DO NOT GO HERE!!! Many other service shops around Lakeland that would be a better choice, trust me. I went in and asked for the most basic oil change, and how much it would cost. The employee gave me attitude, pissed that I was getting the cheapest option for service. I am a college student, and cant afford to pay $50 for a whole work-up every time, sorry. Im knowledgeable with cars, and asked if the filter would be changed during the service, and he told me "yes" with more attitude. After my car was finished I got out of there as quick as I could. BUT YOU WILL NEVER GUESS WHAT HAPPENS NEXT. So about 2 weeks later, my headlights stopped working so I took my car to the Toyota dealership. The employee told me I could redeem a free service, including car wash and oil change so I said sure why not cant hurt. The employee then told me after the service that the oil had recently been changed but whoever serviced the car didnt change the filter. REALLY MIDAS REALLY!!! YOU CHANGED THE FILTER??? LIAR LIAR PANTS ON FIRE. Youve been caught. I feel so bad for the actual guys working out in the garage at Midas. (NOT the a******* working the office). The guys in the garage were friendly and courteous. They should take their skills elsewhere and work for a better company. Needless to say, Im a busy person and if I took this long to write a review you know it was warranted. TAKE YOUR BUSINESS ELSEWHERE UNLESS YOU LOVE THEIVES

Total Incompetence is all I can offer. This chop shop installed the incorrect size rear rotors on our 2005 Chevy Suburban. Over a couple of months we began to hear a sudden single loud clang when reversing. I had the truck at the dealer for routine transmission service and asked the tech if he could track down the source. When he took apart the wheel, even he was astonished at what he found. The rotor that was on the truck from Midas was significantly smaller in diamater and thickness. The brake pads (which were probably the correct size) were to big for the rotor and actually overhung the top of the rotor, and to tie everything up the brake pads were not secured with the correct clips and were actually moving! Midas placed my wife and family in danger by their shoddy work and complete lack of attention to detail. I have started the process with customer care to get this issue resolved. There will be future post outining and documenting either great customer care or the lack there of. In the mean time be cautious of this shop at 3250 South Florida Ave in Lakeland Fl.

Not very engaging customer service. I did a oil change and they wanted to charge $35 for a conventional change. I said I had a coupon and he applied it without looking and after i noticed that was was charged $25 not the $19.99 i had the coupon for. After they told me that I had a gasket leak and it would be $1000 for parts and labor. I said Id think about it and after looking up the parts at discount auto parts. It came to $35 for a rubber gasket. Will not return here.

I went in for an oil change. They check my car and told me there was other things wrong with my car. I paid for them but then once I left my car was making a loud noise. I brought it back to them to check it out and the guy tells me he wouldnt even look at it unless I was willing to pay 100 for it. I went to another place and they told me a metal was bent hitting the muffler. Im not sure if it was intentional or not but I will never be going back there again.

They were supposed to do a simple brake job, but they instead messed them up and gave me brakes that creaked and grinded. To make matters worse, they never acknowedged the problem, blamed it on an old car, and did nothing about it. They wouldnt even give me the owners number to do something about it. Everyone that works there is a rude, lazy liar that cant do his job well and will screw you out of a few hundred dollars. Do NOT go here.

Asked them to find out where the oil leak was coming from in my car. The result was them showing me a product I could buy and find the leak myself. I dont own a black light or A CAR LIFT. I wouldnt have asked them to look at it if I did. I would have asked them to fix my AC, but Im afraid they would of just told me how to install a new compressor instead of doing the job I asked them to. Lazy or incompetent, maybe both.

Do not use this shop. I refused to let them do $500 in work so they put grease on my muffler that made my car burn thick white smoke for an hour. Complained to them and to corporate about it they said they "had to talk to store owner." Never heard anything else after follow ups over next few weeks. I had problem fixed for $70 at another shop.

Excellent service with the new management that has recently been put in the store. Night and day service. Went in for oil change and was treated fairly and professionally. The old guys that were in there were disrespectful and shady! Way to step up your game MIDAS! Definitely will be Back again!

I called to make an appointment to get my brakes done. I was told just come in and they will evaluate it BEFORE they could give me a basic price. Then put me on hold for over five minutes before they lost me as a customer forever. Thanks for being a waste of time.

no stars took one of my cars in for a service they kept the car for 1 hour didnt do the service and tried to upsell me by $300 but charged me for the service anyway if you like not getting what you pay for this is the place for you

Absolutely lost me as a customer. Employee stole from my car. I talked to manager to resolve this and he did nothing. I used a coupon which included tire rotation with oil change and they didnt even do a tire rotation! Just a bunch of lazy thieves

The guy who installed my exhaust didnt know what he was doing. A bolt on system that they half assed welded while putting a whole in the pipe. I will never be back.
