The Midas technician boasted that he has been repairing brakes for years, and they should since they advertise it. After reparing my brakes at the Midas-Wexford location my vehicle was having trouble after a week after taking it it to be repaired. Each time I would go over a small grade, bump, driveway, small pothole my vehicle felt as if the two tires were loose. So, I took my car to be serviced at another place because I didnt think it was brake related rather the struts or shocks. The Auto Center I brought it to diagnosised the problem right away, "The front brake hardware which was missing from the right side and attached incorrectly. After replacing the missing hardware, all noises gone." I consented to have it replaced by the Auto Center, and paid for the service to be done. Afterwards I went to the Midas Wexford to confront the manager that handled my car the predicament Midas put me in and the additional money I had to pay for correct their MISTAKE! The manager was RUDE, ACCUSING me of trying to cheat him, POINTED to me to, " Leave the premises." Overall, the service there is very poor, DIRTY, and needs much improvement on Customer Service to paying customers. Do ot choose the Midas-Wexford location. Save your business for a place who cares.

It seems to be this place has changed for the worse, maybe due to changes in ownership. It used to be reliable. Ive decided not to come back. Brought in the vehicle at 9 am to get new stickers. Waiting around the whole day at home with no communication from them. Youd think that getting a new sticker should max take 0.5-1 hr. When I call up finally, they tell me that theyre working on it right now. Two hours later, still nothing new - This is now 4 pm! I call them again, and they tell me that I need brand new exhaust pipe on the front, catalytic converter etc etc Why didnt they at the very least call me earlier. I think this is poor customer service. Im not sounding happy on the phone and tell them accordingly, without being rude but to the point. The guy hangs up the phone on me. I went there, paid what I owed them and took my business elsewhere. They couldnt tell me exactly how long it would take to fix it (days it sounded like, and I need the vehicle every day), neither could they give an estimate! I think that service at this location has gradually slipped below acceptable.

I requested an estimate specifically asking for worst case scenario what it was going to cost me to have the exhaust repaired to pass inspection. My 2001 vehicle has close to 200000. miles on it so I did not want to spend more than the vehicle was worth. During the review I specifically asked the technician if the manifolds would need replaced. He said no and was confident that his estimate was solid. Now that the vehicle is in the shop there have been three different attempts to modify the estimate and increase cost of the work needed to pass inspection. Because the technician is no longer employed at their facility the general manager will not honor his estimate. I have no recourse but to litigate the matter since the only solution offered by Midas is to pay more money significantly more than the vehicle is worth. STAY AWAY FROM THESE GUYS AT ALL COST. THEY DO NOT HONOR THEIR ESTIMATES!

I have been taking my cars to Midas for years for my oil changes, but after my recent experience I will be finding a new location! I was almost scammed into additional services that were not needed for my vehicle! I dropped off my truck for a standard oil change. During the scheduled time I received a phone call from the manager highly recommending a tire balance and alignment because the wear on my tires was bad and the tires would be ruined if it wasnt fixed. I told him that I appreciate the information, but I was going to hold off on it. I took it to my local mechanic, who is a family friend, the following week and he told me that my tires looked fine and that he would be taking my money for no reason if I had the balance and alignment done. If I wouldve listened to Midas and the manager I wouldve been scammed over $100 for a service that was not needed!

Took my car in to have the brakes checked due to some squeaking. All the pads were fine. Chuck and Bill did find a tie rod out of whack that needed to be replaced. Chuck was great at walking me around the car and showing me what was wrong, what could be improved, etc. He was honest and friendly, two things sorely lacking in a lot of mechanic shops. This will definitely be my go to car care place in the future. Chuck showed me an estimate of what needed to be done and then let me decide how much, if anything, I wanted to do and when. No pressure and no crazy upselling. Highly recommended to anyone looking to get car work done from an honest crew. Sometimes less is more, and Chucks smaller team of mechanics is the proof in the pudding here. Try it, and I guarantee youll be more than happy afterward.

We have been taking both of our cars to this shop for several years and through three manager changes and MANY issues with our ancient cars and they have always been helpful, patient and efficient. I have never left there feeling any other way but respected as a customer. Cars are rough - they cost a lot of money to maintain and these folks have always been honest and offered us options. Cant beat that. Bill is awesome. He is the most honest mechanic we have ever worked with. He doesnt sugar coat stuff and he tells it like it is. And the new manager Chuck seems genuinely interested in doing what it takes to keep our business - just like the last two managers. Good stuff, Midas. Thanks.

Friendly staff, but a very bad oil change experience. My car has never dripped oil. I get an oil change, i get home, and the next day i notice my car leaking oil. I bring it in and the mechanic says, " theres nothing i can do, this happens as the plug wears down. you need a new oil pan". I go home and realize that if this was a gradual problem i would have seen some dripping before. I go back, and they actually look at my car. And it comes down to my last oil changer putting in a bigger plug. They manage to plug the leak, but now a week later Im almost out of oil. Maybe they are just bad with Toyotas. Hopefully they wont mess up your car.
