This isnt my normal shop but I had to take a car there the other week. Im not the slightest bit impressed. Had the car in for a solid once over, new tires and an alignment. It took them SIX HOURS to mount four tires and check the alignment...and that was with a scheduled appointment. They suggested I consider a new battery and then tried to sell me one that was twice the price (same CCA and warranty) as what I could buy from NAPA. Most frustrating thing was, their so called "inspection" of the car was a joke. Other than the battery they claimed it was 100% fine. I know for a fact that is total BS b/c I looked the car over myself before dropping it off. The coolant expansion tank was bone dry (they checked the green box saying it was great), the brake fluid was low (again, checked green box) and the one wiper blade had torn rubber and needed replaced (green box checked). Even better thing is, when they tried to sell me the batter they quoted me for the wrong one. The brilliant tech who did the work on the car filled out the paperwork saying it had a 2.4 four cyl engine...when in fact it has a 3.0 V6...which is both on the engine itself and on badges on the car. So the battery they wanted to sell me for $200 wasnt even the correct BCI size for the car and had different terminal mounts on it. The car needed side mounts, not top mounts. I paid for the 6 hour tire job and will never return.

FIRESTONE YORK ALWAYS MAKES THE CUSTOMER FEEL LIKE #1 (not #2)!! I have always received top-notch service and friendliness being a patron of Firestone York. They do just about everything they can to ensure you have a good experience. And theyre not salesmen, as they wont try to "upsell you everything". Heck, they even talked me out of $800 tires for a set of lessor tires that are still spinning fine on my family wagon! I had one incident where the tires were shredding, for some unknown reason, on one of my other cars. Itd gotten bad. They identified the problem with ease and certainty, REPLACED THE TIRES, and charged me NOTHING for the defect or replacement. That is class in todays free-market society.

I have going here regularly since 2008. I have always had great honest service and they know that I pretty much do my own work all the way around on all of my vehicles, so they dont try to sell me on a bunch of things they know I take care of myself. They are honest and have plenty of knowledge and more than once have discounted things that surprised me which was really nice. They recently helped me diagnose a check engine light problem that had been baffling me for a long time. I refused to have them fix the problem because I knew that I could do the repair myself but there is never any extra pressure about services someone may not need. Thanks for all that you do for us customers.

Dishonest and incompetent. They tried to sneak in repair work I hadnt authorized. They tried to bill me for work they didnt perform. They claimed it took them 7 hours to run a diagnostic, but then they couldnt give me a quote on what they claimed was wrong. I took my car to a different shop that confirmed my suspicion that Firestone was wrong about what needed to be fixed anyway. There are many other auto shops in York, avoid this one.

Very personable staff, always accommodating, can always fit me in in a pinch if needed. I usually end up talking to Shane, and hes so friendly, although I havent ever talked to someone there that isnt. I never feel like they are trying to rip me off or recommend services I dont need. They also let me know if theres a coupon or special running that applies to the service Im having done. Will continue to go there for years to come.

Made an appointment a week in advance and called the morning of to confirm. Arrived on time only to be rudely told that they could not run a diagnostic that late. Very disappointed and frustrated by this interaction because the employee was so rude and patronizing when he should have been apologetic for his companys mistake and the waste of the customers time. Well be taking our business elsewhere.

I always bring all of my cars here for the basics. Things such as oil changes, tire rotations and alignments without fail. They are always accommodating my schedule the best that they can and they are always nice to me. They always seem honest with me on what my car truly needs and dont ever try to sell me anything that I do not need. Would recommend them for basic car care needs any day.

I have been taking my car here for about 4-5 years. They are always honest, efficient and have never overcharged me for anything! When I first took my car there, the manager told me they would rather have repeat customers than over charge someone to make a quick buck. I have dropped my car off with approval for repairs up to $500 and gotten a bill for $100.

Bought snow tires for 2 cars & was told would swop summer tires on rims with winter tires on rims for free. They did this until new mgr. Now $ 21. Also bought 4 tires was told comes with roadhazard. Invoice charged me $60. Tires say on sidewall to only rotate one direction. So left must always be on left, right must always be on rignt.

The installation was great and the price was good as well. The only reason I am giving a 3 star review is because I had to wait at the counter for 5 minutes to pick up my car when there were no customers at the shop. One employee even walked past me after I had been standing there several minutes and did not even ask if I was being helped.

This is a GREAT Firestone. They are very friendly (the manager is A+) and very caring. i would recommend anyone to this location over and over again. Glad to have a reliable auto shop located near by. Thank you Firestone for being a *GREAT* place to go when you need some work done. A++

Oil changes have always been done properly for me. Very courteous front desk. The car is always ready when expected. With the Firestone credit card, oil changes are cheap! Cant vouch for other services since Ive only used them for oil changes.

I took 2 damaged tires in for repair and replacement on a Sunday (while driving through York). They provided excellent service and communication. Chris, the manager, seems like he runs his store very well and knows what he is talking about.

Seriously, this was one of the best experiences Ive ever had with repairing my car. I had it towed here at night, the next morning they worked on it and had it ready by noon. So happy with this service!
