After a horrible experience at the Walmart Tire & Lube in Franklin, Ohio, 45005, I went to this location. The 2-star is only because I did get tires installed here, other than that it would be 1-star. Checked in my car and had rented a car for the day, knowing from past experiences at any Walmart Tire & Lube was a very long wait. Last visit to this location was to replace 1 tire and took 2.5 hours with my car being immediately parked in the bay with auto tech on it. Another tech had problems with the car they were working on so all three techs worked on that vehicle, so renting a car to avoid waiting in the store. No wait to get in, told the tech I wanted 4 Goodyear Viva 3 tires, save the cheap tire I had purchased a couple of months ago as a spare. So I left the car and was picked up so I could get my rental. 15 minutes later the tech left me a message to call them back, even though they did not answer their line 10+ times I tried to call them the previous day. So I did call back but still did not answer even though that was the tech said to do, so the front desk had to page them to answer. 5 minutes later I talked to the tech and was told that the Viva 3 tires were not in stock, and transferred me to another person to pick different tires for the job. She checked the stock and they had 3 of the Viva 3 for my auto in stock but not 4. Since I had bought they cheap Douglass tire there a couple of months back I told them to install the 3 tires and I would go to another location for the other, simple enough but was followed up by another phone call in another 10 minutes. It was the lady I had just spoken with to tell me that their inventory is off and they had none in stock of the tire size I needed. So... I really did not want to get another 3 cheap Douglass tires, but the only other option was $40 more per tire than the Goodyear tires I wanted. Since I had a rental for the day and could keep it longer I asked how long it would be if they placed an order for the tires I wanted, and was told they cannot order the tires; they are automatically ordered when they are out of stock, but being out of stock when inventory says they have it they might not ever get them in stock again. I was given the option to drive to 3 other Walmart stores (no stores showed more than 2 in stock), purchase the tires, and deliver them to them to install. I was not comfortable in loading up and small rental car with tires, and who know if the other 3 locations "really" had them in stock. Another car that I tried to get Viva 3 tires on last year I had the same issue, never in stock. Goodyear Viva 3 at $69 per tire gets you in the door, then told after leaving you can have cheap Douglass tires at $59, or $120 for a similar tire (same 60K tread warranty). I seriously doubt they ever stock the Goodyear Viva 3 at $69/tire, just enough so they can advertise this tire that they have no ability to order themselves. Opted for the cheap Douglass tires and will replace them after 30,000-40,000 miles (if they last that long). Walmart lost the $600+ monthly food and other items for my large family years ago due to their horrible customer service and lack of cashiers, along with the thousands spent at Christmas. Saving $150-$200 for 4 tires seemed to be worth putting up with Walmart but ended up more headache than it is worth, since they never have the advertised brand-name tire in stock, whats the use trying.

If I could give zero stars I would. I went to Walmart auto center to get my oil changed for them to tell me they didnt have my filter. They advised I could go buy the filter and bring it back, I asked if they were sure Ive bought the filter there before.. they come back out with the filter and at this point have lost my keys. They finally find them and take my car into the bay and advise me itll be approx 30 min. I walk around the store and return to the auto center to find the two techs cussing up a storm under my car and a customer complaining to another employee about the lack of professionalism and her reservations about them working on her car. About an hour later One tech comes in to tell me they needed a special tool to put in my filter, which after talking to several people is not true. He is getting complaints from other customers and letting them know its because my car was complicated for them. Watching from the waiting area I see one tech ready to close my hood, when another yells at the tech trying to close my hood wanting to know why they didnt put any oil in my car. They were going to send me on my way with no oil! About an hour and thirty min later my car is done.. I drive it home Monday morning and dont drive it til Wednesday night because Im off of work. When i start my car Wednesday night my CEL comes on and my car is making a weird noise which it never did previously. One of the guys at my work popped the hood to find the techs never placed my oil cap back on and my engine has been losing pressure. My CEL was still on after replacing the cap, that luckily was up my by windshield wipers and hadnt fallen out during my drive. I took my car to autozone after I got off work and they ran a diagnostics test to tell me I have an air intake leak.. so the employee helped me fix the problem luckily and now my CEL is off. Going to Walmart auto was the worst decision, it has caused me so much stress over a simple oil change. I have made sure to tell everyone possible my experience. Dont come here just to save a few dollars, it is not worth it. Also the employee didnt have me sign for customer signature for what theyre "not responsible" for he just drew a straight line.. which Im sure if need be could be proven by the garage video. Im very disappointed and will not be back. This was a horrible way of doing business, and this is not the first instance I have read of Walmart auto messing up someones car when theyre just supposed to be performing a simple oil change. Please, save stress and car troubles and go somewhere else. Btw I have a Jetta and they were struggling this much to complete work on it.. over an hour and thirty min for an oil change.

Worst tire service Ive ever even heard of. I waited over 1.5 hrs just to get a single tire changed with no one else in front of me. Then to top it off their wonderful tire guy decided there was no reason to put my spare back in my trunk. When I called to let them know about the situation I was told that they have it still and I can pick it up at my convenience. Unfortunately I live 5 hrs away. When I told them this and asked if they could ship it to me I was told that I could pick it up and that was it. I told them that obviously wasnt going to be an option and asked what else they could do to rectify their mistake and was told yet again the spare would be there for me to pick up at my convenience. While I was there multiple people were asking for the manager. It seems that this is a horribly ran store, even for Walmarts low standards. If u have another option take it!
