Motorcars downtown is the best. David, Denise, and Jeff are the most awesome people in the world. I initially went there to get a scan of a recently purchased used car. Not only did David go over the issues that needed to be addressed with the car in the most layman terms as possible, he didnt charge me a single penny. He was very clear, patient, and sincere. What pleased me the most was the fact that he didnt frame the car problems as things that needed to be fixed "right now," which I suspect happens in some places, especially when the customer is not well versed in cars, as its the case for me. He just gave me a genuine assessment. Denise is always kind and patient when I call and try to set up appointment. Jeff is amazing, he dropped me off home and picked me up, all part of the customer service experience. Today I was there for an oil change, and again, great service all-around. Dave gave me a $5 discount and didnt even bring it up, which I really admired. I found out about it as I was going over my receipt. The folks at Motorcars Downtown take care of business, do an outstanding job, and they dont waste your time. But I find most striking about this place is Daves honesty, and a sense that he cares. They are not after your money in this place, they just tell you the truth, and you decide, no pressure whatsoever. Rest assured that at Motorcars Downtown, your car is the best hands, and they go above and beyond to satisfy the customer. I will absolutely return there for car service and would recommend it to a loved-one without hesitation.

Caveat Emptor! Run, dont walk, from this place...only bigger rip off I can think of is Safeway Tires., Youll be walking anyway if you let these clowns mess with your car. Go in for a oil change and ask to have a squeak checked, walk out with expensive repairs that do NOTHING to address the squeak you asked to have fixed. $400 bucks later its still there. I took it back to ask if they ever even test drove it to see if it was fixed and they admitted it had not been! But thats not all, they then tried to make it my fault because I showed up 45 min late for the repair appointment?, coupled with other bs excuses, they tried to intimidate me when I called them on their bs. Service manager uses bully tactics to intimidate, instead of stepping up to the plate. Anything to shirk responsibility for repairs made that did NOT address the problem. It took one quick look under the hood in the dark by another mechanic to see my struts were bent up, but no, these people had to put it on a lift and try to make up an expensive reason why the car had a squeak, and separate me from my hard earned money. These people are ass kissers when they think they can make a buck on you, and hostile bullies after you complain about their shoddy diagnostics and service. Never Again.

I found a high quality repair shop for my Volvo near my office. Repairs were done right the first time and they reported on the condition of my vehicle. I asked for OEM parts, that was no problem. Denise took care of me with efficiency and caring. There were two items I asked them to do--they didnt do them because they said they werent needed--imagine that. I highly recommend this repair shop to anyone who loves quality automobile service from people who care. Now, for those who like to read there are some other items that deserve mentioning. When I arrived for my repair I was taken immediately and then taken to and from my office. They have a waiting room, if you can wait, that has fresh baked chocolate chip cookies, fresh coffee, TV, newspaper, comfortable chairs, tables and clean rest rooms. When I picked up my car it had been washed and ready at the time promised. By the way, two of my family members have Hondas and love the Downtown Honda Service Center.

I called Motorcars in need of an emergency tire repair. They were very nice to me over the phone when I called. They offered me same day auto service and shuttle service so that I could return to work while they performed work on my car. I was very impressed with the customer service, the integrity and quality of the mechanical work and estimation of potential car maintenance issues. Dave and Denise were honest and upfront about the work being performed on my car and the costs associated with the work. Dave took time to discuss the potential cost to repair my tire with me over the phone before performing any work on my car and Denise battled the Downtown evening rush hour traffic to pick me up from work and shuttle me back to pick up my car before 6:00pm. The Motorcars team were very knowledgeable and treated me and other customers during my time in the office with care and concern. I would recommend Motorcars to anyone and will return as a loyal. customer.

I have been bringing my car to Motorcars Downtown since I purchased it in 2007, and I have gotten the best service. My car runs great because the mechanics are top notch and Denise, Dave and Jeff are the most courteous and helpful customer service representatives that you will ever find. They are exceptionally knowledgeable about your cars needs and extremely helpful in making sure that you are making the right decisions for your vehicle. The location is the best since I work downtown and you can always get an appointment night or day. I pray that for as long as I am able to drive, the Motorcars Downtown Service Center will always be available, I cant imagine taking my car anywhere else! Denise is the best!! Love you girl!!!

i went there and told them what error code i had which was P2111. they told me there will be charged to "inspect" the problem. after waiting for almost 1 hour they come back with a code that i already knew which is P2111. and they charge me $35 for that. they just plug in the code reader to charge me. they never think if there is any possible way to fix the problem. they never inspect your car problem . all they know is to plug in and replace parts with high price. they told me the cost to fix your car is $1200 +$250 labor. i went back home and fix it in 30 mint with not replacement part. and i plug in the code reader to check it, guess what!! no error codes, no pending codes anymore :). im not mechanic or an expert btw.

Dave was great getting my car in to get repaired (1/2 axel and boot replaced and heater core replace) reasonable prices ( cost no option just wanted the repairs done correctly) They have a shuttle to take you to and from the shop and fast repair time. That being said the reason for only 3 stars is because when the 1/2 axel was replace someone other then me decided that because the seals where not leaking before the repair there for not needed (2 other mechanics said the seal should be replaced when having the axel replaced) now I have to pay another 300.00$ to have the 1/2 axel removed to install the seal and replaced.

Ive been going to Motorcars Downtown Service Center for well over ten years and customer service has always been excellent. The amenities, such as shuttle service if you work downtown, washing your car, providing coffee, water and cookies, etc., are nice. But what makes this Service Center special is the personal attention they give their customers. Researching problems, discussing options, following up with Honda if necessary are just a few examples of the extra mile they go for their customers. Even when I didnt work downtown I continued to go to Motorcars Downtown for the people and the service!
