1/28/17 update: There have not been two instances over the past few years where Ive tried to pay GerBrock and they wouldnt let me. Today it was because they didnt look at my spare tire for a flat when I asked them to (they looked at all the others and found a couple punctures). For this 20 minute delay they comped my oil change and tire work. They truly are great people to work with. Update: Ive been going to GerBrock ever since this review and couldnt be happier with their service! Previous Post: I went to Ger-Brock after reading these reviews. Due to a miscommunication, Ger-Brock ended up charging me for work I never requested. After talking with Don, he refused to charge me for the extra work (even after I offered to pay for some of it). I got off to a bit of a rough start with Ger-Brock, but they were up-front and honest about their mistakes through the entire process. They also stayed in communication as problems arose. Im happy with the service I received. There were some bumps in the road, but they made sure I came away a happy customer. Everyone makes mistakes, but most dont people dont take the time to admit and correct them. Ger-Brock did.

As a woman car owner whos car savvy enough to know when Im being ripped off but not savvy enough to fix everything myself, Ger-Brock is amazing. Twice Ive gone in and they suggested that the problem was something that I could take care of myself with a quick and cheap trip to napa or autozone - once my gas cap seal went bad once my brake fluid was just walking the line of being too low and switching the sensor off and on. Both times they did a quick diagnosis and didnt even charge me! Theyve also been very helpful over the phone with quick questions. Ive sent many friends their way, and every single one of them has been very happy with the experience. This shop is honest, straight forward and fair . The kind of place that reminds you what businesses can be. The only downfall is that its a little hard to spot. Which maybe is a good thing so that theyll still have time for me. Id give them 6 stars if I could!

I love this place. I drive an 80s Toyota van that most mechanics either wont touch or over charge me for. Honestly, I have had mechanics tell me straight up that they wont work on them because the engine is so difficult to get to. Ger Brock has never turned me down, over charged me or tried to fix imaginary problems. I love this shop and will never take my vehicle anywhere else!!!

This WAS my mechanic for over 20 years. Sadly I will no longer be a loyal customer. They have a new manager whom Ive tried communicating with both in person and over the phone, trying to get my vehicle in for repairs. Both times he was rude and confrontational. I can no longer recommend this shop, and will no longer use them myself.

Absolutely amazing! If youre looking for a good mechanic this is the place to go! Got more help and knowledge out of my mechanic than I would have ever dreamed of. If you want an auto shop thats reliable, honest and fast dont go looking anywhere else!
