Ladies and Gentlemen, yesterday I bought my first "big girl" car. After a lot of researching, my husband and I decided that our next car would probably be something in the SUV family and we had it narrowed down between two different car manufacturers. On Saturday we set out in our SUV tryout quest. Our morning actually saw us at a different Subaru dealership that is closer to where we live. While the sales representative was polite and kind, the rest of the experience there was not. There were a few things, at first, that didnt sit right with me as far as how I felt I was treated as a woman and customer but I was willing to overlook those. But after that my husband and I quickly realized that this other dealership was trying play games with us. We waited over 30 minutes for price quotes on a few different Forester models we were looking at and were never given the numbers. At one point when my husband walked away to take a phone call from the insurance adjuster, I happened to overhear portions what "the numbers guy" (thats what the sales representative was calling him) was telling our sales representative to push on us. We walked out of that dealership with a bad taste in our mouth. We went to a different dealership to test a different SUV make and model and got a good price for it. Called back the first Subaru dealership and they still (4 HOURS later) wouldnt give us any quotes or numbers on the models and packages they were going to price out for us. I really liked the Subaru Forester better than the other model car I test drove and so we decided to make the extra few miles trek out to Ganley and give them a try. When we walked it was like a breath of fresh air. From the first step in the door, my husband and I were both greeted by Brad as equals. I know it sounds crazy, but trust me there are still some (not many, but some) dealerships and/or sales people out there that typically assume they need to talk to the man (even once they know its the woman buying the car) and they will spend the entire time talking to the man so that the woman feels like the third wheel. Its sad but Ive definitely experienced it. But that is DEFINITELY NOT the case at Ganley! Everyone is SO nice and kind. The other sales people that we were introduced to are also really nice and funny. Brad, our salesman, was awesome!!!! He took us on a tour of the whole area and showed us around the service area, waiting and kids area, explained car drop off and transport options while the car is getting worked on, etc. He really took his time with us showing and explaining all the different service areas of Ganley Subaru to us and introduced us. The service/shop area is immaculate and impressive. Even my husband (and it can sometimes take a lot to impress him) was impressed by the cleanliness of their shop floor and service area in general. Brad took us on a nice test drive that gave me a better understanding of how the Forester would handle different types of road surfaces (including railroad tracks!) and the freeway. It really felt like a more thorough test-drive, when we were done, then what Id gotten at the other dealership that morning just driving down the road and back. He was very knowledgeable about all the features available on the Forester Premium. When it was time to run numbers, we received a quick, no nonsense, no games fair price from Ganley. It was SO refreshing. Brad even took extra time, after all the paperwork was signed to help set up my phone to the car and get some of the radio features set. Im pretty sure that the dealership was closing and there he is in the Forester helping us get setup! Thank you so much to Brad and everyone at Ganley! You made the whole car buying process very painless. So glad we decided to extend the car shopping trip out to you guys!

Worst Car shopping experience of my life. I called Ganley Subaru at 5:52 pm. I talked to a very polite receptionist ,cant remember her name unfortunately. I asked her about a very specific car (2014 Subaru wrx base model with some modifications done to it). She told me that they still have the car and asked if I would be coming in to look at it . I informed her that i would be and she took my name and number. At 6:09 p.m. Ken Johnson sent me a text asking to call him if i have the time. I call and talk to ken. After getting grilled for 5 mins on how serious I was about buying the car. I told him when I would be up there to look at it and test drive it. He informed me that most of the sales people would busy with other customers and I might have to wait. Also that he was already leaving for the day. Ken told me before we got off the phone to give him a call when was on my way. I called at 7:06pm when we were getting off the free way only to be reach a voice mail. We entered the lot and i knew everyone was busy so we walked around a little and looked for said car and could not find it. after walking around for twenty minutes with no one even asking if we have been helped i walk in the sales office only to be ignored until Jeff was able to step away and try and get some one to help me. After being passed around by a couple people we land on josh. Who was so horrid at his job that he stopped helping us to do things for "other customers" now it was nearing 8:00 and still they have not even shown us the car and could not locate the keys. It was not until after 8 that they said their master maniac had locked the keys up but they wanted me to test drive something else that was no where near the same as the car i was coming to look at. So i called ahead for no reason drove 45 minutes both ways in a lease to not see a car the whole point of calling a head was so they can get everything ready. I mean i already got grilled on weather i was serious about buying it or not. I had to leave the only saving grace to this place was a sales woman named Candi who was the only one that wanted to sell on the car but she did not want to step on a fellow salesmans toes by doing so. I dont think i will be going back anytime soon and if i do and thats a big if i will only work with her.

bought 2 subarus there in 3 years. my impreza started having rust appear on the hatch at 7k miles. no big deal, right? i take it up there in march, they told me it was glue. took it back, cleaned it up, sent me on my way. 2 weeks later, rust stains running down the hatch again. take it back, they agreed to fix it. week later, picked the car up thinking it was ok. at the dealer, i noticed the interior pieces were not in place right. all the clips holding them in were broken. they said they would order them and call me in about a week. a month goes by, no call. i call them, they said they forgot about it and they would order them and call me in a week. month later, still no call. in the mean time, while washing the car, i noticed a mark in the paint where someone had touched the paint while it was wet, then clear coated over it. go back up to the dealer, they agreed to fix it. few day later, i pick up the car. paint is fine, get home, interior pieces still not right. go back to the dealer, they fix the plastics. i get home, drive the car for a couple weeks, clean my car out and find that the interior pieces are cracked. was thinking of trading my outback in on a new outback, but i will not be returning to this dealer. they offered me a free oil change, as if i would trust them to work on my car again. as an update, the car has been in twice since the above review. the first time, they just confirmed that the interior pieces were broken. the second time, they took the car back into the service shop, i waited 15-20 minutes, they come get me, tell me the car was finished, i open the hatch, see the broken pieces were replaced, but also notice the center piece was now loose. they take me back inside and the service technician said yeah, those clips still need to be replaced. so the service manager is telling me the car is done, but the tech is still saying its not. so once again, they attempted to pass off an unfinished job as being complete. so they come up with the plan to fix it at my house, fine, saves me a trip. i go to leave and close my hatch, there are now pieces of something rattling around inside the body panels of the hatch...
