i have had time warner since they have change over to this company and i have had nothing but trouble with my account and services ..it has been a nightmare. when i pay a large amount of money to get the services but i have to call every two weeks hours on the phone about the same problem, so i would advice anyone that wants to get service please do not get in any packets or promotions get a simple packet with just local channels ..or you will end in a mess. always make sure you get paperwork stating what promotion you will be in and when it will end..if there was another cable company i would be there but because we are stuck with one here ..i have no other choice but to keep wasting money or do i any advice from any body that might be sharing the same problems i would like to know how to end his night mare ..i have given this company more then enough of my time and more then enough of my money for services that i hardly get..after looking at what i have paid this company for services i dont even recieve there has to be away that someone can do some investagation if i dont understand how this company gets away with this, everytime i get off the phone they say the problems has been fix but it never is then i on the phone again with someone else about the same problem how is it if i have never miss a payment and had a credit to my bill so high ..last month i called 5 times in a week and each time its something different a few times i spoke to someone that didnt even speak english ,,if any one could give me some advice on how i can have my account viewed and how do i get my money back for the last yrs of the services i paid for and did not receive i have a print out from my bank of how much money i have paid , i want to know if its possible to dispute all my payments in a yrs time if i have proof that i paid for services i didnt get..

Just went in on my lunch break to return some equipment as we just canceled our service and went with Windstream since Spectrum is twice the price with HORRIBLE customer service. My experience this afternoon just reinforced my decision. I walked in and there was one person in line ahead of me. Two people working. I waited for about 10 minutes before the lady in line ahead of me was called. They asked her if she signed in on the kiosk and she said she didnt. They said they really needed customers to do that. Hearing that, I reached back to sign myself in. The kiosk froze and I couldnt get signed in even though I tried several times. A man came in behind me and couldnt do it either. A woman came in behind him and managed to get it to work. Meanwhile, a third employee came out to work and, after having already taken a customer that came in behind me, proceeded to call the woman that was third in line behind me. I said "Excuse me, Im next in line. Ive been waiting here for 15 minutes." She asked if I signed in to the kiosk and I said no, it wouldnt work. She said I should have told an employee. I stated that they were all busy at the time. She basically said too bad, Ive already got this customer pulled up and youll have to wait. I pulled the modem out of my purse, left it on the counter and told them this is why Im no longer a Spectrum customer. I left. The customer service is abysmal, the prices are too high and they obviously dont have a great screening process for their employees. I will tell everyone I know not to use Spectrum. If I hadnt already canceled my service, this would have been the final nail in the coffin.

So many bad reviews here! However.... I felt obligated to leave a review due to having a decent experience for my area (shocking, I know, but we should give credit when its due especially when cable companies actually deliver quality service). What type of customer I am: Internet only. I game online a lot WHILE streaming netflix/hulu and having a fiance that uploads pictures to facebook all the time and having a tablet and phone that is constantly connected to my wi-fi. I have the extreme plan, which gives me 30/5 mbps. I havent done many speed tests to check it, but to be honest I never questioned it because I never had any issues. Not one issue...no outages that I noticed...no slow speeds...just constant, reliable, fast internet for about $60/mo. There are some ISPs that offer better prices and since I am about to move to downtown Columbus, I may consider switching to them (AT&T for example). However, the saying is that you get what you pay for...Im a little hesitant to switch services to something cheaper considering that my TWC internet was surprisingly flawless the last 2 years. I may stick with them for that reason alone, even if they are more expensive for the plan I have. Whether this is typical for their internet-only service I couldnt say, but I thought I would share in case it helps anyone else that is looking for internet-only service from TWC.

I hate lazy people. Time Warner Spectrum TimeWarnerCableSucks TIME-Warner Customer service sucks. I had a cable installer not show up, when I called another came out but their was a problem with the breaker so he left, said he couldnt wait 20, minutes for my electrician who is a friend and he was on his way, took him 8 min. The guy spent 5 min. with his supervisor (Joy Willet) on the phone saying he wouldnt stay so we were down to 15 min. She said he a had a family bla, bla. and not his problem (I thought thats why we go to work every day, for our family) So my electrician made it in 8 min, the problem took 60 seconds to fix but here I sit waiting to get back on their schedule in another 5 days. If these two people dont want to do their jobs, fire them and find someone who will. What a joke. Im calling WOW and switching.

Worst place I have ever been. This place was amazing when it was TWC, service was cheaper, staff was far more efficant and friendly. Since it has become spectrum my bill has OVER doubled, they sent a new bill to collections before it was sent to me. They charged me for someone elses equipment. Made me pay a bill from previous owners in my house before I could get service. They are literally our only option in this area! This company is insane they have zero respect or concern for any customers. I have been sitting In this office over 45 minutes and watched over half the people in here leaving pissed and confused or just completely shutting their stuff off because of the things they are doing and changing all of a sudden. This is a TERRIBLE TERRIBLE company and I genuinely hope a new one comes around soon!!

I called to cancel my service on June 10, 2015. I was on the phone with them for 17mins, and at the end I said I wanted a reference number for the call. She said all you have to do is just call in we update it on your account. Now they are attempting to bill us for two months when we havent even used their services for. And they are saying they have no record of us ever calling on our account. Avoid them like the plague. This company is beyond crooked. I am now fighting with them for 500 dollars that we do not owe them for services we never used. If you are stuck with them. DEMAND a reference number for your call or ask for a supervisor to get some form of confirmation. THEY DO NOT update your account with the latest information when you call!
