I had my BMW X3 3.0 towed into Elite Auto Service. It had in my opinion a very serious problem. It would not run, barely idle. I talked to Layne on the phone about my problem and he made me feel confident that he could fix it, I am thinking it may cost alot to get it running. He called me shortly after and found the problem that ended up being a simple fix and not cost very much. He had it running and went through and found some serious problems that needed fixing, water pump that was almost burned out, motor mounts were broken, I told him to fix it as he was very reasonable in the price to fix. I picked the car up and was running smooth, very pleased indeed. Shortly after I was driving and it did a stall, ( come to find out it had a bad throttle body also) I called him and he was very concerning and told me to bring it back and he would look at it for free since I already had it diagnosed once. He found the problem, he had a used one laying around and he just charged me for the labor. $189. I was very pleased at this point and had him do some front end work as well. I can say now that my car is feeling near new even with a lot of miles on it. Its responsive and handles well. I will go into the summer confident it will get me where Im going with no worries. Elite knows what they are doing and I recommend if you have a European car to take it there for a thorough job at a fair price. I will take mine back for sure.

If you love your German cars like I do, you can not go wrong with Elite auto. I met Lane a few years ago and after having some issues with other auto shops including the large and not cheap locations in the Portland area, Lane was a huge relief. He has specific German tech training, and he actually diagnosis problems vs chugging through the common list that some program spits out pending on the code that your car is showing which is something that easily runs the bills up at other locations. While Lane never seems to try to upsale his ability to diagnose sets him apart and is not easy to find these days with computer dominated technical engines. His pricing is very fair, I have never had any issues with him and Ive been going to him before he was at his current location when he was working out near Portland road.

I have had my 2001 BMW 325i for over a year and a half, this is my second BMW. I have been everywhere and still have not found better service then with Layne at Elite Auto. I have sent several friends and strangers that direction because he is honest and fair. He has the best pricing ANYWHERE I have found, and he cares about his customers. I was almost left on the side of the road by he made sure that would not happen. BMWs are not cheap by any means, but i will keep my car as long as I can because I know I can trust Layne and the work he does! Thank you Layne!!

Weve been using Elite for several years now and it is nice to have piece of mind when dealing with car repairs. They know their stuff. We have had problems diagnosed with freaky accuracy, timely repairs and very fair pricing. They are good. If you want an honest repair shop look no further. They are not just limited to German makes either, weve had work done on at least 5 different cars at Elite including Japanese and American vehicles. Thanks Guys

I really like this place, and its owner Layne. For the last 2 years he has consistently helped me navigate the right path in maintaining my two older Mercedes Benz. I trust him to help me understand the most cost-effective way to keep my cars well maintained and safe. While I have been a customer of the MB dealers in Salem and Wilsonville, and used other independent shops to maintain my cars, my experiences with Elite and Layne have been the best.

This is the most amazing shop that I have been to. I usually feel like other shops are charging way too much, but the main guy Layne always gives me a great price!! No one can beat him for the quality and for the way he makes you feel like family!! The shop is always really fast compared to other places and theres something to be said about that. Layne got my vehical in quick to repair our AC in the heat of the Summer! He worked my schedule to get me out and on the road for my Real Estate appointments. He even changed my Brake light, that I forgot was out, at no added charge! Last Fall he fixed my Heat too. I had it looked at elsewhere and the quote was much more than what Elite charged me. This is a great shop with the skills, knowledge and attitude to do the job honestly and fairly (price wise). Theyve been helping me restore my 1995 BMW 325i Convertible and Im glad I found this shop. I even recommended it to my girl friend who took a 2005 BMW there. She said she felt very comfortable and that she wasnt being taken advantage of. Keep up the good work, well be back.
