DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE HERE This week they lost not only my business but my entire familys business. I took my car there and told them that i had thrown a rod and they wouldnt even give me a quote on the engine until they "fixed the fuel regulator" which they said would cost $397 because that would have made "the car start". Thats total bully because the piston rod in the engine is broken! I payed $106 dollars for them to sit there and make this stuff up because they didnt move the car at all, or even run a diagnostic because the oil pan i put under the car was still sitting exactly where I left it when I dropped it off two days previously and If they couldnt get the car started to even run a diagnostic in the first place. I was ready to try this place again after they put a faulty water pump in my previous vehicle. I thought maybe it was just the part, but no. These sorry excuses for mechanics just want your money. DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE HERE!

While driving from Ontario to Kentucky, our car developed a serious problem. Luckily it happened at exit 38 on I75 and we were referred to Schmidt Auto Care. It happened late on a Thursday afternoon and it was necessary that we continue our trip. Schmidt referred us to a towing service as well as a car rental company and we continued on leaving our vehicle in their care. The necessary repairs were completed the following day and the invoice was a fair reflection of the service rendered. We found the entire staff to be professional, knowledgeable and courteous. Everyone was very friendly (including the family dog). They turned what could have been a holiday disaster into a mere bump on the road. Thank you Schmidt Auto Care.

Schmidts had previously identified my driveshaft carrier bearing was going contributing to vibration in my 2006 Toyota Tundra. As I was a bit cash strapped, the work needed to be delayed for about a month. When I called to schedule the work, they quickly found a mutually agreeable time slot that worked around my hectic schedule. It took a little longer than we had hoped, but as the shaft was sent out of the shop for alignment, it was to be expected. Best part is , the vibration from the drive shaft is gone, and the bill was significantly less than the quote (dont expect that to happen, as they had to guess how much the other shop would charge, and nobody wants the actual cost to be higher than the estimate!!!)

Called to get a quote for an issue that I had already done troubleshooting on. Person I spoke with was unwilling to give me a straight answer even after explaining to him that we had already done some troubleshooting, were pretty sure what the issue was, and that I just wanted an idea on what the cost would be to have someone else fix it for me. Not sure if its policy for them to treat everyone like they dont know what theyre talking about, or if it was because Im a woman. Either way, I definitely wont be calling again and I wouldnt ever take my car here.

Schmidt Auto Care has been nothing but great. I started going to them last fall after being fed up with the service and attention to detail I was getting from the mechanics I use to go to. Schmidt auto care has since been nothing but fantastic. Ready willing to answer any and all questions and never pushes to get something done unless it is really necessary. If this place ever goes out of business Ill have to start riding a bike. ONLY people I trust, will not try and rip you off like the other clowns out there. Went in for a pretty complex job, that other mechanics took weeks to complete (and never did, car just sat for days). Erich got the car, fixed it the next day. Runs like a dream! these guys rule

Cant get better service. Just great people to do business with. You dont run into mechanics as honest as Eric these days, its a nice change. If you have vehicle issues, he may be able to save you money. He saved me 900 dollars on my transmission.
