I just had a very unpleasant experience at this postal station. I was trying to send valuable documents via Registered Mail, insured. There were no registered mail forms visible; I asked for one from the woman behind the counter. I was asked about 3 times, "Are you sure you want to send this registered? Are you sure you dont want to just send it insured?" I filled out the form, and the woman tried to charge me the fee without any insurance. When I pointed this out to her, she said, "Youll have to go to the 50th Ave post office! I wont do this!", and she even ripped up the form that I had filled out. I dont think she knew what she was doing - she didnt seem to. So I went to the Post Office at 50th Avenue, where my business was handled very helpfully and pleasantly, thank goodness! I think in the future Ill use the regular post office, and just deal with the longer lines there; they have always been professional and knowledgeable, in my experience - worth the wait.

Not the place to head to if you need a legitimate post office, and youre running close to 5 (the posted closing time). Came in at 4:45, had to pull Cash from the ATM next door because they dont take cards. They dont issue receipts beyond handwritten slips. Clerk told me to be quick about getting my cash because the mail guy was only there for another 5 minutes. "Whenever he wants to leave, he makes the rules". Had a parcel they asked if I wanted Priority, I said no, then they said "to Seattle you dont have a choice"-- it was under 10 bucks and I didnt have time to question it. She told me "next time come a little earlier". I told her I would have gone to a regular post office if I had realized this was not one. I left at 4:50, they still had ten minutes but felt the need to pressure me to rush and chastise me for coming in at 4:45. Terrible experience. I guess this is why they didnt have a line...

I came here regardless of all the terrible reviews... simply because it was closest to me at the time. I went in just to drop off 2 packages that were all ready to go...and the lady immediately yelled that those arent just given out and I needed to buy them....I told her I got them another location and was just dropping them off. Then she looked at me and said..."yeah, this is where you drop them off...youre the one who came in her looking to drop them off, didnt you?" And when I told her that I was responding to the fact that she started off by telling me I needed to pay for the boxes as I walked in the entrance she seriously said to me " I wasnt even talking to you" ....Like I was the one in the wrong for coming Im with 2 boxes to ship? What! I went In willing to give the benefit of the doubt...Im sorry but I will not be coming back.

The WORST customer service! I was in line for over 20 minutes, with only 3 people in front of me, because they were doing their chores (counting stamps etc) rather than waiting on the people who were in front of them. Seriously.... they just went about their business and ignored the growing line of people. Then when I handed her the padded, flat rated postal envelope, she acted like she had never seen one in her life, had no idea what it was, then stated "they didnt sell them, so she didnt know how much the postage was". Huh? Arent they a certified postal provider?? Not to mention she says the same thing every time I mail one! Incompetance and no idea what real customer service is..... the same thing has happened almost every time I have gone there. Next time I will go to a real post office....

This is not an official USPS location. If you write them a check, you will make it out to US Postmaster. Ive been several times and they never ask if theres anything liquid, fragile, perishable, etc. They have also never asked how fast I want to ship something. So full service it is not, but if you need to mail something and dont care how long it takes to get there, or you just need stamps or some really basic mailing supplies (selection is limited), this place will get the job done.

Called to get pricing on PO boxes, and the woman who answered the phone was COMPLETELY CLUELESS!! She didnt even know the pricing of their boxes. I asked her what their sequence of numbers were for their boxes, and I gave her an example," are the boxes numbered 100 through 400?" She was like... HUH?! And later during the conversation confirmed 100 - 400. DUH!! Stay away if you want SERVICE

i have never had so many issues getting packages on time or even getting them, today i should have gotten a package but for some reason the person delivering the mail decided today my address was undeliverable yet i get packages sent to my addy all the time. im not sure whats going on with this station but i think they need to start drug testing.

I like this post office and the older women who work here. So what if they arent trying to brown nose me? Maybe the customers need to try a smile. As they say, youll catch more bees with honey than you will with vinegar. The old school vibes are appreciated, sass and all. Sometimes people need to take a little sass and sit their humble butts down.

I was trying to set up a mailbox, but the girl who answered the phone sounded stoned out of her head, and couldnt give me the most basic answers about the mailboxes. As I asked more questions, she interrupted me to tell me that she had to go because there was a lot of mail and they were going to pick up soon. Ill go elsewhere, thank you.

I called before I came in with a question about shipping and the woman who answered the phone was very rude. I should have steered clear based on the call. She was just as rude and condescending in person. I would not reccomend this post office if it was the last one on earth. Nice location though :)
