on Saturday, waited 1/2 hour as they searched only to be insulted by a female manager insinuating that i go back to my section 8 apartment and track down the mail carrier. And dont try calling for you will be met with more rudeness and a impolite hang up in your ear. Will try to avoid this place in the future!

The customer service via phone call was so freaking terrible that I almost went up there !! Wow! They need a whole new team. Im not understanding why my package ended up in Bedford when Im in Parma. Not only that, but they shipped my package to a different address from mines and got mad when I called to check up on it. They ought to be ashamed going into work.

ZERO POINT ZERO STARS! They dont even attempt to deliver the packages. At 9am they already say the package is undeliverable. No tag at the house because they didnt even go. The mail delivery doesnt even come to the neighborhood until 3pm! Bunch of lazy morons. Way to represent the federal government!
