Awful-.No Accountability We rented a unit and were told that we HAD to rent by the same day we called, which was Saturday, or wed lose the discount. So we ran down there to rent it. It has a gate which is active and closed during the facilities non office hours. There was some question as to whether the key code we were given would work or not. The person compiling the application wasnt sure which computer to use, if the computer would work, or even if the printer would work. We paid for the unit and were told by the manager he wouldnt answer his phone on the weekend. This comment proved very prophetic. On Friday we returned with a friend, who drove her truck 40 miles to help us get our items to storage. We tried our key code and it didnt work. Luckily the man who lives on the facility let us in. We called the local police and they told us they dont even have a code in their files to let us in. So if theres ever a fire there, and the man who lives at the property isnt there, all your items will burn to the ground. We attempted to call the manager and he never returned our 7 phone calls that night, nor did he the next day either. We returned the next day to complain, and he told us, "Oh well, that happens. Youre not the first its happened to THIS WEEK. Not sure when it will be fixed. What else can I do for you?" Ummm, quit?

Professional facilities with a mom and pop hospitality. I chose Istorage Akron because of the availability of multiple storage spaces for my 29.5 foot pull behind camper. There rates were slightly better than other places within an hour of where I live with similar units. But what really put them over the top, and the reason I will continue to use them in the future for storing my camper is their service. I was treated like I was the most important part of their day from before I even began doing business with them. On the phone before I arrived, their office people were very very helpful, clear, and respectful, and when I arrived, they gave me a tour of the place and offered some different choices of units and gave me the best one available. I cant stress how friendly their office staff was and how easy it was to do business with them.

This is the only storage facility in Lancaster county that I would ever recommend. Years ago my family had a unit here and very happy. I believe ownership changed over the years but the manager stayed the same and is a really great man. This time I only had the unit for a few months but I had spent several weeks looking for a facility that would be closer and more convenient for me but they were all too "corperate" hard to get a hold of and not personable. I was fed up and decided to go a little out of my way back to istorage. The first time I called i got a great lady on the phone who was able to give me an awesome deal, I drove right over, filled out paperwork and moved in. I HIGHLY recommend. Prices are very reasonable as well!

Moved here from Arizona two years ago and had to place many of our household items into storage until we eventually found a home. Tom and other members of this facility were always more then helpful, professional and courteous. We had to also rent a second unit for our Harley Davidson. Although we had no garage at the time it was always convenient to leave my truck and get on my Harley and ride. It is a safe secured facility, very clean and pricing was very good. To Tom and the gang, thanks for all of your help over the past two years. You made our experience much more tolerable until we found a home and settled here in Pennsylvania.

Great experience. The on-site staff are very friendly & helpful. They go out of their way to help you. I came in to get a unit at the end of the day and even with the company software down for upgrades, they got me in a unit and we just completed paperwork the next day. Great customer service. Units were clean, property well kept, and good security. Best prices I found for the area. I would definitely use them again.

Excellent experience with iStorage Akron. Facility is well-maintained and very competitive in terms of price. Location and access was great. On-site manager Tom was an absolute delight to work with! He helped us select the right unit for our situation (temporary storage during a move) without trying to oversell. It was like working with an old friend. Cant say enough about Tom and and our overall experience.

I used iStorage for several years and found the facility clean and well-kept, the property always easily accessible even in winter. Tom & Kristine were very pleasant and helpful and I enjoyed my relationship with them & iStorage. I liked the fact that the units were fenced-in for more privacy, and that I could access my things anytime needed. Will recommend them to anyone looking for storage!

Couldnt have asked for a more friendly or accomodating office manager for this location. Leaving our stuff in storage for two years while we were overseas produced some anxiety but we returned to find our stuff well taken care of. No moisture issues or breakage and a simple online process kept the bills handed from affair. Highly recommend!

The i storage in Akron is very clean. Tom Mc Gowan was extremely helpful and easy to work with. The facility was easy to move around in with my boat and truck. The facility was close to the main highway and good access. Used the facility for over a year and always had great service. Would recommend this site.
