One star is too many... *Please read the note at the bottom regarding what you can do by contacting your local Cable Franchising Authority* Worst business I have EVER interacted with. Called Kuhn Communication when my wife and I moved into town and let them know we were looking for an "internet only" package. Everything seemed fine until we reached the point of determining the speed of the internet... At my previous residence we were used to internet speeds between 25 and 50Mbps (Comcast) where Kuhn only offers up to 15Mbps. When asked if they had anything better than 15Mbps the customer service rep said that they might, and started to get uncomfortable. I stated that I preferred having faster internet as I sometimes work from home and obviously faster is better. At this point the Kuhn completely quarantined my request and said they would not be able to do anything further until a rep could come look at our property. So I explained to them that this was a residence and not a commercial location. I also explained that I wasnt going to be hosting websites or running heavy servers, just basic email, social media, and occasionally dropbox. The rep still refused to budge at which point I asked to speak with a manager. The rep firmly insisted that there "were no managers on site" which I could speak with and when I asked as to when a manager would be in I was told "they come in and out, we cant tell you when theyll be here". So I waited a day, called back, asked to speak with a manager again and was met with the same excuse. So I waited 2 more days, called back and just tried to start the whole process over again. Amazingly I got the whole way through to the point that I had an installation date set up as well as a "new customer discount" for the first 6 months (or so I thought...). About a half an hour later I received a call from Kuhn stating that they had to put my request on hold until someone from the company could come and inspect our property... So I told the rep the whole story about how we were not a commercial location and we just needed internet... Didnt matter... So I asked to speak with a manager AGAIN, same answer... At this point Kuhn suggested we may want to contact CenturyLink as they are the ONLY competition to Kuhn Cable in our area. Finally, a week later I physically visited the Kuhn Communication office in Walnut Bottom to see if the absence of a manager was a hoax or if Kuhn Comm really is all Indians and no Chiefs (my wifes Native American so dont get your politically correct panties in a bunch), and sure enough there was absolutely NO leadership at their office! I asked to speak with the CEO, "sorry, he isnt here"... I have NEVER experienced such poor customer service in my life and the impression I got from them was "who cares"... I then told them that I would be filing a complaint with the FCC (which I did) as it is their regulation for cable companies to provide timely access to a manager. About 2-3 days later I finally received a call from a Kuhn manager explaining that the OWNER had driven by our house and cleared us for service. She then explained that we DID NOT qualify for a new customer discount and would be charged all sorts of additional hookup fees! All of this without ever apologizing for the abysmal wait time and atrocious customer service... In summary we chose to go with CenturyLink out of complete disgust with Kuhn Communication Inc. and encourage everyone dissatisfied with them to contact their local "Cable Franchise Authority" which is Penn Township and voice your frustrations to the people who are granting them their franchise rights (as there is no way a company like KCI could ever survive in a free market). If unsatisfied with their response the FCC and Consumer complaints.

This is absolutely the worst customer service interaction I have ever experienced. I am all about giving a fair review and giving a business the benefit of the doubt, but this is ridiculous. I called two weeks prior to get service from Kuhn, they told me they would have a technician come out and see if they need to put in a drop for our property ( which was scheduled a week from our conversation, mind you I have no service at this point at our location). Now I know for a fact the previous owners of this property had service even though they deny it and it shouldnt need a drop. Everyone else that does not have satellite on this road has Kuhn. So they told me they would dispatch a Technician and be back in contact the next day. It is now three weeks later no correspondence back from them and when I tried to call them today I was put on hold for 15 minutes just to be disconnected. This would be acceptable for a large corporation, not a small business like this one. After I called them back the very last time the CSR informed me that no technician had been dispatched to my location like the previous CSR had mentioned. She told me it would be until several days later until a tech comes out and reports back. CSR informed me that her Supervisors are at lunch at 2:30pm. Bottom line if this is the kind of service that Kuhn demonstrates I will sooner go with satellite.

Several negative reviews here, but my experience is quite the opposite. They promptly came to my residence and hung 400yards of cable on their dime, without a deposit, just for mid-level internet service without any contract. Service has been interrupted 1 time in 18 months for about 2 hours after a significant storm. We never complained or notified them, but they called that afternoon to make sure everything was working okay...try getting that kind of service from Comcast or Century Link! Im actually unsure of the internet speed. There were 2 or 3 options, but its plenty adequate for email and surfing, You Tube videos, and the like. Cons? Probably not absolute cutting-edge technology with fewer bundles and gizmos if you must have the absolute best, but their fees were extremely competitive after getting down to an apples:apples comparison. Kuhn Communications aims to please and I have been very happy with them .

Kuhn Communications is one of THE WORST ISPs that Ive ever used. Ive traveled to third world countries that have had more reliable connections. Their television and internet services are a joke, and the prices are laughable to boot. Almost every other day, there is a period when both television and internet fail. Considerable jitter and unreliable latency, do not use this ISP if you plan on using VoIP or take part in online gaming. I am currently living with someone who uses Kuhn, and I respectfully tell them to switch to a competitor regularly. A bit of hearsay, but Im constantly told horror stories by other Khun customers. Google Fiber save us all.

One star is way too good for Kuhn Internet. It has to be the worst company that I ever had to deal with. The customer service is rude. What a joke! I would love to go with Comcast, but unfortunately they do not provide service in my area yet. I hope that everybody drops you very soon because you dont deserve to be called a cable provider. Stay away from Kuhn if you can.
