I was a time Warner customer for 8yrs. Obviously over the years I experienced some cost increases as speed and internet quality advanced, no big deal. HOWEVER once spectrum took over my bill increased nearly $31 for me to receive the EXACT SAME SERVICE I had before. When I called to inquire I was told that the package prices increased with the new provider. They were completely unwilling to match the "new customer" pricing my neighbor received which would have put me within $5 of my previous rate simply because I am "an existing customer". Why would a company punish the loyal customers who have stayed with the service even after the transition by raising their rates? This makes no sense to me! The least they could have done would be to match my previous rate!! Why does changing their name give them the right to dig deeper into my pocket!? I will be switching to at&t at the end of this billing cycle. They lost a long term customer over what only amounts to $372 a year because of poor customer service. Hope it was worth it.

My price escalated over six years from $89 to $176. I then went to internet only, and when inquiring about this, found that they had reduced my internet speed without asking me to do so while still charging for a faster speed. I went in a few days ago to cancel my service and return their modem, but there were twelve people in line in front of me and I was in the middle of moving and didnt have time to wait. There were only two tellers present when there could have been four. Now Im still paying for my service because the only way to cancel is by returning your equipment. I hope I can get there after work before they close or I will have to wait until Saturday while paying for a service Im not even using. Time Warner is a good example of a bad company.

Currently have the full package. Phone is decent, Cable is ok, Internet is garbage. Supposedly, the internet disconnects approximately every 30 minutes or after drawing so much bandwidth in a given time period due to the lines that were ran to the house being out-dated. They are unwilling to do anything regarding the lines to improve the quality of the internet. Most things besides simple e-mail and browsing are not possible, but the 73% loss of packets I experience says that there is something seriously wrong. Apparently since only 27% of the packets successfully reach their servers, we should only have to pay 27% of the bill until something is done.

I switched from AT&T U Verse because after 4 years of service they couldnt extend anymore promotions and I was looking at a $120.00 increase in my bundle. They kept pushing me to Direct TV. which I did not want. My experience with TWC has been excellent to date with great internet speed and cable quality. I am not under a contract or promotions. It is yet to be seen if the price I am paying will remain but I have a premium package that cost me considerable less money per month. The tech who came to my house is also to be complemented on his attention to detail and ingenuity. Extremely happy so far. Keep up the good work TWC.

Not even worthy of 1 star. I cancelled my phone and cable service at the end of April. I was told my bill would be $69.99 for internet/wifi. I am being charged over $193 for May and $83+ for June. I know 3 other people paying: $45, $55, and $65 for internet service from Spectrum in the same town as me. I am on my 4th person trying to get my bill to the $69.99+ tax that I was told it would be. They just want to "explain" my bill and wont correct the amount. I am filing a complaint with the BBB and will most likely cancel service with them all together. Since Spectrum has taken over, it has been nothing but problems.

I didnt really like much of anything about it. I feel I was conned from the beginning. I was told there would be no need to run any cables. I explain to the lady (Kenisha) that I had taken out all the excess cables and didnt want any ran and she said that would not be necessary, but when I picked up the cable box the first thing the instructions says is plug the coaxial cable from the wall outlet into the cable equipment. The only cable I have coming into my house goes to the internet modem and that is in a room too far from my TV to connect to the cable box.

I spent the last two hours trying to set up the self install because they forgot to provide me with a splitter. After going to the store and puchasing one, I come home and get everything put together to find out I have to wait until the following day for someone to come out and "activate" it . So much for easy installation. And the customer service (in office) wasnt great. Condescending...as if Im just supposed to know what to do! I never write reviews, so be warned...you need a great deal of patience when dealing with TWC.

Horrible customer service. Wouldnt recommend this provider for anyone. I had a bill of 400$ because we moved and I missed a payment. So they shut eveerything off and told me i would have to pay half my bill to get it turned on for 10days then pay the other half do i paid 300$ more than half and told them well now they want me to pay half again plus half my next bill. And my cable is still off. There liars and crooks. I do not recommend this company to anyone.

Since India has had a major earth quake I have been getting Americans taking care of my needs. So things have actually gotten done correctly and I can understand what they are saying! Hope it gets better! Before the earth quake in India I would give them a one star because those India people they had answering the phone couldnt do anything! Keep up with Americans workers! The old India workers are terrible and say "YES YES" but dont do a thing!

Im paying $100 a month for Internet and cable. Our internet speed is at 3mb when Im paying for 15. And I havent had cable since I switched to them. Awesome. Glad Im throwing my money away. Worst company ever.

Cable gets higher and higher. Ads are deceptive. They advertise $29.99 and then add $5 for a box and $10 for broadcast (whatever that is). Add tax and you are up to $50.
