Ace Diesel is unprofessional to say the least. First, they did not leave our pickup out as asked so we could pick it up, which resulted in us missing Thanksgiving with our family. Upon asking them why they said that it would not start (it was running fine when we took it in to have the chip reprogrammed is all), and that they called us but our voice mailbox was full. Which it was not, we suspect they closed early or didn’t finish the truck before the holiday (Thanksgiving) and forgot to call us in the rush or didn’t want to tell us it wasn’t running since they where going to be out of the shop for 4 days and it was a holiday. We didn’t get our truck back for another week after that. Then the next time we tried to start it, it failed to start. They spent an entire day trying to figure it out, after suggesting it was the PCM they denied that could be it, finally right before closing they put a new PCM in it and lo and behold it started…after 8 hours of messing around. They just don’t know what they are doing; they are not competent or knowledgeable. They don’t know how to properly install chips either, after taking it to a certified manufacture we discovered the way they installed the chip resulted in the fried PCM…Google how much that costs and see if you are willing to pay the price.

Pending lawsuit! Went to ACEholes for an oil change. Long story short, after several return trips to allow them oppurtunity to fix their fu## ups, got sent home with a truck that died along i5. Had truck towed to oregon fuel injection where they had my truck up and running a couple hours later. Ended up costing me just over $2000. Not sure if Kevin and his ACEtards are just that incompetent or if they intentionally sabotaged my truck. The parts and the work that i was told was performed at ACE did not appear to have been performed according to the shop that actually got my truck running again.

I have had my truck there for three weeks now, communication has been horrible. I called today to check the progress of the repair and despite being told Last week it was almost done the assured me today they havent even started it. I am a bit frustrated that my truck has been down almost 2 months between this worthless company and the last and its not any closer to being fixed.

Well it seemed like the owner here knew what he was doing but after 4 days of having my truck for a 2 day job the initial problem wasnt even addressed. Brought my truck to the GMC dealership in Portland and they had the problem diagnosed in about 2 hours. So after spending $2k here I still had major issues. Id think twice before bringing anything into this place.
