My issue seems to be more with the route drivers. I guess there must be a new route driver every day. Some of us have health issues or physical conditions that do not allow us to check on our mailboxes every day especially in bad weather. Calling the local postal office results in being told it will be corrected but it consistently repeats. Im sick of getting my mail sopping wet due to rain and snow because the route carriers cannot ensure that the mailbox lid is securely closed!
