DO NOT GO HERE. I have never in my entire 32 years of living, have experienced such rude service. I had at least 5 separate things to be mailed out. Certified letters, return packaging, local mail, international mail and something else that needed to be returned. I start with the certified letters, as I have never sent any before. This Asian lady with glasses, hands me these 2 forms and says you need to fill these out. My husband was with me, so I said, Ok, Ill get my husband to fill these out, as were working on the other things I need. So, I have a shirt that I needed returned with an envelope and the return postage, but I needed tape or glue, just to get it onto the envelope. Shes all like, we cant mail that without tape, we dont provide that for you. Okay. Next, I try getting my cards mailed out. Some were domestic, some were to Canada. Now shes all like, you have to buy your stamps outside. Well. I have had cards returned to me. Regular cards, returned, and that I needed to pay the correct postage. Well. She tells me to go outside, to purchase stamps. She tells me to step out of the line, and get all my stuff done, and that I can reenter the line without waiting. HEY LADY, YOU HAVENT HELPED me with a single thing. We pay our taxes, for your salary, and you are the worst person, I have EVER encountered. I can no longer, step foot into that post office. Maybe if you were Vietnamese, you would get preferential treatment, as 2 people ahead of me, got laughter and she spent a few minutes with each person. Mind you, I am ethnic, but not Vietnamese. AVOID THIS OFFICE. HELL, go to FOSTER...ANYWHERE but HERE

I had a document that I needed to return to the Social Security Office in Auburn, WA. The envelope was the size of a half sheet of paper so I wasnt sure what the postage would be so I took it to my local USPS Office at Eastport Plaza. I arrived at 10 minutes after 5:00 pm and they close at 5:30 pm. When I first went in I checked the self-service kiosk in the outer lobby to see if I could ascertain what the postage would be. A woman there told me it would be 98 cents and the kiosk had a minimum charge of $1.00 so I went into wait in line with the other people there, naturally it was slow going. At 5:20 pm the lady from the front came in to ask if she could help anyone who could use a debit or credit card. I volunteered myself and she proceeded to help me through each step of using the kiosk to procure my postage by showing me the choices necessary to print my $1.00 postage. She was a very busy and efficient (and pleasant) person and Im glad that she was willing to help me.

Welcome to Oregon now go home. I went there 3 times, paid for a PO Box online, I went in bringing 2 forms of ID I was told to bring in some mail with the address on it, I complied bringing in a utility bill to be told they needed a rental agreement or lease agreement I looked online and didnt see anything pertaining to this. I went back in for a refund or a box. I was told to go to my bank and file a grievance to get my money refunded and that the lease/rental agreement was a new policy (hard to do when you just move from out of state and are renting a room. What a nightmare and no mail from California for over 2 weeks now.

By far the best experience I have ever had a postal office! Had a short line that moved quickly. I had questions about my passport and even though they dont accept passport paperwork, the lady gave me all the information I needed and explained the process in a way that was easy to understand and gave me all my options . She was also very kind and professional unlike other locations I have visited in the past. Im very impressed even though this really should be the standard of customer service.

Mostly l wanted to find out if the letter I was going to send would go out this afternoon. I called the Eastport location twice during their retail hours and each time the phone rang for 3 1/2 minutes then cut off. Tried the Lents branch with same results. I remember getting much better service in the past. This seems like the ongoing sabotage of a great system in order to privatize it. Judging from some of the other reviews this seems deliberate.

Every time I go there every employee seems to have a bad attitude. After asking a simple question about how much stamps some of my mail requires in detail, a female employee didnt give out too much helpful info about the number of stamps and when finally getting a word of it she had a belittling attitude towards me and responded back like if I was a stupid little kid. If you dont enjoy your job, dont take out your frustrations on the customers.

The Asian lady behind the counter is very rude brought in a small box for shipping and she said it was overweight to go and repack it... Threw it in the out box on the way out and they shipped it without a problem they need customer service skills all of them should get fired and nice and friendly people need to get hired at this location IF YOU DONT LIKE YOUR JOB QUIT IT THEN!

Less than a 1 star. My mail person has been delivering someone elses mail to me for a year now despite repeated communication saying that person doesnt live here. I tried calling this location and someone didnt want to do their job and answer the phone so they just let it ring and ring. 4 phone calls in a row and it wad before they closed at 530. Ill be calling a supervisor now.

What can I say? They never seem to have enough people working behind the counter. But those who are working are very friendly and helpful. I dont hold any issue with the postal workers. I think the problem is that the postal service is trying to do more with less. Anyway, The postal service has yet to lose my mail, so I really cant complain.

This is my local post office and I have been here dozens of times, both to use self serve machine and be helped at the counter. If it is the week of a holiday, expect a wait. Theres not much that can be done about that with USPS budget cuts. The service is very efficient, some employees have been there forever and know their stuff.

Ive had to track down and intercept lost packages twice over the last year. Both times, the staff at the Lents location were friendly, patient, and able to manually fix errors over the phone that were in no way the fault of USPS--and most importantly get me my stuff when I really needed it. So glad this is MY post office.

Carol Ann, a post office worker here, gave me the greatest gift of all, a sense of humor. People mattered to her, and I felt it. I will come back here if only to appreciate her with people. She found a way to make something impossible, possible. What I call a Yes person.
